Pub has re-opened with a fresh and friendly decor and atmosphere. Bar staff are brilliant and special word about the new owners who have put so much effort into making this a warm and welcoming pub and of course the lovely Andrea as funny and lovely barmaid

This pub is full of druggies very noisy food is disgusting don't go there, management needs to get his act together. Could be a good pub if he thought about who he is letting in

Just moved to the area, and this pub is up the road from me. This is a great little local pub and chef is Hot on the food😀. I will definitely be returning for my thai green curry😋.

Absolutely disgusting hair all over the carpets mangerest who don’t have a clue what she is doing, 2 staff members who don’t even know how to change a barrel full of druggies and the smell of weed thought that when it was taken over that it would change as used to drink in here years ago when lived in Snodland. Was such a respectable pub. Nice to see 2 of the old staff back trying to get it back up to scratch with little to no help.

Had Sunday lunch with desert and it was very good we hadn't been for 5 months but we will be going again soon.

Had a lovely roast dinner here, plenty of meat and great selection of vegetables. Excellent starter and great dessert. Lee and Lou were excellent hosts. Lovely friendly place.

Terrible! We drank the pub dry of 1.5 bottles of Pinot! No Chardonnay just 2 glasses of rose left!! Bar staff on phone ~ left us standing at the bar.

First time ordering from here. The double bacon burger was absolutely epic, fantastic taste along with the cajun fries and hot n spicy wings. Everything was hot and tasted amazing. You get what you pay for and definitely worth it!

Visited to try the new Monks burger menu, fantastic food, cooked fresh to order, I can highly recommend the Monk Burger, the Jalapeño mozzarella balks and the Kitchen loaded fries which were a revelation. We met the Chef and he demonstrated a real passion for what he does. Genuinely I believe this to be the best burgers in the area and the best I have had in years. Well worth a visit.

Vistors to snodland so this was our first visit. Great pint in a very smart beer garden having been served by really friendly staff. Was "forced" to have a few more just check, yeap 4th was as good as the first first and just as friendly.

The food here is well prepared and cooked, I believe, by the landlady. There is a good selection of beers, wines spirits and soft drinks. The cellar is obviously well managed as the draught beers are fresh and have clearly been pulled thru clean pipes, even the least sold ones

Great pub for a good drink and a laugh with the boys,landlord is a laugh a minute but beware it is a proper pub so there might be the odd swear word or 2.

The barmaid used to be a man who worked at Chatham dockyard as chief stoker on the Medway Queen. She has debag a tiger and lion, and is a dab hand at knee capping. And a good arm wrestler.

Beers ok but place needs a spruce up!

We arranged a birthday bash for my.....whisper it quietly .... 70th .Very simply the pub provided perfect service and support, a stunning buffet, and could not have been more helpful and attentive. They even provided a giant TV and soundbar so my daughter could show a celebratory video and play music. It made my birthday very special and we are very grateful. A big thank you to all.

A great place to spend some time, have a few pints and unwind. There is a dartboard, pool table and a jukebox. Very friendly staff. Great pub in general.

Local pub, great atmosphere and drinks

Makes me feel like I'm in a redneck white Trash bar from back in the States! Incredibly uncomfortable place if you're not one of the locals. The beers are expensive, building smells like mildew and the pool table is lopsided. On both occasions I've been here I was harassed and interrogated by the locals. I would not recommend going to this bar

Great place for socialising and alcohol

Nice pint of cask Pride amidst a range of mediocre beers on tap. There in the afternoon as locals came in after work. Had one good conversation after another. Food stops at 2, none in the evening. Annie was a most pleasant lady behind the bar. Nice little local pub that deserves a better beer range.

Dog friendly pub, staff all very friendly. We sat out the back in the sunshine it was lovely. Pimms was really good. Prices weren't bad at all! Will defiantly return :)

My friend held and event here and it was fabulous! The staff are friendly, bbq was delicious and it is very family friendly. I would definitely recommend it to hold an event or just as a stop off for a pint.

For a tierd traveller in need of bite to eat this place was great, quick, delicious and cheap. My pie and chips cost less than a mac donalds, and I enjoyed every mouthful. Top marks. If I didn't live 220 miles away I might call in more often.
