Enjoying coffee ☕ but didn't realise dog's were allowed

Delicious food. Definitely worth 5 stars.

I ordered a larger breakfast and I got 2 bacon 2 eggs 1 sausage and 7 small bits of mushroom, appalling, photos show what I ordered and what arrived

Work in a local GP surgery and almost always come here for lunch jacket potato cheese and Beans served with fresh salad is my go to, can't fault the service. Very friendly staff. I feel home that's why keep coming back. Thank you so much team ceaser 💕

Popped in here for a hot chocolate as it is the best in Barry! Staff are so friendly, lots of seating inside and tables and chairs outside too. I haven't eaten in here yet so can't comment on the food but the coffee and hot chocolate are lovely! ☕😊

Very beautiful and above all very good experience!

Extremely rude staff member. Made a big fuss about me asking for sugar to be put into the espresso while being made (as I was only having warm milk). “WE make the coffee. YOU put the sugar in.” She was probably in a mood after being told to stop cleaning a microwave and to serve waiting customers instead.

Great staff and great atmosphere

Always nicely busy, always friendly, always good. Today I had coffee and a custard pastry. The pastry was properly warmed, not microwaved, and it absolutely hit the spot. I will always go here and support them, rather than go to Costa.

Had a jacket potato with cheese & beans. Loved it!

A very friendly café. Situated in the town center with indoor and outdoor seating. A comprehensive menu covers all day dining. The food is freshly prepared so expect to wait a little during busy times. Our breakfasts were substantial, well cooked and served. The cafe also does take away food and deliveries. The toilets are clean and there is plenty of hot water. The cafe is close to free parking , numerous shops, banks and other eateries. It is open on Sundays.

Beautiful coffee and tasty food all served quickly and with a smile! We sat outside and it felt like we were on the continent, with the sun shining and the very attentive staff bustling to and fro.

I took my elderly mum (82) and her friend for lunch. I ordered and awaited for the food to come. Whilst waiting another customer came accompanied by a lady and a dog. The dog immediately sat on the cushioned bench seats along side us. I was astonishing as it was a lovely day and there was seating outside. The people next to us them moved along the cafe to another seat again the dog sitting on a seat. I asked the waitress if she was going to clean the seat that the dog had sat on. She was very vague. This cafe does not state that it is pet friendly, even so the dog should have been on the floor. My mums friend is allergic to dog which I brought to the attention of the waitress. Nothing was done. We left having no finished our food. I would not recommend this cafe. Obviously this is a cross contamination offence with food and hygiene

Gorgeous Coffee! Best place at Barry Town for a Coffee Break! I have been before with family and had the fresh baguettes that are made to order and they are delicious! Every ingredient is Fresh! Will definitely go again when in Barry.

Absolutely brilliant breakfast.

I often pop in here with my daughter who absolutely loves the thick choc shake and very much enjoys the sandwiches, all the food we've tried here has been delicious and the staff are always so friendly and helpful, I'd recommend that anyone who may be passing by to stop in for a bite to eat and a cuppa.

Staff are great and you can custom make your order. I always feel looked after here.

Been to the cafe many times in the past and every time has been a lovely breakfast. But delivery was cold and the breakfast was nowhere the quality as you get in the cafe. Quiet disappointing

Ordered one of the christmas lattes which looked good on the menu with cream sauce and toffee pieces on top. Recieved drink and it was just a normal coffee. Cost more than starbucks and costa aswell. Wont be back. Awful.

Friendly coffee shop, quirky with friendly staff.

Hands down the best breakfast in Barry. Good quality products, cooked perfectly and not swimming in grease like so many other places. Food is hot and nicely presented. Nice decor, always clean. Lovely atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and seemingly happy in their work, which is a good sign. The only criticism I have is the tiny table right at the back near the toilets. Caesar’s gets busy, rightly so, it’s a lovely place to dine but no one wants to eat their meal in close proximity to a toilet. The person in the toilet does not want diners in close proximity of them. I have sat at this table before, popping in at peak time, ravenous. It did ruin the experience for me, which is a shame. In future if there isn’t space near the front I’d decline. I’d still have to say 5 stars based on everything else, because it is deserving.

Went there today, ordered two teas and two scones. Two glass mugs of tea arrived, then a few minutes later we had the milk, but the scones never arrived at our table!! In the end we had to ask for our scones to take away with us, after all we had paid £10.90 for tea and scones. Terrible service, they just did not seem to understand how to complete a simple order. I would not recommend this place. Very disappointing!!

Nice breakfast not a huge place I alway seem lucky to get a table very friendly staff. You have to order at the till now don't like to leave my stuff unattended but have to to keep my table as I usually eat alone.

I have been having breakfast for a while from here. However the last one I had was very burnt. Also delivery has changed you now have to order in advance which means you now have to know for sure you will be home the next day and hungry at certain time. Anyway I decided to try this and ordered for the next day. (Today 08/07/22). Then I discover they have cancelled my order. No phone call. I was left to discover this for myself. I did mention the burnt breakfast and asked if delivery could go back to how it used to be. I also said im sorry to have a moan but I feel this is important on the note section on delivery site. I found a reply online order cancelled due to note. So if you have any issues or suggestions do not complain or risk getting banned. I am very disappointed in the service not supplied.

I love this cafe. Great coffee, excellent food and the breakfasts are soooo good!

Absolutely disgusting. Saw a girl cough into her hands, so I asked her politely to wash her hands and then denying she coughed into her hands even though I saw it with my own eyes. The owner took offence and decided to lie and say I was rude. Well over priced and disgusting service. Wash your hands should be the norm!

What a welcome! I visited with two Ukrainian refugees & all the staff were so kind to them, we felt humbled by the kindness shown. The food & drinks were perfect. My toast & jam was delicious - lovely think bread already buttered. If you're in Barry I can't think of a better place to visit- amazing food and a wonderful team to care for you. Just perfect!

Good food big portions clean and lovely coffee

Firstly the coffee is awful and not worth the money and qhile I was there they allowed a dog on the premises which in a confined space is unhygienic. I have seen them serve food without gloves and seeing that would never eat there

Excellent Customer Service and all the staff are lovely here this is my new favourite coffee shop been coming now and again since my son was a baby, nothing is to much trouble here , I came here yesterday after the gym for vegan breakfast, Beth was lovely and attentive waitress and very funny she had me in stitches 😀 , I ordered a take away by uber eats last Friday to work it was amazing and nice and warm will be ordering more often to work save me walking and my break will be over by the time I walk and come back haha , 😄

For ten pound a meal I expect my fish to be a considerable amount bigger than I got. Shameful.americano for 3.25? Never again..chips were cold.

Great food and very helpful staff

Until recently I was spending £100 a month there then without warning coffee went up 60p a cup and they stopped honouring the loyalty cards.

Ordered lunch egg chips beans twice £19.98. I did query this as it seemed expensive, but no apparently that was right. Whilst the service and food was very good , £20 for egg chips beans for two seems very very expensive . Don’t think I’ll return

Went to Barry today and went in to this Restaurant and got to say outstanding Food and Great Service check it out if u go to Barry Town 👍

Ordered 2 takeaway sandwiches after 2:30 which was proving tricky to do in the rest of Barry. Both were so full, they were excellent value for money. The bread was delicious, soft but held the sandwich well. The homemade chicken tikka disappeared it was so nice! We also had some homemade coleslaw which was delicious.

Staff are friendly, service is good and prices are fair.

I don’t write reviews very often but thought this place deserved one.We went there 2 weeks ago for the first time.I had the hunters chicken,not a huge fan of hunters chicken but thought I would give it a try.OMG It was delicious.It was absolutely stunning.My wife had chicken curry with a jacket potato.Loads of chicken in the curry and it was very nice.Coffee was also very good.Next time we are in Barry will definitely go there again.The staff were very friendly with a lovely smile.

We dined there today may 19 2021 the food was amazing ,I didn’t want to go there at first because I am such a fussy eater,but I must say the food was excellent,the staff were polite ,the condiments were clean as was the cutlery although I bring my own I was so full at the end I could barely move ,well done to all I will come again one day ,

Went there today with my son we had an amazing dinner ,I was full to bursting, place very clean condiments clean staff very friendly I would recommend this place it is clean friendly affordable and the food is excellent, will go again if we are in the area

I had the best Hunters chicken I have ever had.My wife had J/Potatoe with curry,loads of chicken in the curry.Lovely meal and good service.And they make a lovely cup of coffee.
