Lovely food and reasonably priced,in this wine bar type establishment near the top of Port Isaac’s town. We had the Satay chicken as a starter, Rump steak kebabs and the shake and all dishes cooked to perfection and delicious. Really enjoyed our meal. Run by two guys who know their stuff and wish them every success. Note it’s not the biggest so advise to book in advance.

Visited this establishment for lunch today. And what a find! The freshest seafood as the title suggests, staffed by the friendliest of staff. Wife had lobster, crab and avocado salad with a Sicilian lemonade to drink. I had a lobster and crab open sandwich with a bottle of cider. We were served by a lovely lady who was the owners mother and had filled in on a busy bank holiday Monday. She was delightful. This establishment is outstanding and I can’t recommend it enough !!

I don’t like to write a negative review, but this is needed - if only to stop anyone else making a mistake and purchasing one of these overpriced awful creations; with expectations based on the ‘Made with care’ claims made on these products. We had one of Fee’s ready meals last night: the chicken leek and tarragon pie. Supposed to be a treat but was anything but. Had it not been too late to prepare an alternative I would have just put it in the bin. £13+ for a grey, gelatinous, unpleasant over-seasoned mush under an ill-fitting top of what cannot ever be described as pastry. Overpriced and dreadful. The cooking time was completely wrong - 45 minutes and the inside was still semi-frozen. Even allowing for appliance variations this was out by around 15 minutes. Whilst one expects some compromise with pre-prepared meals, they can be, and are, far better than this. I’d say Fee’s is trading on some clever marketing and a reputation built on this but the products themselves are sub- standard and not even on a par with the much cheaper, mass-produced supermarket ready meals. Not an experience I’d recommend.

What a great find! Been walking on Pentire and couldn’t find anywhere we liked open right on the coast. Came just in land and found this great pub. We ate outside, but was lovely inside, with plenty of seating. Food was great, lovely triple Egg and Chips (veggies, so we swapped out the ham). Fabulous Cornish ales and a nice chilled Chardonnay. Jessie and Leo are lovely folk and deserve to be recognised. A great pub with great service. Highly recommend.

My favourite place in Polzeath! Food is amazing, service is great and it’s reasonably priced compared to other places. It’s a great place to come whether you just want a pint, watch the football and enjoy the pub vibe or if you want a nice evening meal, the restaurant is a nice open space with lovely views.

We had lunch here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Everything was 5* from the hendricks gin and tonic in long crystal glasses with cucumber slice to the sea food sharing platter with cold white wine to sip along side. Service was perfect and surrounds gorgeous. We even went back for breakfast again the next day. Chatting to the manager who was friendly and genuine. Need to try Pilchards next time for BBQ seafood.

Not been here for a while, and have good memories of the previous little Avalon many years ago. Good range of choices on the menu. I had the mac and cheese with garlic bread - served with a little salad - it was excellent and tremendous value at a tenner. One real ale - Doom - which was fine. Will definately be back later in the week.
