This is the most amazing place always good service and very pleasant staff Until today, your team today have sadly let you (apart from one young lady) The ice cream was slow which was fine on such a busy day.The other staffs attitude was not anywhere near you usually standard I was called babe,when they had obviously missed an order for a family there did not seem to be an obvious apology,they just spent time trying to find where they had written. I am truly sorry to write this because I'm a great fan of your cafe

I stopped here today 11/8/24 as was in the area been before this time I went for a bacon roll and a coffee what a nice place fantastic food all cooked fresh the girls do a fantastic job the place is very clean even do doggie biscuits for your four legged friend prices are good park the car for 2.00 for four hours great value for money the walk in to town or around the lake there is a kids place area too there and loos all kept clean great place to take kids in summer holidays do ice cream there as well hot and cold drinks all with a warm wellcome the young lady with glasses is nice lots of banter all friendly so thank you girls for a great snack love mr cheeky in Kent Glen 100/100 stars

I Love Cafe in the Park 😍 they are always friendly and welcoming food is good quality at a fair price. Tilly is a huge fan of their homemade dog biscuits.

Lovely food and drinks, staff are very pleasant and kind. Based in a good dog walking area. Downside is when it's busy it took me about 15 minutes to get a coffee so more staff needed at peak times (Sunday for me) . But an amazing haven for food and drink..has seating as well.

We came here after a walk in the park. Ordered cake and cookies. Both were tasty. Although we didn't order any cooked food, the breakfast baguettes that other people ordered looked good. Cards accepted.

Easily the best bacon & egg baguette I have ever eaten: good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Also have numerous options for vegetarians and vegans. Friendly and personable staff, and a perfect location for dog walkers, cyclists and others. I will definitely pay a return visit when next staying in the area,

Brilliant. New owners have made a good start. GF bun and GF burger were yummy. Partner had burger too, but said the bun was a bit doughy. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Lovely hot rolls, bacon, egg and sausages ( korkers mmm ) queue can be big sometimes so a bit of a wait.

Brilliant food well presented, bacon baguette was one of the best I have ever had, superb.

Great sausage in roll, great hot chocolate sadly cake disappointed, looked like it had plenty of icing and jam as you could see it on the outside, however inside, hardly anything. A bit like super market sandwich where all the fillings put to the outside to see. So, I'll definitely be back for hot dogs, not the sponge cake.

Nice little cafe well situated to serve the nature reserve. Friendly staff and a wide range of food and drink to purchase. Prices are fair especially given the captive audience. Queues can get a little long when it’s busy but that’s to be expected from a small cafe.

Best burger ever - and it happened to be vegetarian!! Chickpeas and aubergine homemade burgers, do not miss whether you’re veggie or not!!

Delicious home made Keralan curry soup, such lovely menu choices alongside the usual bacon/sausage rolls. Really nice pumpkin and peanut butter dog biscuits too.

Don't be fooled by its modest appearance, this is so much more than your run-of-the-mill cafe. The Cafe In The Park serves quality, giant-sized bacon / sausage / breakfast baguettes, all freshly cooked to order and the best I've tasted in a long while. Seating is all outdoors, so very dog friendly. There's a reason that I often see a queue at this little cafe and that's because local folks surely must know how good it is.

Simple. But spot on every single time. Sounds silly, but so many places get it so wrong. We visit most weekends and every time we say, you just cannot beat it. The perfect start to most Sundays haha

After a 7.5 mile walk our walking group decided to visit Cafe in the Park for well earned refreshments. Result!! Best cup of tea out of a cardboard cup I have ever had!! ....and we all agreed the food was the best too. Friendly service,hot food freshly cooked. Highly recommended.

After a 7.5 mile walk we decided to call in on The Cafe in the Park and received a very warm friendly welcome. We ordered our food and were offered cushions to sit on while we waited for our food. When the food arrived we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality, my burger was delicious and the tea was nice and hot. I walk all over Kent and often use this type of establishment and I would rate this as most probably the best I've ever used.

Their breakfast baguettes are the stuff dreams are made of. My son and I are always excited about coming here when we visit Haysden. Just prepare for a wait as the queue is often very long....but it's worth it.

Very friendly and good cheeseburgers. A decent price too. Worth leaving the (perfectly nice) seating area for a thirty second walk under the railway bridge, to eat your food sat overlooking Barden Lake.

Quick and easy after you’ve park before you go for your walk.

We only actually needed drinks - but the menu for all sorts of food looked great. Plenty of seating and decent loos. I like the way that the tables leave space for wheelchairs/pushchairs etc. I DID notice a cupboard near the counter purporting to contain cushions - but the top shelf was empty and the 2 doors below it were locked. Do hope this offer still stands - though I appreciate the huge theft risk and cafe staff probably too busy to keep tabs on them.

Amazing stop off in this Country Park outside Tonbridge. The Cafe provided exactly what we asked for with no hassle, eg a burger but no bun - they just used a plate instead. Meant no waste. Definitely stop there again if driving that direction.

Really friendly service and good food which saw us through a long hot walk. The boys had massive yummy hot dogs with proper sausages, and my cheese burger with chilli sauce was delicious. Home baked bread pudding and banana bread for even more carbs, then back at the end of the walk for some frozen yoghurt. The two guys in there were polite and patient, especially considering the heat and queues. Great service, thank you.

I walk miles to get to this cafe just for the food. It's freshly cooked with friendly service and even in lockdown you can find somewhere to sit by the lake as you take a breather.

Excellent sausage & bacon rolls plus numerous other delicious dishes. Good that they cater for coeliac sufferers. Combined with walking our dog and sometimes grandchild round the lovely lake, it's well worth the drive out.

Visited here whilst on holiday in August 2020 and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were reasonably priced too. Picnic benches were also available. Highly recommend.

I'm a regular here but the food is always amazing and well worth a visit. Choice of freshly cooked hot food (Sausage/Bacon/Egg Baguette or Rolls) and always amazing choice of tasty home made cakes. Great coffee, cold drinks and loads of different ice creams & lollies (in the summer).

We visit most Sunday mornings. We park up by Tonbridge swimming pool and walk our dog (about 30 mins) through Tonbridge Park, along the Medway out to Barden Lake. It’s a beautiful walk and the best bit is breakfast at The Cafe in the Park! The coffee is really good and then the bacon & onion baguette is delicious! Crispy bacon and lots of it with homemade BBQ sauce. The cakes and biscuits are all homemade as well! The setting is lovely with cushions available if the benches are wet or cold! Highly recommended. Kelly and Martin work so hard to make it the success it is.

Expectations were not high, from a cafe/tea room in a Park, this café raised those expectations,ordered home made soup and roll, and a toasted Pannini, both excellent very tasty, hot, and tastefully served up, and very reasonably priced will definitly come again when in the area.

I can’t recommend this cafe highly enough. The the homemade veggie burger with homemade chili sauce was delicious and my son said that if you served the cheeseburger on a plate with the bun at a jaunty angle you would pay twice as much in an indoor cafe. They also sell an unusual and appealing selection of homemade ice lollies. We tried orange; blackberry and yogurt; avocado chili and lime; and strawberry and cream - all delicious! As long as you wear the right clothes and it isn’t raining, the outdoor seating provides a lovely eating environment. The perfect cycling lunch destination.

Had a lovely veggie burger here which was homemade and delicious. Great homemade chilli sauce to accompany too. Good choice of hot drinks and ice creams as well. Also had a lovely ‘healthy chocolate ice lolly’ which I highly recommend!

Friends and I walk our dogs early every Monday morning and stop at this lovely cafe for a delicious coffee and sometimes breakfast at 8am. Food is cooked to order and is served with a smile. 10/10... and a great way to start the week!

Kelly and Martin work so hard and have turned this place around. They make nearly all of the food by hand and the portion sizes can be stunning! We regularly bring friends here for brunch. My favourite is the veggie burger, with Martin's home made chilli sauce - warning, it can be fierce!

Great hidden gem on the outskirts of Tonbridge. All food is cooked to order so you have to wait a bit. Sausage in baguette is the order of choice for our family. Great after a walk or cycle round Haysden Park.

What a lovely quaint spot to rest after a beautiful walk around the park! Cafe in the park serves hot chocolate which is out of this world! It is served with cream and marshmallows and beats costa hands down. Brilliant homemade food and service with a smile! Delicious! Will definitely be returning. Thank you.
