The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Hayle North Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

This lovely little café is nestled in one of my favorite beaches in the world, and I had it recommended by a pair of trusted friends. Went for lunch today and it was unbelievably tasty, stunning food, and views. 10/10. Can't wait to return for one of their upcoming events.

Went with the grandchildren who were very exited to have the choice of the many flavours of ice cream. I choose a tub of the dairy free banana and on tasting it thought there must have been a mistake with my order as it tasted only of coconut. I returned to the counter and was told by the female serving it was because of the coco nut milk used. I told her there was not even a hint of banana flavouring and she just shrugged. Since it tasted what I imagine coconut hair cream taste like, I returned it to the counter where a polite young man apologised although made no offer of an alternative or refund. I suggested it might be an idea to re label it coconut rather than banana. As we were preparing to leave the serving woman came up to our table and started yelling in my face in front of other customers and my family. She shouted that I could PURCHASE any other ice cream in the shop. I emailed the owner and received an email back saying she herself had tasted the ice cream and agreed with me saying she was going to add more flavouring next time. Apparently the rude serving woman was defending the young man although I cannot see how suggesting a product on sale has a misleading label and changing it might stop other customers being disappointed. I received no apology from the owner even though she agreed the ice cream did not taste as it should and no offer of refund.

Plenty of hot food but grateful that we could take pasties back to our self catering accommodation. Friendly staff. Good quality food.

Great service, perfect for a young family. Staff were accommodating and had high chairs ready after we mentioned having toddlers when booking. Carvery was very nice and lovely coffee too!

I have been popping in to this cafe over the last couple of months . Great friendly service really made to feel welcome . Delicious cakes and snacks lovely coffee . The cabin is warm and so lovely to sit in . Equally the outdoor seating is very pleasant and comfortable

Had another lovely stay at the Madhatters tearoom. Great food and accommodation. Pauline and Mark are lovely people and always make you feel welcome. Set off for early start home and Pauline supplied lovely sandwiches and cakes. The weather was beautiful even after a stormy start on Saturday it turned out well. Will look forward to visiting again. Great pub grub the fish and chips and burgers were exceptionally good value and quality. Lovely landlady and staffers made us feel really welcome would definitely go again. Perfect place for a lunch

My family and I have always had superb meals at The Bucket of Blood and ieven had my birthday meal with my family there last summer. Haven't been able to return there until last week. Subsequently we were going there expecting really nice food as it is also such a nice pub in itself. When I saw the menu I was shocked as it was mainly sandwiches with the only hot meals being fish pie with a salad, scampi or halumi ciabatta. The halumi was like tough rubber and the scampi felt like just a plate full of frozen food heated up. It felt like the chef had gone ill and staff had to make do. If this is the new norm as far as food is concerned, you're really missing the point and will cause lots more like ourselves to avoid going back there. If there was something wrong which caused a possible reduced menu, then it would have been good to have let us know. Thing is, our elderly mum was so looking forward to going back there due to our brilliant past experiences, that we didn't have the heart to pull out and so tolerated the dreadful choice and the food that arrived. I would put the quality of their pub food on par with that of The Pandora down on The Helford. But what we had last week was pretty shocking in terms of choice and quality. I sincerely hope it improves.

Lack of staff - machines now rule Somewhat disappointing to see the tills and staff have all been removed from the upper men’s and children’s department, no assistance available, the changing room is now unstaffed. Downstairs in the clothing department just two members of staff, it’s a do-it- yourself now, not sure why M&S have decided to remove its sales staff, no assistance, in my opinion it’s a significant backward step. Might as well shop online and have delivered as the experience of shopping in store has gone. Personally don’t wish to scan myself,
