The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Tonbridge and Malling South East

Found this hidden gem today inside the antiques shop in Snodland High Street. Staff were really friendly and food was excellent.

We came across this pub by chance. Unfortunately the waitresses were non engaged - they were very young but still no excuse. No eye contact, no follow up on the food, sauces, etc. Bog standard pub grub served by untrained staff. A mediocre experience all around.

Omelette served up like scrambled egg , A hair under the omelette , Coke price marked at 1.05 Sold for 1.50 Service quick Food beyond a joke,

Really good atmosphere the bar staff is very friendly especially the lady with the red hair very nice and welcoming would go back

Once again, another lunch at Melias place exceeded our expectations, service is great, food freshly made and served by a really friendly staff and owner. Highly recommended

I went here for a Folk Night 🌙 and unfortunately, I did not get to eat in this very atmospheric pub. It has a feel of its historic past as you walk in, and this is added to by being in the grounds, almost, of Tonbridge Castle. A good selection at the bar and outside area if required.

Good little pub with friendly people and a good size garden, pool table area and fireplace.

What can I say! Love this place. Visited again yesterday with a group of friends and everything was awesome. We sat outside for drinks before going in to eat. We all ate something different and all loved our lunch choices. As a vegetarian I was pleased to see a halloumi burger and highly recommend it, much nicer than ones I’ve had previously. The selection of drinks is endless. We had cocktails outside in the sunshine afterwards and loved the stunning presentation. The drinks looked and tasted amazing. So much thought has clearly gone into these. The staff are lovely and keen to look after their customers. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they made sure we relaxed and had a great time. Everything here is done well and my friends were blown away and asking when we are coming next. Thank you for working so hard and making it such a lovely afternoon.

Food was very good. Steak cooked very well and nachos very tasty. Thank you to chef Cam (hope name and spelling correct). Well done to Gail and other staff members for good service. Always considerate to my granddaughter with learning difficulties.

It’s called the Hungry Guest for a reason……You’ll be hungry after visiting as a guest. Dimly lit, curt staff and tiny portions. Huge plates though but poorly filled. I wish I’d check the reviews before I ordered. My pic is of the “English Breakfast” but unlike everywhere else tea and toast is extra. Looks like child’s portion doesn’t it ? You’d never believe that miniature portion cost a tenner 🤣🤣🤣. The Mrs asked for the fried eggs on the smashed avocado on sour dough to be changed to scrambled. The answer was a flat “No”. Never again, don’t waste your money

We ordered afternoon tea for 3 people. Lucy and Carol were very helpful and couldn’t help us enough. Sandwiches were delicious. Smoked salmon, cheese with chilli jam and cream cheese and slices of cucumber. Scones were light and fluffy with jam and best cream! When we got to cake it was Victoria sponge and was just a perfect ending as we were getting full! We were served any amount of tea. All at a reasonable price. Certainly recommend. We have been before but never had a cream tea.
