Visited this establishment for lunch today. And what a find! The freshest seafood as the title suggests, staffed by the friendliest of staff. Wife had lobster, crab and avocado salad with a Sicilian lemonade to drink. I had a lobster and crab open sandwich with a bottle of cider. We were served by a lovely lady who was the owners mother and had filled in on a busy bank holiday Monday. She was delightful. This establishment is outstanding and I can’t recommend it enough !!

I cannot rate this establishment enough. Wow! I had the oysters and a salmon sandwich… both just fresh and tasty and mouth-wateringly good. He had the crab/lobster/avocado open sandwich! Just watching him eat it told me all I needed to know!!! Quality and quantity Had planned to go the following day but poured with rain and as we have a dog it was a no for us. Totally understand why dogs aren’t allowed inside as it is a small establishment. Staff were so friendly and so helpful at giving us suggestions of where to go etc. I was very sad we’d not found this little gem at the beginning of our break.

The food was lovely but a bit overpriced and the portions weren't overly generous. We had monkfish chowder at £16.50 but it was more like a starter. It tasted nice.

You will need to reserve a place. This is a small cafe and although there is an attractive overspill into the courtyard in summer it's better to rely on the limited space inside. And why would you go to all that trouble? To get the best crab sandwich on this stretch of North Cornwall. Thoroughly recommended

Been going here for the past 5 years for their Crab sandwiches. As the name suggests the food is fresh as they have their own boat. Great place but as it is small(especially if raining rules outside seats) you need to be organised.

We love Fresh from the Sea and always try to include a visit when we are in North Cornwall. The fresh crab and lobster you can get, all beautifully prepared and served in this tiny cafe.......This time we were staying self catering locally and had 'take away', a sandwich for my OH and Crab Salad for me.....there was a backlog of orders so we were instructed to 'have a browse around the shops' and they would come and find us, which they did 5 minutes later....excellent service ! 1st day of trip, first crab sandwiches and some yummy cake too!Friendly ladies gave us an engaging welcome and chatted about local fishing challenges (endulged a pretentious city foodie!). Great crab soup, fresh crab sarnies and some lovely Victoria sponge to boot. Delighted to give our trade to a traditional family business delivering quality fresh fish ‘from boat to table’. Recommended .. just don’t the road from Outlaw’s main restaurant so easy to find above port isaac. Try the Padstow cider too!

Just as it ‘says on the tin’ - fish caught straight from the sea and served in the cafe or sold over the counter for you to cook at home. Recommend the smoked mackerel pate and crab soup.

A trip to Cornwall wouldn’t be complete without a crab sandwich so gave this little cafe a try and couldn’t of hoped for better. We sat outside with our dogs and received table service from a very friendly and chatty waitress. The sandwiches were very tasty and had a nice selection of drinks to accompany them, the only negative would be it was a tad expensive but hey it’s worth supporting small local businesses. Well worth a visit! Love from Cheese and Ham and The Crabettes ;-)

While touring Cornwall we decided to stop off in picturesque Port Isaac for a spot of lunch and sat outside this tiny little cafe which had tables in a small courtyard area outside in the sun. We were lucky as there are only a few tables and a couple inside as the place is so small. They serve the freshest crab sandwiches you'll find anywhere. They may be a wee bit more pricey than others charge, but your crab isn't painted onto the bread with a brush here, you get plenty of it, white crab at that and they catch it and prepare it themselves. We also had the crab soup which was lovely, I would have taken some tubs away but didn't have a cool bag and we were out all day. The oysters I had were also excellent, served with shallot vinegar and tobasco, as were the coffees and cakes. Could have sat there all day. Staff were efficient and friendly, if you are in Port Isaac you must pay this little place a visit!

Hi there, I am a great fan of trip advisor and rely on it for when I travel here and abroad as I'm sure so many other's do.We are staying in Padstow and have eaten in Rick Steins and Paul Ainsworth which was both lovely. We live in London and like most cities are used to lovely restaurants. Yesterday myself and my husband took my mum to Port Issacs to see this beautiful Port and we stopped at Fresh From The Sea for a quick Sandwich -which I had read on trip advisor, I went up to place my order and ordered a couple of crab sandwiches and a lobster one for myself, I asked the lady behind the counter with the glasses on if it was going to be easy to eat - which I feel was ok to ask as I didn't want any mess!To which she replied sarcastically 'it's a sandwich ' and made me feel really stupid in a small café with other people listening and as if I wasn't used to eating nice food.Maybe it was pretty obvious, but I just felt I was allowed to ask and felt it was unnecessary for her to speak to me like that. May I say everyone else was extremely pleasant and it was the best lobster sandwich ever !!

We came here on holiday last week, we were in Port Isaac to have a wonder when we came across this little cafe, they have three tables to serve tea and coffee and what is chalked up on the board! There is a fresh fish counter with the catch of the day caught by the owner as he has his own boat and goes out to sea each day to catch, they had fresh lobsters crab and other fish depending on what he managed to get and you can have lobster salad etc. We had Tracey's freshly made crab soup with a roll and it was delicious, just hit the right note feeling rather damp from walking! This is a little place but very much worth the visit, we bought freshly dressed crab to take back to our hire cottage and we were so impressed we went back two days later to by more to put in our cold bag to take home to Surrey! Why can't we buy this quality even in our top super markets?? London restaurants do it but at an extortionate price! I highly recommend this super little business and hats off to the fisher man who goes out to get it. A must if your in Port Isaac!

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.
