Love this place. Burgers were well made and delicious. Service was very good and staff were very friendly and nice. I liked the interior design. Worth visiting

Wasted £10 sadly. DO NOT order the bacon roll. £4.15 for microwaved bacon rasher, and the bread roll.. not fresh. You know that weird density defrosted rolls take on, especially if you sit them in a heated counter? £4.15. Let that sink in Staff were lovely, the place beautiful to sit in, feels very cosmopolitan, which is great. I popped in on my way home because I was so hungry, I needed food now. I opened the bacon roll to let it cool, and the stench of microwaved bacon doesn't smell like bacon. I can't put my finger on the word to use, other than, unedible. I was just too hungry to sit drinking the coffee. It was nice coffee though.

2 Celiacs and they couldn’t have been more helpful, we have eaten here a few times now and it’s always the same high standard and we will keep going back

Hestercombe is a great facility with some fantastic grounds and lovely walks. But the restaurant experience has room for improvement. Found it impossible to reserve a table in the Stables restaurant. Voicemail message not returned. Subsequently spoke with main reception to ask them to pass on message to the restaurant team (it was confirmed that there were staff in at work that day) but again no return call. Sadly, gave up and made arrangements elsewhere. Perhaps the way ahead is to have an online table reservation system? Read less

The cafe food is great plenty of highchairs the service area could be improved so your not waiting so long less people making cups of tea and more clearing tables

Absolutely awful. Coffee was that bad I threw it away. There are cobwebs from the light fixtures behind the counter. Flies on the tarts in the cake counter one member of staff wafted it off the custard tart and it went to a cherry bakewell but neither one were taken out the unit glad i wasnt eating. For not lo g having a referb I will not be going back any time soon. Staff were friendly enough but very slow even forgetting one woman's drink.

Hired the upstairs for a party and Antony and all the staff were incredible! There were so many comments on how beautiful the venue was and it was amazing that we had our own bar and toilets so the party was for us! We had an absolute blast and the room hire was very reasonable! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to have a party!
