I was after a cake for my parent's Golden Wedding Anniversary and found Just Like Mummas on Instagram. Communication with Molly was great and after her advice I chose the award winning Lemon, Blueberry and Elderflower cake. The cake was a surprise and my parents were thrilled. The cake looked and tasted AMAZING and was perfect for the occasion. I definitely recommend Just like Mummas, massive thanks to Molly and the team.

Whenever my family visit us in the UK, they live in Atlanta, USA and Singapore and always look forward to a good pasty. I visited Just Like Mumma's in Oreston to buy their superb home made pasties. On visiting their shop today I found that they've recently relocated to Faraday Mill Business Park. I phoned them to see where they were in the Business Park and asked about their pasties. I found out that although they still offer a very wide range of home cooked food, unfortunately they no longer make those delicious pasties. What a pity, we personally found their pasties the best we,'d tasted anywhere. Good luck to the team in their new location and I know they have their reasons for no longer making those lovely pasties. I've just broken the news for my family so we'll have to hunt once again for another supplier. Those pasties really were just like my mum made them long, long ago

5 star business, from the beautifully designed website, the perfectly selected packaging and obviously the delicious content inside the box! I ordered the gluten free Cake-away box and received 6 of the tastiest cakes I've had in a long time, its clear to see why they've won so many awards! In the box I got carrot cake, millionaire flapjack, chocolate brownie, bakewell tart, coffee cake and oaties. I have to say it's a tough decision between the Bakewell tart or brownie for the best but I think the Bakewell tart just steals it for best flavour! Finally I would like to praise the recipe card, when so many people have food allergies or dietary requirements this is perfectly presented and clear for everyone to read.

I visited Just Like Mumma’s stall at the Saltram House Christmas Festival. I opted for the pear and ginger sponge which was honestly the best cake I have had in a very long time and I would recommend anyone to have a slice! The ladies were so kind and have obviously worked very hard on providing fantastic quality cakes and other treats. We actually ended going back to the stall three times! I look forward to visiting the cafe soon.

Having moved to Oreston, Plymstock nearly 2 yrs ago. This has always been our local and the food and drinks have always been scrumptious, its no wonder they win so many awards!! The coffee is so rich and smooth, even as a decaf and the selection of soft drinks is great. From breakfast to lunch the food has always been so tasty and a real treat. My favourites are the bubble breakfast and peanut butter and banana cake or the carrot cake ❤️. They also do some incredible specials sometimes like the chorizo & halloumi on toast. The whole family always make you feel so welcome and always make the time to chat. You must try it even if its just to takeaway, you wont be disappointed.

My mum took us here today. Great little find that I hadn’t heard of before. Small but perfectly formed. If I was to own a cafe this is exactly how I would like mine to be. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good food, the sausage sandwich was delicious. The cakes were equally yummy. Good magazine and newspaper collection, you could easily while away a few hours here. I look forward to returning and trying the weekday lunch menu. Little gem, keep up the great work ladies!

Great food, delicious cakes from this Mother & Daughter run establishment. Breakfast and Lunch available daily to eat in or takeaway but only limited seating so sometimes no sit in option. The occasional evening special events seem to go down well and the recent burger night was a big hit. They just started doing bread to order at the weekend, sold out in 15 minutes which speaks for itself. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch, wish they would open Sunday and perhaps close for a day or two during the week, they would certainly increase turnover.

I had heard about 'Just like Mumma's' at my hairdressers but was not sure if it was just a good cake shop or if you could eat there. Pleased to say we found it and satisfied ourselves that it did both with excellence. It is a family run business and it soon became apparent on our brief visit that there are regulars who seem to visit daily and who seem to have become almost family. Our waitress seemed not only helpful and efficient but very caring in her attitude. We regretted that we had already had lunch when we visited and could only make room for one of their delicious flapjacks (me) and a blueberry scone with cream and lemon curd ( my husband! ) The breakfast and lunch menus look great and I can see that we shall become regulars - the only problem I can envisage is that demand will soon exceed the 4 tables of 4 chairs each and window bench seating!

Visited the cafe following lots of local recommendations. We had walked from Plymouth and were heading to Wembury so it was a logical stop. We both had breakfasts.....local produce from the village butcher used. I had the bubble and squeak breakfast which was the best ever. Not greasy and well cooked. Lovely polite staff and reasonable prices. Their cakes are award winners and other customers were taking home goody bags. Nice surroundings which is the bar of the local rugby club but don't let that deter you from visiting. Plenty of free parking and dogs welcome which is always a bonus. The cafe is next to playing fields so the dogs can be worn out beforehand. Will certainly visit again.

The café was run by Plymouth Albion Oaks RFC, but it is now independent of the club. I try to eat there at least once every week because the food is excellent. It is straight forward café food, well presented, plenty of it and all cooked while you wait. Staff are all very friendly which makes one feel very welcome. The café is in the club house, it is always very clean, plus the large windows make it feel light and airy. Selection of tables and chairs plus comfy settees to pick from. The cafe facility started well when the clubhouse opened but when the founders handed it on, there was a steady decline to the point when it ceased trading as unviable. Now one of the founders has thrown her all into a wholehearted resurrection which seems to be working. It has been spruced up, has an hospitable feel and the food is good. The rugby season has begun, the place has a throughput. From our brief visit it looks as if it should do well. Not a lot of choice close by and there is ample parking here as well as room to walk your dog. Good luck to it.

Was told of this cafe, went with an old work colleague, when we arrived (09.30)there was a rush on with people collecting and ordering food for later, plus people sat out side . Owner said just take a seat I be with you soon. Not a problem we said. We sat chatting, looking around ,very clean place, enough seating for about 20 covers inside, same outside. A small nook with 2 leather sets in seating area ,idea for a quiet chat and coffee/tea. Owner came in after 15 mins.apologised again. Not an issue. Ordered 2 breakfast and 2 teas. Food arrived ,looked great tasted lovely, freshly cooked to order. 2 rounds of toast each, and a nice hot pot of tea each. Owner came over to ask how it was , we both said excellent and would Def return and recommend to others . Another pot of tea, then went to pay..it was the day of computer crash around world!!!!! Oops!!!!!! Could not pay full amount only had small amount with us. What to do,,well owner and son said not to worry pay next time you passing or come back . Thank you we said .. Doesn't that restore faith in community. I am going back on Tuesday 23rd and drop off money . Cost of breakfast £9.50. Tea £2.50 Plus not a scrap left on plate one of the best I've had if not best in a long time
