The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in The Vale of Glamorgan South East

We had a lovely meal here. All our food was deliciously cooked and well presented.. We were impressed with the three course children's menu. It was very good value and great they could have a half portion of the main course from the adult menu. My grand daughter tucked into her pasta dish and really enjoyed it 🙂

This place is fantastic, lovely ambiance, great view and fab food. A great place to stop for breakfast, lunch, coffee &cake, we've been here for all of the above. After a lovely walk on the beach we stopped in for breakfast, the eggs Florentine was fabulous, great quality sourdough, perfect poached eggs, you get the picture. My husband's tuna melt panini was so good I had quite a bit of that too! Despite coming for breakfast, the cakes were so enticing we had a second coffee and a slice of cake too! I had a really hard job choosing between 6 different AMAZING looking cakes. I can tell you the coffee&walnut and the biscoff sponge were awesome. I would give this place 6 or 7 stars if I could.

Great breakfast and very reasonable price

We've eaten here twice recently; vegan burger is great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cowbridge.

My parents booked this 6 weeks in advance for a family dinner The restaurant was far from busy near empty ..Ordered at 1:15 …the starters turned up at 2 o’clock ..45 mins later it took the staff a further 30 minutes to clear the table after eating …the bar staff do the table service so if the bar is busy the restaurant is on stop and the food goes cold ..45 mins after the starter the mains course turns up 3 .oclock 2 hours in the venison was off the menu …they run out of steak on a bank holiday on a sat afternoon..no steak for the sat night sitting …the steak I ordered turned up it was more like a burger than a steak …I complained..the barmaid . Come waitress said I can change it ..but it would be a while ..I laughed there’s no one in here it shouldn’t take long to cook a steak …you know we been sat here 2 hours …her reply well you did have starters ……I eat the steak out of embarrassment of making a justified complaint turning into an Argument…I didn’t bother with desert by this time we were 2 hours plus sitting down …the food hygiene rating is 3 ……avoid this restaurant at all costs

A nice cafe with food, I visit reasonably often with my grandparents. Last time I checked it is cash only, but the food was quite nice and adjustable.

I really like the coffee here , but the problem is it doesn't open often enough , quite often if I go there it's closed up. So please check first if you intend to go.

Happy days is a regular visit for myself and friends. Debbie is the most friendly proprietor and always has a chat and time for you. The tea is in old fashioned teapots and lovely china teacups. There is a great selection of homemade cakes and scones . I haven’t had lunch there , but seeing others eating has made me Hoping to do it soon. Bacon rolls and corned beef pie look delicious. Always a delight to go there

Called in for my daily fix. Can’t beat a good cup coffee. Nice place with good staff will definitely go back when in cowbridge

The food is outstanding also very delicious desserts! The staff are kind and friendly. I really enjoyed the banana milkshake when I visted.

What a lovely local pub. About 12 of us descended on it for st Patrick's day. Locals were really friendly and there was a great selection of beer. Well worth a visit ,👍👍

I often pop in here with my daughter who absolutely loves the thick choc shake and very much enjoys the sandwiches, all the food we've tried here has been delicious and the staff are always so friendly and helpful, I'd recommend that anyone who may be passing by to stop in for a bite to eat and a cuppa.
