Your service was unacceptable today. We were treated very rudely, like outsiders and ignored on quite a few occasions. Not only that but discrimination towards a friend of mine who had an accent, that even the waitress walked away from us mid sentence on ordering! It's unprofessional not to be able to accommodate a simple request like splitting the bill. Then saying "I'm too busy, pay and go". When asking the manager politely to follow instructions he refused and said the same thing and rushed off. He kept giving us dirty looks as well. They pretended to not speak English to us and when there were other locals they recognised they spoke to them nicely, but treated us differently. This place shouldn't be open if they can't communicate with people properly We will not be returning due to the poor service and discrimination we received. They were extremely lucky to get £15 out of us... We had the right to not pay after that experience.

Lovely food and lovely people running the pub!

Great little place with secret rear entrance into their outdoor seating area. They normally have at least a couple of vegan options and their staff are always friendly and helpful. Bigger than it looks (two indoor rooms and a part covered outside area with heat lamps and blankets)

We held a family wake here. The service and patience of the staff from begining to end was exceptionl. Catering: Exceptional Staff: Exceptional Venue: Exceptional. Easy parking and access for wheel chair users inside and out. Edenwood worked hard to make what was a hard day easy, they took away all the stress. I want the staff to know that their hard work and approach was very much apprtecuiated.

The flat white coffee here is excellent - the coffee is full of flavour and the milk is foamed to a lovely consistency. I'm very fussy about the quality of my coffee, so it's really nice to find a local, independent café serving quality food & coffee. On both visits, the cheese scone / cake was delicious. All the cakes look fabulous! The seating and atmosphere here is really lovely with a very friendly vibe!

Went here for brunch. 2 young girls serving. Table cleaned with what looked like a dirty tea towel. Ordered our breakfasts. Daughter ordered an oat milk latte and it wasn’t a latte when it came out. Breakfasts had a funny taste. Lots of burnt bits, bacon so crisp and burnt not pleasant to eat. It seemed like they’d been cooked in a dirty pan. Egg overcooked, no runny yolk. It’s a shame as it was always good. Would have said something but the guy was taken outside by another customer who I think was also complaining.

Great food in the country park cafe. Shame it was very rainy, but that is not thier fault.

A lovely place to unwind with a friend.

Great cafe with a good selection of food. Two cosy back rooms, one with plenty of toys for children to play with. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Also outdoor seating a nice children's play area.

In a word, Disappointing. This was our first visit, having had word-of-mouth recommendations. The waffles were not as pictured - much smaller and a bit flavourless. Ice-cream portions were tiny. Unfortunately we couldn't try much else - no cakes available, no hot puddings like apple crumble etc, and less than half the listed ice-cream flavours were available - on a Saturday afternoon! The two guys behind the counter seemed disinterested. It definitely was not an "award-winning" experience. We wouldn't go again.

Best place to eat, meet and have a great time anytime of day or night

Been here multiple times over the last few years and enjoy it every time. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the cats are clearly well cared for an happy in the environment.
