One of the oldest surviving Art Deco swimming baths in the country, built during Penzance's heyday as a fashionable seaside resort. The grade II listed pool is triangular with graceful curves and is considered the best surviving example of its type, with the exception of the Saltdean Lido in Brighton. In early 2018 work began to add a geothermal section to the pool, becoming the first of its kind in the United Kingdom to use this type of technology.

An hour in the geothermal pool was an absolute treat. Really enjoyable and unique. For anybody with sensory issues, the floor is fuzzy with algae, suggest water shoes. I visited the Jubilee Pool in September, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also notable drawbacks. The water was heated to around 30 degrees, which was very pleasant given the 17-degree weather outside. This made swimming quite enjoyable. However, the cleanliness of the geothermal pool was a significant concern. The pool was not very clean, which detracted from the overall experience. On the bright side, we booked the sauna after our swim, which effectively protected us from the cool weather. With improvements in the pool’s cleanliness, this could be a much more enjoyable visit. There is a car park in front of the Jubilee Pool where you can park there easily.

We didn’t use any of the facilities, but visited the pool to take a look at the restoration. They’ve done a superb job. We had considered doing a yoga session and swim, but the weather wasn’t good enough to do outdoor yoga so we just had a visit. The restoration looks great. The oools and cafe were nicely busy. It’s a shame that some of the clean lines are spoiled by lots of safety handrails and kit to cover over the geothermal pool. They’ve done an amazing job though and it’s fantastic to see it in good use. Bravo!

Where do I start…The facilities for changing are clean, however nowhere to lock belongings away, it wasn’t really an issue as long as you kept your eyes on your things. The main sea pool was beautiful and refreshing, and was the saving grace of the day. However, as most people visit for the geothermal pool, sadly this is where it went completely down hill. The temperature board at the entrance said 30C, but it was more like a very very tepid bath. But don’t worry, it gets worse. The cleanliness of the geothermal pool was the worst experience I personally have ever experienced. Yes it’s sea water etc so I wasn’t expecting bleached tiles, however the floor, side walls and seating were coated in what I can only describe as slime, and the amount of debris (human and general grime) floating in the water was absolutely shocking. It looked and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned since opening all those years ago. 2* is really really generous, I won’t be going back for the geothermal experience.

I was disappointed when I booked Main Pool access and I thought the geothermal pool access was included with this. It's such a waste of money. Your website is confusing and I feel it was intentionally meant to be confusing as it's not clear that the tickets for Main Pool and Geothermal tickets are separate. Below is the statement from your website. When reading this, I thought that when you buy either Main pool or geothermal, it's included for both. "Main pool access is included in all geothermal pool ticket prices." I also didn't expect that it's not a covered pool or even the geothermal pool is not. Sauna facilities are also not very clean and both male and female can go inside so it's uncomfortable when I needed to shower or change.

Would give it 0 stars if possible. I paid 42 pounds for two tickets and on reaching there, they didn’t have basic amenities that pool places should have. For example, there were no lockers, you need to keep an eye on your bags at all times, there were NO HAIR DRYERS. So if you are planning to enjoy the warm pools, they expect you to leave the place in cold UK weather with wet hair. There are no towels, I had to buy. They don’t tell any of the above points upfront and it’s not easily written on their website either. Also the staff was not at all welcoming, very rude to customers. Despite having tickets, we decided to not go into the pools and leave the place. My recommendation to others is to either be aware of the all points and then go, or avoid this place altogether and opt for better options in Cornwall. Otherwise, it’s a waste of money.

Went here on an August mid-week in the morning. It was very cold. Booked ahead about £8 each for the main pool. It is sea water so the same temp as the sea. In hindsight, I wish we had booked for the geothermal pool - this costs around £16 per person and includes access to the standard pool to. It is around 27-30 degrees so a lot more comfortable. We enjoyed our experience but feel it could do with a bit of better signage and modernisation. It wasn't clear we had to go into the shop to check in. Changing rooms and toilet and shower on site. Also a cafe which was quite dear but had a nice hot chocolate to warm up after the coldness of the water. Overall would recommend but advise to go on a warm day or in the geothermal pool.

Highly recommend checking Jubilee Pool out if you find yourself in Penzance. Kitsch retro architecture and cutesy pastel coloured changing room doors make for a cool aesthetic. The geothermal pool is like getting into a warm bath! The cold seawater pool was surprisingly not as cold as expected, likely due to being away from the currents so it works have warmed up throughout the day, so it was cold but not unbearable. TAKE A TOWEL, NOTHING IS PROVIDED! Worth checking the weather carefully and noting that you probably won't be drying off in the sun, so bring a nice big towel and a bag to stash your wet swimsuit in. It's recommend bringing flip flops too, as the changing rooms are quite dirty, so something for your feet helps.

Loved alternating between the geothermal and cold pool and the new sauna is brilliant. Pool temperature at 15.5 was actually too warm for me; I’m a cold-water swimmer and will have to come back in the autumn/winter 💙. Friendly, generous staff at the cafe, the whole area is well-staffed with lifeguards and very well-kept, I always feel safe. Wonderful facilities, tasty food and coffee. The only suggestion I have is that it would’ve been good to have a few more hot options on the menu, even in the summer for cooler mizzly days like when I visited. First time we have been here for Sunday Roast. Was a bit dubious. But, I was proved completely wrong. Had the poussin, gorgeous, so were triple cooked toasties, cauliflower and broccoli cheese, glazed carrots, I could go on. Now waiting for creme Brule. Oh, the Juggling Jem cocktail was scrumptious as well. Brilliant atmosphere as well. Well done guys!

Very nice up market hotel a converted grandhouse. Beautiful. architecture interiors designed to match. It was a very comfortable stay, well appointed room. Lots of parking, does have that "no lift" issue, be aware the upper floors could be a problem. The restaurant was solid, but pretty limited menu. Standard breakfast included, cooked to order. Solid local option.Wi fi secure.

I remembered reading great reviews on this place, so after a hard day at work, walking past the shop I decided to try it as a take away. I was so disappointed with the Katsu Veg curry. The taste was quite nice but the consistency was mush and most of it was made up of peas! Half of it in fact was peas and had the distinct reminder of school dinners.
