Good food and service. Service only for 4 start as they didn't have enough staff in a Saturday lunch. Stacey who served us was great but run off her feet!

Rather chilly as so open plan and not enough people.

Update January 2025 Staff as usual very helpful and attentive. Had a breakfast and think they have changed their supplier of sausages which in my opinion are not as good. Update November 2024 Reasonable breakfast for the money, as children eat free. Service was good and friendly. Update August 2023 Had a great wholesome breakfast, staff very good. Update June 2023 Looks like the front entrance has been changed and smartend up. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the vegan sausages were not available. Update March 2023 Took advantage of a 40% off meal deal. Food and service as expected. Had Abbot beer on tap. Great breakfast and very attentive staff. Update December 2022 still have great funny friendly staff.

One chef and one server when we visited. Staff did their best in the circumstances and our server Stacey was great.

triple cooked chips must have been reheated three times, very leathery. chicken fillet dry and overdone, on the plus side, i can't fault the service, it's a shame the food doesn't match the service.

Fantastic service, we had Sue she was a brilliant waitress and we had a great waitress service. The ribs were delicious and came out fast.

We came in as a 3 person table. Sue greeted us and showed us our table. She said there had been a problem with some food items. But we all managed to pick a great meal. Sue was very good, coming and asking how we were all doing. As if we were the only ones there, but in fact the restaurant was quite full and she was like that with every table. Booked a breakfast for the 10.45 sitting on the online booking service. When we arrived was told we should have arrived 15 minutes prior to reservation time although no mention of this online or the confirmation email , I guess you need to be telepathic to know this . I questioned this to be told nothing they could do and kitchens were closed as it was gone 11am , the waitress pointed to the wall clock but it was wrong and 10 minutes fast when we showed our watches with the right time she then said kitchen closed at 10.30. Hugely disappointed with zero information about arriving early and what is the point of offering a 10.45 sitting when it’s obviously unavailable. Wasted time and car journey. Beefeater need to update online booking or sort out kitchen closing up before time because one of them is very wrong. Didn’t like the attitude of staff as implied we were the ones at fault which we were not . Very much put off going to this Beefeater again

What a meal! Our waitress Sue is simply the best. She is excellent, patient, kind and caring. My festive burger was delicious and my tomato soup was very good with the croutons. My profiterole sunday was sweet but irresistible.

I booked a table over the phone, was told nothing about their ‘supplier issues’. Arrived for breakfast and was told there were limits of 2 of everything as they have supplier issues. Bacon was undercooked, hash browns were dry and cold, sausages were cheap and the orange juice tasted like disinfectant. Despite the limitations on quantities for their ‘unlimited breakfast’ and the poor quality of what was available, there was no discount given. We will not be returning.

A party of 11 family members visited to celebrate daughter’s birthday. We were warned in advance that due to a problem with suppliers some food items would not be available. On arrival we were updated on more items being unavailable. However, we visit frequently and were again served by the wonderful SUE! Sue was attentive to all our needs - age of party ranged from 77 years down to 3 years. The food was as always very good and service could not be faulted. Due to a somewhat smaller choice of food available from the menu, all attempts were made to satisfy all of us. Thank you Sue and all the staff. See you next time x

Nice place, friendly welcoming staff however I was disappointed with the food. Had crispy chicken and chunky chips, was overcooked and barely edible with rock-hard coating and very fatty overcooked chips. Was with a large group celebrating a birthday so didn't feel appropriate to raise any complaints whilst in the restaurant. Can't fault the staff - just need to keep an eye on the timer with the food cooking>!

Came in for a birthday meal but left very disappointed. Two out of four steaks were very chewy with lots of sinew. When mentioned to the manager he told me I should have asked for my rib eye well done!! Err, what?! Shocking response from a so called manager. He did take it off the bill but since I didn't eat it I would expect that. And they're not cheap either £21 for a bad piece of meat. Our waitress Sue was amazing though, obviously very busy but still very attentive and charming. I will only attend again if I know she is working and with a 40% off voucher. Not worth it without the discount.

We went for dinner with family visiting from abroad, never in all the years of eating out have we as a family met anyone as friendly and funny as Sue, she is an absolute treasure who had us in stitches laughing….we loved every moment of our experience with her last night, an absolute credit to the establishment…definitely would come back, but she’d have to be our waitress…no one else could measure !

Came for dinner and was seated straight away. Our waitress was sue who was really friendly, nice and very efficient. Took our orders, had a good chat and giggle. She laughed at my terrible jokes lol. Food was spot on and enjoyed a cheeky beer. Great atmosphere, great price, great attitude what more can you ask for?

We came today after the fireworks at brands hatch and what a lovely evening to end a great day! Service was top notch, we had the lovely Sue serve us. ( we go a lot ) and service as always was fantastic. Food was really lovely! Was meant to take picture to make friends jealous but was too excited to eat. We had a good chat and laugh with Sue which was lovely as she had us all giggling. Great staff! Thank you for a lovely evening.

My husband and I popped in as I'd just got back from Ipswich after looking after my grandchildren for 4 days. Easy to book, very friendly welcome and staff were amazing.

We attended this restaurant tonight for a bday meal. We were a table of 6 adults and 6 children. Sue was our server and was very personable, friendly, comprehensive in her service and luckily.... Had the patience of a Saint! As soon as the staff knew it was a bday, they dressed the table for us as if it were a party. Everyone enjoyed their food, and overall it was good value for money. Thank you to Sue, the team and not forgetting the chef for giving us a great evening 😁

Service was amazing. Stacey was really lovely, welcoming and helpful. She was definitely the highlight. Good selection of drinks and herbal teas. They had soya milk which was great. Would be nice to add some soya yoghurt for the continental breakfast. We liked that the cooked breakfast was to order so the food was fresh! Overall a good experience!!

Great food,I would recommend the ribs, gammon steak and the baconeater burger. The lovely waitress called CAROL was amazing very friendly and polite.

Well we're to start first of the manager was in a t-shirt and blue jeans not very professional at all. The waiter we had well if she asked us if are food was OK again I would have cryed I lost count. She walked around with people's drinks not knowing who they were for. My little boy was shocked when she took his plate away just as he put his last bit of food in his mouth. The place is so dirty the walls have food down them and the tops of the picture rales are not good they are so sticky. Not sure the last time that place was cleaned. Are dinner plates were not clean. When we had are starters we got are main and had to ask for cutlery. I could go on and on this place is disgusting and I will never go back and to top it of we didn't really have much and it cost £94 what a joke your better of going to Mcdonald .

Charged £3.90 for a nonalcoholic beer. No alcohol duty should be payable. They charge the same price and the extra goes into their pockets.

If you have a food intolerance do not go to this restaurant. I specifically said I had a dairy intolerance and whatever they put in my food, it 100% contained dairy. I'm in so much pain. I had salmon, I asked for no sauce, I asked if the potatoes were cooked in butter, the server couldn't answer as it's a new menu but I was assured there wouldn't be any dairy in my dinner but there definitely was. I won't be returning that's for sure!

Down, down, down.. i used to rave about this place but its really gone down. The food portions have been slashed, things on menu not available and after all this they have the cheek to ask for a tip. Such a shame..

Had breakfast today 30/06/24 (and other meals too on previous visits)and all ways enjoyed it,nothing is too much trouble,staff are brilliant and attentive,food is good and Emma is brilliant. Will certainly be returning many times .

Stayed at the hotel next door for a few nights and went for dinner both evenings as well as breakfast with my son Charlie. The food was spot on and the service was brilliant. Very big thankyou to Sue for being so welcoming and kind. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

I staying in premier inn just behind the pub , the pub few steps away from the hotel , great atmosphere, good menu , the place is clean , and all the staff are friendly , smiley , polite kind and professional with they work , big portions, I have cheese garlic flat bread for starter and half chicken and ribs for main , no room for dessert, Sue my waitress, she is a benefit for this place , regular customers knows her , and they really like her , she is fantastic, you can see she love her job , Thank you very much ,

Stopped for a quick impromptu meal on a Saturday early evening. Sue our lovely server was fabulous cheery and attentive but not over the top. Food was middle of the road to be honest fillet steak was well cooked but not a great cut of meat. The skinny chips are bit tasteless go for the fat chips! Onion rings were good and the flat bread was enjoyed.

Our family just enjoyed a lovely lunch here. The service was quick, the staff were friendly and the space was clean. A member of our party follows a vegan diet and there was a good variety of options on the menu for them.

I visited with my elderly Mum for a well earned travel break from the M26, We were attended to by Sue who found us a table not too far from the door and with step free access. The food was great, the timing was spot on, and the service excellent without being overbearing. Sue was friendly and chatty and showed a lot of respect and compassion for my octogenarian mum. Do yourself a favour, give service station fast food a miss and head off M26 J2a to the Beefeater 😋

We visited Wrotham Heath Beefeater earlier this afternoon and were served by Sue. She was very friendly and gave us excellent service in all respects.She is a great ambassador for Beefeater . Our meal was of excellent quality and was brought to us in good time by Sue. It was my wife’s birthday so we were able to take advantage of a free main for her from her membership of the Reward Club . Sue brought her a little cake at the end of her meal with a candle on and the restaurant sang Happy Birthday. Well done to Sue and all involved.Very many thanks Sue and Colin Watson
