Tasties Cafe in Plymouth

Nice clean cafe, friendly staff and the food was excellent and value for money. Definitely recommend visiting this cafe.

Fried fish is excellent being fresh, hot, big portion with peas or bean, batter is light and crispy, highly recommended!

Huge selection of meals and snacks to choose from. From roast dinners, breakfasts, fry ups, kids meals, jacket potatoes, smaller plates for lighter appetites. The only problem we have is deciding what to have. Food is always served hot and with a smile. Nice, clean place, no frills, just good, hot food for a very reasonable price. Mug of tea £1, no pretentious pot of leaves here. Always have people sitting in and ordering, so clearly a popular place.

Good bacon and sausage rolls and scrambled egg on toast also went down well. Drinks OK - chocolate milkshake average. Location pretty manky, but you can’t do much about that!

Always great service from the staff even when they get busy and they do get busy our food has always been spot great taste excellent Vaule for the money good prices on all it’s a shame it’s just not a tad bigger as it does get very full quickly see you again

Visited today. My daughter had a breakfast which was amazing. Bacon cooked to perfection as were the eggs. No grease anywhere like some places. I had an egg and bacon sandwich. The bread was so fresh with perfect eggs. Firm white and runny yolk. Served by friendly staff. Excellent prices too. Highly recommend.

Good traditional British food at good price. Atmosphere friendly and local, and casual. I like the roast chicken with 4 veggies. The chicken is a half small chicken.

Lovely friendly service, decent food, very clean and even had a fresh sausage for my dog. Would definitely recommend this place for good honest food at a reasonable price - and don't be afraid to take your dog.

Found this little gem this morning when we were looking for somewhere to go for breakfast. I was served by a lovely friendly man…who was really very accommodating to my “elderly “ mum 😉…..my hubby and I had their delicious fried breakfast’s all cooked to perfection (lovely dippy egg!) Next time we come up to Plymouth for a break we’ll definitely visit again. Thank you for being so fun!

Great food at great prices. They have a "gut buster" fry up which is 4 of everything for £9.99, and it comes with a tea or coffee. One thing I particularly liked was when we asked for it without tomato they offered us an extra hash brown or bacon, which is nice as sometimes you're made to feel like you're rubbing the place if you ask. When I ordered my double quarter pounder with cheese and chips they told me I can get a free drink too, which again was nice as I hadn't realised. Just really great service all round, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the market.
