Loved the food, feeling of the place. So beautiful inside. Loved the books on display to read. Coffee is delicious, sour dough bread toasties are so tasty with a delicious side salad! But the prices for some things such as the cans of kefir as super expensive and the cakes also are expensive. The carrot cake was lush though!! Loved it overall 🥰 wish there were more open places like this to hang out and eat great food

We were having a walk along the prom and needed some lunch, saw a sign directing us over the main road which took us to this lovely cafe. Unfortunately due to the C word it was take away only, we ordered 2 cream teas and in 2 secs we were back on the front on the nice new seating overlooking Mounts Bay. The scones were top class and in our take away boxes we had a knife and very generous pots of delicious strawberry jam and clotted cream. Well worth crossing the road for and everything looked delicious we were torn between the home made quiche and vegetable soup but as it was our last day chose the cream tea. If you’re in the area cross the road and support this lovely little shop, hopefully when we visit next year we can sit in but if not with views to die for who cares!

After visiting my home county of Cornwall in Penzance, I wanted what all Cornish men yearn for a real Cornish pasty so I bought one from a shop that has been trading for 20/30 years and what I tasted was the biggest disappointment I’ve ever had (total rubbish) disgrace to all Cornish pasties, so the next day I went into the deli called the Cornish Hen and bought another pasty and wow it was the best I’ve ever had in Cornwall so I say to all you people who visit Penzance and want the best pasty going visit the Cornish Hen in Penzance you won’t be disappointed
