Been coming to this delightful cafe for years. Recently chose to go dairy free and staff are so supportive and understanding. Trying out different milks and this morning had a cappuccino with Almond milk which was delicious. Despite it being difficult to create a good froth this experienced barista managed to create a masterpiece (even with coffee art on top) 👏☕️🤩

I can barely believe the difference between our recent late morning visit (1st May) and our visit in July 2023 when I couldn’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. Whilst the basics haven’t changed, and the coffee and tea were just as good, the presence of multiple dogs in the cafe was slightly off putting (one woman, who came and sat at the table next to us, brought three with her although, to be fair, she also brought a blanket for them to lie on and they were well behaved). There were other dogs, too, but the main concern was that two staff members were making a real fuss of one particular large dog and were kneeling down, stroking and playing with the dog (it seemed that staff knew the two women who were with the dog). When they’d finished handling the dog, the young male member of staff washed his hands before he continued serving but the female staff member (I recall that she was wearing a sweatshirt with a slogan or writing on the front) just returned to the back of the counter where she was serving. A few minutes later, the same two members of staff returned to talk to the two women and play with the dog again and, although both washed their hands afterwards, they had been actively fussing the dog and pulling it towards their body meaning that their clothing had been in direct contact with the animal. Whilst I did feel that there were too many dogs in the cafe, this is just a personal view; my concern is about hygiene issues and not about the coffee shop being dog-friendly. I really don’t think that staff members should be touching dogs, and certainly not pulling the animal towards them and onto their clothes, but, if they do, hand-washing afterwards should be an immediate priority before serving food and drinks.

Where to start? Coffee - cappuccino - really smooth without a hint of bitterness. Chai latte - really pretty , light and fluffy, an experience not just a drink. Loose leaf decaf tea for sale (I have been searching for this for months , I don't want to buy online if I can buy in person!) Greek leaf tea - sold as flower buds on the stalk .... I had a pot to try , it's light and refreshing without honey and once it's brewed a little longer add a little honey for a completely different drink ... What a gem of a place the staff are friendly , efficient, passionate about what they do and absolutely lovely ....

Came here whilst out cycling and sat outside in the sunshine and had a gingerbread latte with a chocolate croissant which had vanilla on the inside. A sign inside the door read 'Best coffee shop in Oxfordshire - the Daily Telegraph' - not sure if it is but what I can say is that it was absolutely delicious.

Amazing customer serviceSo I went to Woodstock on the 7th Feb for a cheeky walk round Blenheim, I noticed the Woodstock coffee shop. I’m not a big coffee drinker myself but fancied a warm drink, I spoke to a young guy outside (COVID friendly) I explained my hatred for coffee. He informed me that they do a Turkish delight hot chocolate. He was so lovely and chatty, he made me feel proper welcomed and the hot chocolate was to die for, I even got some cheeky marshmallow and cream I would highly recommend. A lovely little shop and one amazing member off staff. Was actually pretty dishy, I won’t lie

I sent my work colleague to grab a quick double espresso whilst working in the area, as it was the only place serving during the lockdown. The double shot was the most disgusting coffee I have ever drunk, it tasted like the coffee machine hasn't been cleaned by a qualified person since before the first lockdown.Having worked in a coffee shop in the 1990's we were trained to make every cup count and most importantly, keep the machine clean and in good working order. The coffee was bitter and coarse it left a horrible taste in my mouth which stayed with me until lunchtime.I took the coffee back myself and expressed my dismay, but the BOD working had no chance for a retort and looked like he really didn't care.AVOID this place unless you have no choice!

We were staying in the area and stopped by for some lunch and a milkshake. We had a bacon and brie panini each, a hot chocolate, and a caramelised biscuit milkshake. Everything tasted amazing, my partner was very jealous of my milkshake, and total came to about £14.Would recommend to anyone visiting Woodstock who wants to go to a coffee shop.

This cafe looked nicely urban from the outside and the coffee machine was impressive so we sat down with high hopes for the quality of the coffee and it mostly lived up to that anticipation. They were not doing sandwiches at the moment which they put down to Covid, not clear why. When we, who were seated, asked about placing a repeat coffee order we were told that we needed to join the very long queue of people snaking their way out the door to order takeaway drinks. Really? Apparently, yes. We then asked about using the loo and were told that due to Covid, the toilets were not open to the public. You mean the public who are your customers and have been seated in your establishment eating and drinking? Once again, apparently yes.I know we’re living in difficult times, but if you are going to open your doors to seating customers rather than just doing takeaway, you’ve got to show them more respect and consideration. Poor.

Awful.I arrived and it said on their door they open at 6.30 and the time was 7.25. Was I walked in and stood for 5 minutes trying to make noise so someone heard me. To be greeted with an angry person because they don’t open till 7.30. I said I’m so sorry and went out and waited patiently, until another man went in two seconds later and got served! So I finally went in again and the server didn’t smile once and the coffee was sooo burnt. It’s the 3rd time I’ve been in and the coffee is ALWAYS burnt or poorly done.I’ll stick with natural bread cafe from now on.

Called in today after looking on Trip Advisor for best coffee and cake shop to visit and this one was reviewed the best .Very disappointed , tea and coffee was very nice , as was the clementine almond flour cake , but the girl who served me couldn’t of had a less unfriendly attitude even if she tried, was blunt and not a smile or a thank you , plonked the drinks on the table and stomped off. Nice place but won’t rush to this place again, will look at another to visit . The owners who I think was Greek seemed very nice behind the counter , they just need to cheer up their staff .

This is what it says on the label - a coffee shop. Great drinks, cakes, and a few sandwiches. All served in basic but comfortable surroundings. This is certainly not a place for a traditional afternoon tea, or hot soup for lunch. However, very convenient, and had a nice atmosphere. Difficult for a place like this to differentiate itself from other similar establishments, but enjoyable experience.

Our research paid off, ‘tapas’ suggests Spanish style bites however you’ll be met with a great variety of European, Asian & traditional British lite portions, we ordered 3 each plus a side which was spot on & allowed 6 tastes per couple. Add great local beers, we had their own IPA, very busy but the way the dishes came to the table as they were cooked made for a grazing style of very relaxed dining very highly recommend this place but book before hand.
