Great coffee & excellent customer service! You can take away or sit in the little cabin to the side :) Peaceful! Tried the breakfast.. which was disappointing.. egg was crispy, sausages were basic & bacon was weak & could have been cooked better.. Will stick to coffee ☕️

We popped in here for refreshments after our dog walk. A nice spot, sitting in the sun with a decent flatwhite. Menu read nicely for a small cafe, and we would eat there next time.

After walking our dogs along the Memorial Walk we stopped here for a pot of tea and cake. I was pleased soya milk was available for me. Very pleasant lady brought our tray out to the little 'cabin' which is cosy, seating for about 12 with cushions and rugs. Magazines and reference books to read too. A nice conclusion to a rainy afternoon.

Had an hour to kill in Hayle so took the dog for a little stroll and came across this little cafe by the Lido. A few tables outside but I decided to have my (very nice) coffee across the road sat on the harbour wall watching the world go by whilst the dog seemed to enjoy his homemade treat. If I lived here I would stop off every time I could. Funny how sometimes the most unexpected and smallest of places, and a simple but good coffee, are the ones you know will stick in your memory forever.

I stopped here on my way back from the beach with my dog. It is a lovely place to sit and people watch! I had a pot of tea and a slice of toasted fruit cake. The tea came with 2 extra tea bags but there was plenty enough in the teapot as it was. I drank the tea from a vintage chine tea cup which made the tea taste extra special. The staff were friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Popped in for a cup of tea whilst enjoying a walk through Hayle. Pleasant cafe with seating and a small wooden shelter offering a shaded area. A proper pot of tea with bone china cups. Refreshments and light bites to eat also available.

We visited after doing the circular walk. I had cream tea, which was fine. Family had ice creams and coffee. Nice surprise was the small indoor seating in a summerhouse which felt like a snug.

After a walk along Hayle Estuary we stopped off here for a cuppa when we noticed they did cream teas. So we had one! A choice of plain and/or fruit scones, we had both and they were served warm with plenty of jam and clotted cream. My only criticism is that the tea would have better if it was loose tea and not bags, but that’s just my own preference! Otherwise it was a lovely cafe to stop at

Looking for somewhere to stop for a quick coffee, we came across this unexpected little find. Next to the open air swimming pool in Hayle, the cafe was open even though the pool was closed. There's a little chalet to escape from the wind, and we enjoyed a delicious coffee and cake.

We spotted this little café when looking for a light bite during a recent visit to the area. It is next to the open air swimming pool and looked bright and inviting – we had already decided to give two other places a miss. You can either sit in a little chalet or outside. We did the latter to make the most of the late autumn sunshine. We decided to go for soup-of-day (it was carrot and coriander) and a roll. To make it a bit more of a meal we asked if some cheese could be added to the rolls. They were happy to do this. Everything was fresh and tasty, service excellent and not overpriced like many establishments. Would very definitely visit again. An added bonus is free parking nearby which is rare these days!

Driving along the beautiful coastline we came across this tiny little unassuming place in Hayle and stopped in for cream tea. WONDERFUL tea and scones with a huge amount of divine clotted cream! Lovely books adorn the shelves for browsing through while you take in the sun and enjoy your tea! Very reasonable prices.... oftentimes hard to find in Cornwall. Definitely worth an afternoon stop!!

Looked up and down the main road for a nice cafe and a grocer recommended this place on the North Quay. Was surprised when we found it and wasn't expecting much. Don't be fooled by the size. There were 10 of us and the cosy "shed" easily accommodated us with room to spare. Everyone enjoyed their food, from nippers to adults and the cream tea was top notch. A lovely experience.

This is interesting...a mini coffee shop completely unpretencious but so handy. On the corner just by the Memorial Walk there's a hatch in the wall next to the Lido entrance to place your order for drinks and be tempted by cake and suchlike. Then you can either enjoy it outside or, as we did today cos it was soooo windy, pop into a little hut to enjoy your drinks in the warm! What a great idea....a lovely mug of coffee/tea and a shared piece of millionaire's shortbread..delicious. Wish we had something like this at home.

i always stop by for a drink after one of my walks, especially as they offer herbal teas and not everyone does, average service, decent drinks, lovely seating, it's an overall nice place, if you're looking for great service i suggest one of the cafes along the harbour front, but if you're looking for something cute average and simple then this is a good place

I see mad reviews about the quality of the coffee, or using the "wrong type of milk", or "cash only" --what sort of people leave these reviews? It is obvious it is an old fashioned "snack kiosk" attached to a basic old fashioned outdoor seasonal swimming pool, rushed off their feet by pool users when its open in the summer, but kindly extending a year round service to walkers and passers by all year round at one end of a free and popular sub tropical garden walk with free parking! It's leased from a local council, who do not supply a broadband connection for card machines, and do not want the pool toilets used when the pool is closed for Health and Safety reasons, the small family and volunteer friends who run the kiosk do a great job under difficult circumstances.I like it, but then again, I don't expect Barrista style coffee, fine dining or silver service from a "hole in the wall"

Visited this cafe on Sunday with my family, First impression is lovely with a little summer house if weather is not kind and a white picket like fence surrounding outdoor seating, all very well maintained. What a shame then that they didn't pay attention to the quality of the coffee we were all looking forward to.The coffee grounds had either been over used or not enough had been put in the coffee maker, so the coffee was very weak and bitter and all four of us left it. I had wanted to visit this cafe because I am compiling a book to come out next March entitled Cornish Cream Teas a Guide to the Best. Sadly this little cafe will not be a part of it.

Tasty - stopped in to grab a takeaway sausage roll and iced bun. Sausage roll was excellent and will be returning! Coffee was also good. Easy free car parking outside.
