Dawsteps provided an amazing lunch for a corporate event with very little notice. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service, with fantastic communication and even arranged delivery at short notice. The quality and variety of sandwich fillings, cakes and crisps were seriously impressive. A very happy cohort of attendees and fantastic to support a local business. We’ll be back! A lovely place that has a great atmosphere, great decor, excellent music and lovely staff. The food was perfect and the Oat milk latte is the best I’ve EVER had. (I’ve had a few!) It was my daughter’s 30th birthday and she wanted to try this place. When a member of the team discovered it was my daughter’s birthday they placed some lit birthday candles on her food. Such a nice touch. The food and drink is reasonably priced and the service was top notch too, We’ll be back!

What a lovely little watering hole. Had a hard day with a family issue (inquest) Came to the Gypsy Moth selected a pint of ‘Sea Fury’ best pint I’ve had in a while then chose the seafood medley for lunch. What a meal, hot, delicious plenty of fish, enjoyed every bite. You can be sure every time I’m in Plymouth I’ll be making a return visit here.

As I stand here today as a final-year student at the University of Plymouth, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to a place that has been a cornerstone of my journey—The Library Café. From my very first year, this café has not only provided us with amazing food but has also created a welcoming environment that feels like home. The support from the staff has been invaluable, and I am truly thankful for the countless moments of encouragement and kindness I've experienced here.I’d especially like to thank Julie. Your unwavering support has made a profound impact on my years at university, and I appreciate everything you’ve done for us.To all the staff at The Library Café, thank you for your dedication and for nourishing both our bodies and our spirits. You have played an essential role in our university experience, and for that, we are all deeply grateful. Thank you!

Noticed this place today in old Buddha hut premises on Mutley Plain. Launched at noon as a Greek Meze restaurant and takeaway. Friendly with interesting menu. Will come back on an evening this week. I think opening is Wednesday until Sunday from noon until 9pm.

We liked Coffee Plus for grab and go stuff to wait with or take on the trains but it was removed about 2 1/2 years ago. But for a couple of months or so we’ve seen a much smaller mobile set up in the space several metres inside the turnstiles. Very basic but useful in its own way. Better by far is another sort of pop up coffee and bagel place outside at the west end of the car park run by Hutong. We have yet to be drawn into the new cafe in the north west corner of the concourse between Smiths and the ticket counters so can’t say whether it’s any good or not.

I've had the all-day vegan breakfast at the Box Kitchen a few times now and I've been meaning to rave about it as it far and away the best vegan breakfast around - in terms of value for money and as well as quality of the food. The staff are always helpful and friendly and as a venue, it's really hard to beat! Plymouth has been waiting for somewhere as good as this for a long time, so I for one intend to remain a regular patron.
