Visited today for a Sunday Roast and had pork belly and beef. Beef was so tender that it broke away with no effort of a knife and pork belly was cooked perfect with lovely crispy skin! Had a good variety of veggies and the potatoes were delicious! The staff are lovely and welcoming. All round, I can't fault it and we will definitely be returning.

1st time at the Watermans Arms today for a family roast. Food was really lovely👍 Nice atmosphere with really friendly staff. Highly recommended 😁

Wow! What an amazing pub run by the loveliest of people. We had my birthday meal here, before the food had officially started. The service was amazing, the food was to die for and the whole atmosphere was so welcoming and enjoyable! We will all definitely be back!!!

Visited with a large group for a family get together. We prebooked a table for Sunday lunch. Between us we ordered variations of the Sunday roast, the pork belly was a popular choice so was limited but we were able to add another meat so none of us missed out. Very generous portions and very tasty, nice home cooked style. Had great banter with the lady that cooked it.

Sunday roast for the four of us ..excellent roast beef, tastt turkey and pork belly with crackling- just wonderful. As my father-in-law said he was " impressed with the generosity of the vegetables"...and he wasn't wrong,! Such great value and such a consistently high standard. A great Sunday lunch!

Quirky little pub, went to a ska gig in the garden. Thoroughly enjoyable and discovered Spitfire lager and an edible pizza (I'm not a fan of pizza)

We had a great couple of days there food was great the music on Saturday was great and so was the landlord and landlady

We popped in early one Saturday evening. There were a few people at the bar, who we presumed we're local and a few people seated. We were served with our drinks and went and sat down. I wouldn't say it was unwelcoming but we weren't made to feel welcome if that makes sense. We both said it has huge potential and I have heard since our visit it has new tenants in there. I really hope they make a go of it.

Found this little gem of an oldy worldy pub in a quiet back street of London. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Booked a table in the garden (sheltered) table wasn’t available. One then became free which we were allowed to use, nothing was wiped down for us prior. No staff wearing face masks either. Food arrived (chips & pizza) chips were in a polystyrene take away pack. Why? Why not use a bowl? Not very sustainable and surely not cost effective! Pizza arrived in a take away box too, never booked for lunch and had things arrive in take away. Pizza was very nice which made up for it! But over all not overly impressed.

Just had an amazing takeaway pizza from The Waterman’s Arms! They were absolutely delicious, gorgeous flavours and ready in 15 minutes! Forgot those big pizza franchises, get your pizza (and lovely chips) from the Waterman’s! Will be ordering again very soon! ❤️❤️❤️

Ordered two take-away pizzas for dinner tonight, a Nice & Spicy and a Rock The Parma, both were delicious, they were ready on time and the staff were really friendly when we went in to collect. We’ll be back again for sure!!

A friendly family pub with a lovely garden and a nice pint of Shepherd Neame. But tonight we came for the pizza, and very nice it was too. With a choice of about a dozen pizzas, including a spicy one, vegetarian, margarita and salami, there's probably something for everyone. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

We are locals and booked our first Sunday lunch since the Watermans has changed hands. We really enjoyed our meal - I had beef, my partner chicken, both served with lovely roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, roast parsnip and carrots with lots of gravy (I asked for extra). Nice atmosphere. We didn't have desserts as full up. Well done, keep up the good work, we will be back!!

Booked a table for six, four weeks ago for my 60th Birthday, when we got there they didn’t have any record of it at all. No one else was eating there it was a total let down. They said they could push some tables together and open the kitchen but it didn’t seem right we would be the only ones there eating. Would not recommend this place at all. Went to the White Hart in Cuxton and had a lovely meal.

Visited here on Saturday afternoon with family. We all had a meal and drink, very reasonably priced. The food was really good, the staff where friendly. Loved the interior, reminded me of a proper old school Victorian Saloon

We ate here on a Sunday with my 93 year old mother . The staff were friendly and the food was served promptly I had the lamb which was cooked to perfection as did my mum The plate looked over crowded - which would be my only bad comment but it was all well cooked and served with plenty of gravy I had the cheesecake which was also delicious The final bill was a pleasant surprise and represented outstanding value for money We will definitely return and will not hesitate to recommend it . Booking is a must as it got full very quickly

after visiting the Waters Edge by the cinema (understaffed) and the dirty Wetherspoons in Chatham I remembered how good this place is- lovely food, lovely service- nice pub. Wish I lived in Wouldham!

Just visited the once so far. This was for drinks while 60s rock band Wily were playing. However, impressed with the really friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices and pleasant staff. May well be back for eats sometime!

This is another of my favourite locals. Great selection of Shepard Neame ales, cheers, wines, soft drinks.

Anyone is welcome in this lovely pub and the food is second to none. If you are looking for a proper home cooked roast dinner that you don't have to cook on a Sunday, this is where you need to be. The staff are the nicest bunch and this is always a fun place to be.

Another amazing meal at the Watermans! Very generous afternoon tea with scrummy sandwiches and delicious home made cake and scones!! Can’t wait to come back again and so reasonable in comparison to local pubs/cafes!

Absolutely bloody lovely! Arrived without a booking and was lucky to get in. Meal was delicious with Brussels in summer! Lucky us!

Having found out recently I am gluten intolerant every trip to a restaurant can be an adventure, particularly local pubs. However Mandy was great, offering excellent meals to suit my allergy and even advised they do gluten free roasts complete with gluten free yorkshires and gravy and sticky toffee pudding.

Visited the watermans with a group of friends to celebrate two friends birthday. Food was absolutely spot on! Mandy the landlord does an awesome brussel sprout, just ask! P.s. Brussels already eaten!

Lovely pub great food enjoyed the company of everyone and made you feel welcome. Bouncy castle was a good touch for the kids and the Caribbean night packed the place out great fun

Well, what can I say, the ploughmans was beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of cheese, ham, salad and really tasty bread, complete with pork pie. Lovely touch having the pickles and colslaw on a separate serving dish.

Had a fillet steak and it was excellent, cooked to perfection by Mandi. All my group had excellent food and well served drinks by Alan. Cannot recommend enough for the food and ambience.

Had THE most lush Ploughman's. Lots if cheese, lovely bread and a salad to die for, did I mention the pork pie and pickles???!!!!

I have reviewed The Watermans before, but the old saying "You cannot have too much of a good thing" holds true. We arrived for a 2.30 lunch as a party of four, and we were shown to our table within minutes of getting our drinks.

Enjoyable meeting place and friendly atmosphere! We all had the Sunday roast, a choice of beef, Turkey or pork with all the trimmings. My dinner was plentiful and most of us cleaned our plates! The only small criticism was that it could have been served hotter.

My husband and I went to the Waterman's Arms to meet a friend of ours and have Sunday lunch for the first time. We did not book and it was quite busy. We only had to wait about half an hour before we were given one of the best, if not the best Sunday lunch we have ever eaten out. My husband and I had turkey and our friend had beef. Huge portions of beautifully cooked food. We were even given a sample of the belly pork to try because we had not ordered it......I have never tried better crackling!!!!! To be honest , I don't usually like it, but it was crunchy, tasty and not a danger to your teeth. Our meals had a good portion of meat and there must have been at least 6 different vegetables excluding the potatoes..... It was awesome and excellent value; which surprised me because I never thought to go there for Sunday lunch before. This place is definitely worth a visit and we will definitely be returning. My compliments to the chef.

This is an unprepossessing pub from the outside, but is quite pleasant inside. In many ways, the classic village pub in a small community. As obvious visitors, we were made to feel very welcome, as the staff and a couple of locals joked with us. We weren't sure at first if the "kangaroo burger" and "crocodile burger" on the menu were for real! But they were! We went for the kangaroo, and very much enjoyed it. At only £8, this seemed good value. We'll try the crocodile next time.There is a good selection of interesting Kentish beers. They appear to have a good programme of social activities. Well worth a visit if you're between Medway and Maidstone some time.

booked sunday lunch at this fantastic pub, great location, very friendly atmosphere and staff the food was amazing, we had sunday roast got to be the best roast dinner we have had, great selection of vegetables as well as meats, good size portions and when served was pipping hot, had baileys pannacota for dessert was to die for, first time here would thougherly recommend it.

Found this lovely pub on trip advisor. The reviews were spot on. Really nice friendly atmosphere and well laid out. The food was fantastic,probably the best Sunday roast my wife and I have ever had in a restaurant. The quality continued with the deserts but the biggest surprise was at the end....the bill,so reasonable. Thanks to all at the Waterman.
