Great latte coffee but coffee and walnut cake as dry as old boots, two waitresses seem interested, manager gave the coffee for free, my friend had the lemon drizzle cake which was delicious

I have visited this establishment three times in the past year, when I come up to Plymouth from Cornwall, I would definitely recommend! The food is delicious and plated beautifully, you can tell the chef puts love and imagination into the food, the drinks are also lovely, staff are very pleasant and accommodating with a warm, friendly welcome! I especially loved the maple syrup and cinnamon butter that they make themselves! Will definitely return!

We happened upon Fig & Thyme by accident and, as we wanted a coffee, we went in. The service was excellent and the latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband also had a piece of coffee and walnut cake which he said was delicious. Also the café is a delight to be in as it’s beautifully decorated and the two ladies who were running it were very welcoming and helpful. I would most definitely recommend this place (and it seemed to have a good menu as well).

This is the 3ed time I’ve been here, each time I’ve got something different. Every time it’s been amazing. Each bit of food is bursting with flavour and the coffee is great. What a combo of sweet and savoury options. I highly recommend coming back weekly to work through the menu lol Also the staff are an absolute delight, super polite and helpful 5 stars all day

Had a really good breakfast here. Sourdough toast with avocado, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and a poached egg. All perfect and really tasty, lovely presentation too. Loved the decor here. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would return.

Warm welcome on a wet & windy day. Service excellent & all staff so friendly . A menu to satisfy all family members. Would highly recommend & will certainly return.

This was our second visit, and it is amazing. The food was brilliant, bacon and waffles to die for. If we lived closer, it would our regular brunch haunt. It was very busy on a Saturday lunchtime, but the staff seated us quickly and everything was provided in a reasonable time.

Had a wonderful brunch, food was amazing and the staff very accommodating. The interior is gorgeous but can’t not comment on the mould- literally everywhere. Was definitely a bit off putting due to its volume but we would return for and recommend the food, though perhaps for a takeaway…

Beautiful inside and atmosphere was lovely. Sadly the service was slow and food was a bit basic. It was however very busy so might be worth trying again.

First time here and I was relived to see that it lived up to the hype. Always worried to go somewhere new and feel let down. Menu had a nice amount of variety on it ,I went for the crab on toast. The food came pretty quick as well, it was beautifully presented and delicious just what I needed. Will be back thank you for caring about quality.

Hands down my new fave breakfast spot in Plymouth - staff are super friendly and the food is delicious (...especially the sharing platters!! 😋😋😋). If you want a great breakfast / brunch spot - this is your place 👌.

I have eaten here for brunch and lunch a few times and the food , service and atmosphere is superb This prompted me to hire the venue for my 50th birthday celebration Booking , communication and food was without fault . Everything I needed and asked for was no problem at all I had the perfect evening with my family and friends I will ,and would recommend Amber and her team at the Fig and Thyme kitchen without question A delightful and beautifully decorated venue Debbie

Very nice food, however it took 45minutes to come out and I wouldn’t say it was overly busy. The staff were really really lovely. It’s quite expensive for what it is. I would go back but only if I’m not in a rush to go somewhere.

A very nice cafe great for a light lunch,well presented food, pleasant decor and pleasing service. A little sparse on the crab portion for my dish for £13 though. Still a nice visit overall

Beautiful little cafe and my go to breakfast stop, I get the bacon waffles off the menu with poached egg and smokey beans. Always have 1 beer and 1 apple juice. Always cooked well with runny poached egg. Always a smile from the staff and I always get my fav seat. See you soon

Me and my partner really enjoyed our visit. We got the Mexican sharing brunch and thoroughly enjoyed all the different flavours. Everything is presented with care and the staff were very friendly. If you find yourself looking for brunch on the Barbican then this is the place to go.
