We went here to get a little desert as we have been to this cafe before and saw it had quite a good range of gluten free options. They didn’t have much left in stock so we were lucky to get what we got.The gluten free cookies were delicious, tasted really fresh and like they were homemade. Also the cake was really lovely too and tasty. They clearly list the allergens of the product on the screen protector thing behind the cakes. Also tell them about any allergies when ordering.I believe their menu is 100% vegan too.The toilets were really clean too.

Superbly refurbished hotel in pretty village. Lovely rooms which were spotless, and cosy bar and restaurant areas with open fires. Unfortunately food on our evening was poor compared to a previous visit. Main course of roasted cod returned as inedible and adjoining table also had to return a steak which was under cooked. Pork chop average. Service that evening was excellent and the manager apologised, did not charge for the returned dish or the alternative dish. Breakfast the following morning was disappointing - we arrived about 9.30am to find no tables set for us, many tables not cleared and what appeared to be a Morrisons loaf as the bread offer. Slow and Haphazard service. Cooked breakfast was ok. The place deserves significantly better. Might have been an off 24 hours.

This is a great place for amazing coffee. A very chilled out environment, very modern and hip. Nice touches like the water served with coffee, armchairs, plants in the dining area. However, don't frequent on a Sunday morning. Man alive, the place is busier than Piccadilly Circus! Mid-week is perfect, weekends are a write-off. It's also freezing in the dining area, so visit thoroughly wrapped up.

Stopped here on a cycle ride after reading the reviews. Perfect for lunch - delicious chunky granary sandwiches with good choice of fillings. Nice coffee. Also did jacket potatoes, soup etc and good range of local cakes. Only two tables outside which were full, so sat on grass area opposite which has a couple of tables. Would be a little tricky in poor weather as very little indoor seating. Would definitely go again but do agree with some others that the service would be better if it came with a cheery greeting and smile 😃

A great cafe - in all respects. Interesting menu; not the usual “English breakfast” stuff! I had a really delicious - and large - vegan smashed avocado + roasted tomatoes, spinach and harissa. It couldn’t have been better. Good cappuccino too. Delightful service. There can’t be a better place for breakfast, brunch, snacks, coffee, etc in Witney.

A have been out for Sunday roasts but this was by far the best I have ever had. Quality beef & trimmings, portion so big, I needed a doggy bag & demolished the next day! Friendly warm atmosphere! Sticky toffee is to die for!! I will be back!

We visit this place from time to time for lunch and the food has always been fantastic. The cafe is also very nice with both indoor and outdoor seating (including benches underneath trees for those who don’t want to be in the sun). Staff are friendly and open to any fiddling with stuff on the menu (e.g. taking off bits you don’t want on sandwiches, etc…)

A well-presented country pub, but no atmosphere (it was a Tuesday lunchtime) and not helped by the bare walls. Good service. I chose this pub mainly because of the food (sample menus on the website). However, the range of meals was limited, not what I would expect of a 'gastropub' and a bit of a disappointment even after viewing the menus before my visit. The food was ok, but nothing special. I understand it has recently changed hands. Won't be going again.
