Not welcoming, no atmosphere, existing and long service… Too bad the view is beautiful To flee

Fries were raw, jacket potato with shrimp still frozen on the inside. En pie was tough and barely warmed up in the microwave. Glasses dirty and tables sticky. I've never had such bad food.

Popped in for a drink. We were completely ignored even though the place was really quiet. We eventually walked out. How much would a "I'll be with you in a minute" cost?

My husband and I unusually had an afternoon off work and decided to treat ourselves to lunch out. The Grove Ferry inn has had a really bad reputation for food locally for years but I had recently read that they had a new chef so we decided to give it a go today. Wish we hadn’t bothered, I’m sure there was no actual chef involved! Pleasant enough waitress but was taking our drinks order before we had even sat down so had to scan the wine list quickly. There was only one other table with people at lunchtime on a Friday so that should’ve given the game away really. It was a freezing cold day outside and cold in the restaurant with no fire lit. I ordered a burger from a very limited menu and my husband the trio of sausages. It all looked ok when it arrived but it was made of cheap sausages that all tasted the same, not different as specified, and a cheap salty burger with frozen chips. Bog standard gravy from a tub and frozen onion rings, need I go on? Very disappointed and definitely won’t be back or recommending it to any of our friends. Such a shame it’s such a beautiful location, they just need a proper chef and quality ingredients and some heating would be good too!!!

Pleasant enough inside but felt it was a bit pretentious to be honest. Quite friendly service and the food was fine, but very expensive for what it was. Two smoked salmon bagels, a tea and a juice for just over £42 with service.

I didn’t realise this was Coffi Co before we went in or id not have bothered - I just do not like their order outside / via app / via screens business model. Wasn’t very busy - ordered an iced coffee and a babycinio and took 9 minutes (we had to have a take away as we wanted to sit upstairs). Ordered no chocolate on the little ones drink but they put it on. My iced coffee was nothing special. Their toilets are public toilets and they are grim especially if you have a little girl who needs to come with you to the men’s. Wouldn’t bother again tbh same way I don’t with the other Coffi Co’s.

Not very good at all. This was our second visit. First visit for lunch was disappointing. Food looked as if it had been thrown on the plate. Not worth what we paid for it. A few chips and dry peas. Second visit we all had baked potatoes. Potato was soggy and mushy. Not crispy at all. No texture at all. Prawns were tasteless and looked as if they had been mashed. Will not be going again. Not worth the money paid.

We ordered two Jacket Potatoes and prawns and onefish and chips. The jacket pototoes were overcoooked and blackskins. The fish and was atrocious it had obviously been battered and fries and then re-heated. We should have complained to get a refund, but we had to catch our train. We generally never complain, but the food was rubbish. Will not be eating there ever again

Took half an hour for anyone to come and tell me my order will take another 20 mins to not being able to get a refund. Last time I go there

The service was awful - every staff member was miserable and it took 20 minutes for a milkshake to be made. The ‘Gel-latte was terrible. No cream or fudge pieces as per menu - it was more like someone’s melted ice cream poured into a glass. It was lukewarm and had no particular flavour. The spoon provided was dirty. Will not be returning or recommending.

WE go about once a month after my husband has had his treatment, food usually good, hot, although portions have got smaller over the years. Our meal was not very good, my pizza did not have the rocket on it and it appeared much thinner than usual. My husbands chips were cold. The manager served us and did say, any problems let him know. I looked for him after we started our meal , could not see him, so thought oh well. I did go up to the bar after our meal, raised my disappointment, but because we had eaten our food,, except the cold chips , the bar lady said nothing she could do, thanked us for our feed back. So if not satisfied, motto to raise concerns, there and then. We will go back next month ...........

We went to Le Pain Quotidient for a breakfast during a weekday. We were greeted in a very friendly manner at the entrance and taken to our table. Our server was Poonam Malik and she was absolutely amazing as she made sure we were served on time and there was nothing left that could drive an unsatisfactory response. The food was great!

Después de viajar al centro de jardinería desde nuestra casa en el norte, nos enteramos de que a nuestro querido perro no se le permitía entrar en la tienda. Podría añadir que no hay señales fuera del propio centro de jardinería que lo indiquen. Qué curioso, apuesto a que podrías comprar un letrero dentro del cual dice que es Un hombrecito pomposo, no podía esperar a acercarse a nosotros y salir del edificio. Tengo la sensación de que por eso no hay señalización, claramente recibe sus patadas por avergonzar a los buenos dueños de perros. Qué pena después de salir del centro de jardinería de diamantes en Bicester, un centro de jardinería más superior y muy acogedor de perros. Me parece irónico dado que tienen tanto mascotas esquina y un spa de perros en el mismo sitio. ¡No volveremos! Diabolical. De los como John Lewis puede tener perros, no estoy seguro de por qué este lugar se considera tan especial.
