Always love this place, no matter what the occasion. Recently visited for a surprise private party and just a quiet evening with a friend. Great staff. Amazing cocktails and tasty food. Highly recommend!

We sat outside for cocktails and was served by Fred who is lovely! He served with humour and good nature - will definitely return if service is always this good! (We live here so come down quite often)

Was ok. The staff was great, the place needs updating. The food was ok, not a wow. Drinks, I think they can do better than that. Has a great view. The atmosphere was great. Kids' meal it was too small like a toddler.

We visited Twenty1 on a Sunday afternoon and we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff. The Sunday lunch was delicious as was the sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake. A lovely place situated at the harbour. Great food, lovely decor and atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Had Sunday lunch today 23/3/25 I had beef my wife had pork both were excellent. The sharing veg was excellent also. Yorkshire pudding was as good as I’ve had anywhere. The service was fantastic on a busy Sunday lunch. We had our dog with us and they made a real fuss of him giving him treats and even a piece of meat. We would highly recommend when in or around Torquay.

10/10—everything was absolutely spot on, from the incredible food to the outstanding service and the perfect atmosphere this was all done from brother H. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, making the entire experience truly exceptional. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the staff was attentive and welcoming, and the ambiance created the ideal setting for a memorable meal. I couldn’t have asked for anything better! Cannot thank brother H enough for the amazing service every time I come here

Sunday Roast was good, with unlimited potatoes and gravy nothing can go wrong. However, the highlight of today was Fred's service. So refreshing yet so professional. Thank you Fred for making our experience extra special Shout-out to Thunderflower Gin, a new discovery and probably one of the best gins I've tried.

5* Fred looked after us on a busy Sunday lunch, great roast and the Thunderflower Gin, ale and service was superb! Will be back! 🤩

Came here for drinks and food! Great atmosphere and service! We had two pornstar martinis and a mix of tapas and flatbreads! Everything tasted great! Brilliant little gem on Torquay harbour! We left happy and would 100% return!

Food was pretty poor, the pizza looked and tasted as though it were from a Lidl freezer, which wouldn't be an issue if I'd been paying Lidl prices. Also if you've got a hunger on, you might want to try elsewhere, as the portions aren't particularly large either.

Owned by the same operators as Otto across the harbour. Food was nice. Good value for money, and a nice atmosphere. One imprivement point, at the end of the meal we independently ordered a cocktail at the bar for each other, to see if we could guess which which one each of us had ordered. We both actually ordered the same cocktail, the Maple Bourbon Smash, however they were prepared by different bar staff, and oddly appeared, and tasted quite different 🤔

Visited on the Thursday night, lovely food, atmosphere and cocktails. Nice and busy for this time of year as well! Definitely will return

We had an incredible meal at twenty1 in Torquay! The rack of ribs was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The prawns were fresh and delicious, while the halloumi was beautifully grilled with just the right amount of crispiness. The steak was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and incredibly satisfying. Every dish was top-notch, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Highly recommend this place for an amazing dining experience in Torquay the service was by Rebecca amazing staff member. 😍

The tapas were very good - far better than usual for a bar. Service very friendly and efficient, and excellent music too.

Incredible service from the second we walked in. We had no booking but the manager found us a perfect table even though it was busy. This restaurant is also dog friendly and the staff were once again super accommodating for our little pup. The food was delicious we had the sliders and the focaccia both came out in good time and together. Overall a wonderful restaurant and bar with amazing service we will definitely be visiting again! Nice Tapas bar, although the menu is a little limited especially when items aren't available. Panko chicken was exceptionally good. Monk fish was tiny and overpriced.

Festive menu is a little underwhelming. Gravy on the festive fries was watery and made all the fries soggy. Other food is alright

First visit to Twenty1. Food was amazing. Lovely meats on the roast dinner you can choose all 3 meats if you want that. The vegetables and potatoes were amazing as was the gravy. Ample portions of food and very good quality all round. The staff were polite well mannered and were attentive to customers needs. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality from the staff.

I was told to say that "Bruno is good" and then he will get a fiver. So let's see.

A nice gem overlooking the harbour open all year round with a great atmosphere and staff who are friendly And professional. There is live music on occasion which is always good. Quality are very welcome and evening there is a fantastic vibe.

Today food not as good as last time two weeks ago for Sunday roast portions seem smaller needs more veg as well , staff very slow today but still nice food

Had a Sunday roast here last week, food was excellent I had the 'i'll have it all' the food was honestly top notch felt like I'd had a Christmas dinner at home, service was good bit slow on the drinks/extra roasties and expected a bit more from the £5 extra pigs in blankets but overall happy, resteraunt area is really nice, only thing I found with me and the other 3 in my party was that we were all very thirsty and kept drinking pints of water in the later afternoon/eve so possibly the foods a bit heavy on the salt.

Fantastic food, wonderful location! Went for the wife’s birthday who had a great time, big shout out to Freddie our waiter who looked after us brilliantly, would recommend, we will be back

Food was amazing, best Tapas I've tasted in while, really big portions, staff friendly and really nice, ambience really good, just a really nice place to have food, most importantly our dog was made very welcome which to us is very important.

I celebrated my 60th last night. 24 08.24 absolutely fantastic could not pick any fault what so ever everything was lovely, we had the grazing boards yum yum yum , we had grazing boards for 20 to 35 people and there was plenty of food , delicious.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Went here Saturday night and sat on the balcony as table of 4. We arrived early and was shown to ‘The Naughty Corner’ for drinks while we waited for our table. Shown to our table and introduced to Freddie who was our waiter, very polite, very helpful and made the stay even better. Head of house was also very helpful friendly and made us all feel very welcome. Food and drink was fantastic and all in all fabulous night had by all. Will definitely return again soon

Literally can't say enough about how great this place is, some of the best food ever eaten and the service was top notch 👌

No wonder this place has such a good rating. We ordered Honey Haloumi Bites, BBQ wings, garlic bread, king prawns and many different cocktails - everything was insanely delicious and surprisingly not expensive. To top it all off, we were lucky that on a weeknight there weren't too many people and we sat on the balcony - there's a gorgeous view of the seafront. 15/15

On Saturday 27-July, the manager on the day brilliant customer service got us sitted, great food and just spot on. /Went to 21 on Sunday 2 October. Brilliant service by this guy. Food was very good and size was good to. Just think the prices are slightly high. But I'm going back.

We booked for a lunch and were delighted with very friendly welcome. The food service staff all have good hospitality skills and big smiles. Lovely views across marina. The tapas dishes were reasonably priced, good portion sizes, tasty but not very hot and a tough chicken on the salad. However a good venue.

We usually eat here when we visit Torquay. The menu has changed since our last visit. We had the garlic bread to start and then the sliders, we also had milkshakes and chocolate brownie. All the staff were friendly and polite. We would visit here again if we were in Torquay.

Excellent party venue ! We recently held my sister’s hen do at Twenty 1 in the garden bar. It was very easy to communicate with Ian over email who was very accommodating and happy to answer any queries over the phone or email. The space was really beautiful - ideal for a hen do as we were able to play some games without disturbing other guests! We really liked some of the additional touches such as being able to use the tv screen for displaying photos and we were able to use this for a video as well. The grazing board package with welcome cocktail was ideal for our group and we were able to order additional food items on the day too. The bar staff were really accommodating on the day as well. Thank you Ian and team!

Great value lunch, perfect location and friendly staff

We went on a Saturday night and it was jam packed with youngsters and was loud and noisy. Great fun with great vibe. The food and cocktails were excellent and we had a lovely time. We were probably the oldest people there but I would strongly recommend this place as it’s a fun place to go for a night out.

We had lunch here before travelling home from Devon. The tapas dishes are generous and absolutely delicious. Children’s menu also really reasonably priced and good quality food. Beautiful position overlooking the harbour and very friendly staff. Toilets were clean and loved the decoration! Throughly recommend and wish we lived closer.

Thought we’d give this place a try whilst staying in Torquay for a couple of nights because the reviews on Trip Advisor were so good. We were worried it might be full of people drinking on a Friday evening and we had the children with us, but we went about 6pm and it was fine. There were people just having drinks, but it was a good atmosphere and the service was really good. We had the tapas and it was delicious. Children loved their food and we had a really nice evening, so would definitely recommend.

I went for the first time last night!! 28/4 Food was amazing. Cocktails were made to perfection, best cocktails Iv had. attention to detail. Staff was very helpful and so friendly!! I will defiantly return and highly recommend. Thanks to all the staff and the chef for the lovely food and the great cocktails by the bar staff!

This was our second visit and Twenty1 delivers again! Service is great. KFC, Bravas, Hallumi bites from new Tapas menu are yummy. New dragonfruit mocktail is soothing. I had also liked the pineapple ginger punch from previous menu.

Visited twice while in Torquay. Once on friday night for drinks and live music. New Daze were brilliant and the wine list great. Visited a second time for an exceptional sunday lunch Service was fantastic, food was exceptional. Would recommend and will absolutely be returning.

Priced highly at £21.00 and based off recommendations, we were expecting good things from Twenty1's Sunday lunch, however; it turned out to be the worst we had all ever had. Our pigs in blankets were practically oinking at us, they were so undercooked. The roast potatoes to be blunt, were rank. They were rock hard, had zero seasoning and just tasted of oil. The cauliflower cheese was bone dry and had no sauce, just a tiny amount of grated cheese on top which was black and burnt. The stuffing portion was tiny, a little bit bigger than a £2.00 coin. Gravy was served in a tiny teapot, which just didn't work as it comes out soooo slowly. When we brought this all to the attention of the staff (apart from the gravy teapot), we were told our comments would be passed to the kitchen, that was it. No offer of a slight bill adjustment or even a complementary drink. We clearly heard several tables around us also complain. I'm thinking they might have had temp kitchen staff in day, as the food was so poor and looked nothing like pictures posted online. One of our party emailed Twenty1 once home and unfortunately that email has been ignored, this demonstrates pretty poor customer service. Establishments will have their off days and food quality will sometimes dip, however; it's how management deal with these comments that determine return custom and positive recommendations.

I went to eat here... once I seen there was dogs in the place I was put off... I will not eat where there is dogs... you may love dogs and customers may love their dogs but there are still people who dislike them and will not eat around them. I find dogs owners the most dirtiest people on earth.. There's also been so many dog attacks I'm surprised they sre not banned from everywhere and establishments that serve food should be more like weatherspoons... I'm fed up with dog owners taking their dogs everywhere like they are babies snd can't stay at home. I think all places thar serve food should have a ban on dogs being allowed in as it only take one hair of any animals to contaminate food and the amount of staff that also stroke dogs without washing hands is terrible. I'll stick to the balmoral hotel which serve great food and no dogs allowed and on the plus side for over 18s.

We went away for the weekend to Torquay and decided to visit this place for dinner,we hadn't booked but they were kind enough to fit us in with no fuss,I'm glad they did as the food wqs amazing the service was spot on and staff so friendly and helpful we are so glad we they found a table for us.

Well this was very nice. We wandered around the harbour looking for somewhere for a couple of drinks and a bit of food and came across Twenty1. Food was great, a little expensive, but not extravagantly so, and they served beer and cocktails. Great view of the harbour. Nice vibes. What’s not to like!

We went here on a Saturday night for some cocktails with a little group. It was very nice, really good atmosphere and despite it being busy, plenty of places to sit. I congratulate the owners on returning the classy side of Torquay night life back to the harbourside.

Visited on a busy Saturday. Fantastic food and atmosphere. Hats off to the chefs as those dishes were outstanding! The Korean Pork was stunning and the Steak was cooked perfectly! There was also a good selection of alcohol-free drinks as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all. Very enjoyable evening all round.

Headed here for lunch, First impressions looked good and it's dog friendly which is great! I'm always apprehensive as sometimes places look nice and trendy but the menu or service let's them down. However this place NAILED it. The team were all lovely and helpful nothing felt too much trouble, It felt genuine not forced. Ordered some tapas style food and a children's meal deal. Food and drinks arrived quickly. The food was really tasty and good quality. The team were really helpful They got my daughter a colouring sheet and crayons and brought over dog treats. Overall left very impressed and will be back for sure!

The staff were lovely (particularly the young lady who usually works in Brixham, sorry I didn’t get your name). Ian was also very attentive, checking in to make sure everything was up to scratch. Came here to have a meal for my friends 30th birthday. Service was very attentive and food was delicious. Brandon and Gary made our night. We didn’t realise there was live music and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back !
