First trip to this new eatery, wow! The place was busy and had a really good atmosphere, lovely location down in Sutton Harbour. We had the crab and scrambled egg on toast and our daughter had the "make your own" breakfast as well as a few chocolate covered strawberries (of course!) the food was amazing, tasty and a decent portion. In summary our new favourite brunch spot, we will definitely be back soon!

This is such a warm and inviting place. We absolutely love it here. I cannot recommend it enough. The food is Excellent. I love the name of the place because it suits it so well. Homemade and truly authentic. You cannot go wrong.

Service & pet dog friendly, people friendly, great coffee, atmosphere, footwear and occasionally other item repairs, just ask. Ps. Could the person who stole the dogs water bowl please return it. Thank you in advance.

Stop off here weekly for coffee as it’s the best coffee in town. Staff are always super friendly and although a small shop always has a nice atmosphere. Last few times I’ve gone to visit and passed by, the shop has been closed. Hope this is only temporary and not permanent!

I would never of gone in there. It was pouring with rain, rather than get soaked I popped in. What I received was a very warm welcome and a very good breakfast type meal. It was excellent value for money, cooked to perfection. As and when I visit the area, I will pop in again to enjoy good food at a good price.

This was our first visit on a beautiful spring Sunday lunchtime. I had seen the menu on Facebook and I wanted to try the lasagne. Staff were friendly and service prompt. The food portions were not massive but fine and more importantly the food was well cooked and of quality. Will return.

Neil & Tracey we’re very welcoming and friendly hosts. Impeccable views, surrounded by wildlife and nature. Bedrooms are spacious and super clean, living room is cozy and the kitchen is well set out and bright. Great option of food from the food van. The main event was the swimming pool and hot tub, the children spent hours enjoying themselves and playing into the evening then adults relaxed in the warm. We were so lucky with the weather. Perfect for families or friendly get togethers, we will be back

Lovely place with amazing food. Went there twice on the same day because it was so good. Fries with garlic and parsley. Love it!

The cafe looked clean and welcoming, so thought we would give it a try. The owner was very welcoming and had our coffees to us straight away. The triple scrambled eggs with added bacon on sour dough was excellent but its the owner that is the star, he was very down to earth, chatty and enjoys the interaction with his customers. Well worth a visit to this gem of a cafe on the doorstep of the barbican.

Dawsteps provided an amazing lunch for a corporate event with very little notice. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service, with fantastic communication and even arranged delivery at short notice. The quality and variety of sandwich fillings, cakes and crisps were seriously impressive. A very happy cohort of attendees and fantastic to support a local business. We’ll be back! Fabulous place - a little hidden gem! Excellent food , great service & lovely atmosphere. Great to go somewhere that offers something a bit different- fantastic coffee. Avocado on hash browns was delicious! Good value - definitely going to return next time in Plymouth!

We like the bread and the snack food here, as well as the friendly staff and atmosphere inside and out. When we go it’s generally busy. Came down this Wednesday and saw the chalk board sign with new times Thursday to Saturday only. There was nothing about this on the website and we hope that it’s only temporary.

A family own street cafe. I give 4 because the services is attending, friendly ,helpful, and the cakes are very much continental with great flavour and kind of old fashion made .
