happy days in The Vale of Glamorgan

Happy days is a regular visit for myself and friends. Debbie is the most friendly proprietor and always has a chat and time for you. The tea is in old fashioned teapots and lovely china teacups. There is a great selection of homemade cakes and scones . I haven’t had lunch there , but seeing others eating has made me Hoping to do it soon. Bacon rolls and corned beef pie look delicious. Always a delight to go there

Went for lunch which was delicious, no room for so we had a look round the antiques and collectables to digest our lunch a bit, to make room for tea and cake! The cakes are delicious, homemade by the owner and spoilt for choice. The food is real food, well prepared and presented, I had steak pie, mushy peas and gravy (I declined the mashed potatoes, the pie and peas was more than sufficient), my wife had a large bowl of excellent butternut squash soup, also delicious. The shop itself is a real Aladin's Cave with all sorts of antiques, collectables, hand crafted etc.

We love visiting this lovely tea room in Happy Days vintage & antiques centre in Cowbridge. The owner Debs is a lovely lady, always happy & smiling, the food is delicious and great value for money. We would definitely recommend trying her delicious pate.

We love visiting this lovely old building in Cowbridge so much to see, it’s an Aladdin’s Cave. Good collection of vintage and retro furniture and gorgeous hand made gifts. We always stop for a bite to eat in the tea shop, the owners a lovely lady who greets us with a smile and good service. The food is delicious served up on lovely china plates, Mmmm… a little gem. Well worth a visit. ***

Visited the Happy Days Vintage Homestore and cafe. Fabulous aladdin's cave full of a collection of vintage, retro & antiques. Local artwork & hand crafted gifts at reasonable prices. Cafe selling traditional food, my partner had Cornbeef & potato pie which was delicious.

Quirky and fun. Simple food, well prepared. Service with a smile and a helping hand. Pop in for a sandwich or a drink and a cake. We always go here when we are in Cowbridge. I get a coffee while my wife looks at the stalls. Then we eat.

I love looking around here, all the different stall holders antiques etc had some great stuff from here especially love the toy stand. The staff who make the sausage sandwiches are a delight .. love the place

What a fantastic little find with lots of retro and vintage goods on sale. Brilliant little cafe inside selling gorgeous cakes and scones. Staff there are super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Perfect for dog lovers too as Debs in the cafe goes out of her way to welcome you all.

Went for lunch staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Even moved tables for six of us to sit together Had sandwiches which came with salad and crisps and were very nice. The prices were very reasonable as were the pots of tea we had. Will certainly be back

What a lovely place to browse or to stop for a slice of cake and a pot of tea. Plenty to see and the staff friendly with plenty of stories to charm the fmily

There's some lovely little stores in here, filled the brim with all sorts of interesting finds but ... after you've exhausted yourself on that ... well worth a cream tea in the cafe. Absolutely lovely and such nice service. Tea in the traditional way! 👍

Such a lovely venue. Not a plate nor cup matches, but goodness me. Lunch was amazing. The food is really good the staff are so bright and cheerful. It really is a gorgeous experience. You must visit if you are in Cowbridge.

Went in to have a look around this vintage homestore and discovered this delightful little homecooked eaterie. The menu is quite basic but the food is delicious. I chose the Welsh Rarebit which was served with a salad and slaw and my friend opted for the Cottage Pie with mash and veg. Just the place when visiting Cowbridge to do a little shopping and to stop for a bite to eat. Will visit again in due course.

This is one of our favourite places to visit in Cowbridge especially on a rainy day. There are loads of vintage stalls with a huge range of items and there always seems to be new stock that is reasonably priced. We're picked up many bargains over the years. We love the cafe and often come as hubby fancies faggots and peas and I really love the freshly made scones. The staff are really friendly and don't mind my toddler causing havoc, it's also nice that they welcome dogs and provide drinking water for her.

My husband was tempted by the corned beef pie special, we will be back. Very nice friendly cafe, good service and fab home cooked food and cakes. I had the turkey and stuffing sandwich, very good.

Siendo una mezcla de muebles antiguos, curiosidades y jardín muebles, Días Felices es un lugar donde se puede pasar un muy feliz. Comience su visita con un excelente desayuno servido por los más felices que he conocido en persona. Esta señora es una ventaja para el establecimiento.

Me encantan sus Faggots y guisantes blandos con salsa. Yo realmente no quiero decirle a nadie y a tener mi secreto porque puede vender rápidamente. Sirve en un plato con pan y mantequilla. Sólo puedo describirlo como una sopa, que no ha sido estaba liquidada. Es genial para un día de calor y los inviernos, abundante y excelentes para probar. La zona de comedor está rodeado de puestos que venden todo tipo de cosas hechas a mano, coleccionables, etc. El mobiliario es una colección de moda de miss sillas y mesas coinciden. El equipo es muy amable, la cocina es pequeña pero no afectan nada, simplemente un guiño a lo que son capaces de cocinar un espacio pequeño. El lugar es inusual, pero divertido y agradable.

Dentro Emporium Feliz vintage hay un café pequeño y encantador. Gran selección de tartas caseras y mucho más, lo suficiente para satisfacer cualquier apetito.

We love it here for lunch or just tea and cake. Debbie, the owner is very friendly, and the food is good cafe grub. She does a great value breakfast until 1pm. Good value sandwich. Home made soups, pies etc. Home made cakes. Best pot of tea in town. Set in a antiques/ vintage outlet, which has lots of interesting stalls to browse. We are there at least a couple of times a month for lunch or a cuppa.

Este es un lugar pequeño y encantador de parada para tomar café o comer está en el corazón de una tienda de antigüedades y se sirven sándwiches mano buena tarta llevar el personal es muy amable y servicial, el estar cómodo y realmente te sientes puede relajarse. He tenido las tartas y los bocadillos y que han sido siempre de primera clase. La plowman también parece muy bueno. Vale la pena una visita.

Días Felices es un firme favorito de la mía. Soy local de Cowbridge y he trabajado en varios comercios a lo largo de los años. Me encanta coger un bocata rápido de llevar bacon como un regalo Días Felices cuando estoy trabajando pero me encanta aún más cuando me dan la oportunidad de tener una nariz alrededor de la tienda y asentarse para una taza de café y un tentempié o pastel. Último fin de mi amigo y yo tuvimos una comida estupenda. La fuente plowman era enorme, con cuñas de queso y macizos de buena relación calidad-precio. El personal es siempre muy hablador y simpático y la comida muy sabrosa. El café es un poco amargo para mí, pero eso es sólo una preferencia personal. Recomiendo una visita.

Paramos en Cowbridge tener un vagar por el bonito centro de la ciudad. Nos tropezamos con Happy Days y decidimos tomar una taza de té. El té se convirtió en 3 tazones de sopa deliciosa y suculenta cálida se sirven con pan encantador seguido de una buena taza de chocolate caliente. Perfecto para unos inviernos día. El lugar es encantador, la gente que trabaja allí es agradable y el ambiente perfecto.

Trip back in time, wonderful displays, bought a few things at reasonable prices. excellent cup of tea and cake, well worth a visit

This is a gem of a place full of interest . There is an eclectic mixture of stalls offering something for everyone . If you are looking for an interesting piece of furniture for your home or a one off gift this is the place to visit . The staff are helpful and informative and there is an atmosphere that makes you want to browse . A super coffee shop with home made cakes . I've yet to walk out without buying something lovely

Always call in here for a nostalgic cuppa and tea cake - served with a smile love the atmosphere here and I feel is a must for anyone visiting Cowbridge

This is the place to indulge yourself, and wallow in great pools of nostalgia. It has an amazing range of items for sale, too many to list, including replica toys, teddies, period clothing, ceramics and a huge collection of vinyl and other music. The entrance is packed with interesting plants and garden products, and there is even fresh eggs for sale, and if it is your fancy to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, with one of the tempting fancies on display then go for it.
