We were here for the celebration of my lovely dad's life. Although we were so very sad the surroundings and the way we were looked after was absolutely amazing, helping to ease our pain. Thank you doesn't seem enough for such a wonderful send off .

We visited The Manor today for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My son said his steak was cooked perfectly and my sea bream (recommended by our waiter) was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and his manner was both friendly and professional. He looked after us really well. I’m just really sorry I didn’t ask for his name so I could include it here. We will definitely be returning.

Really charming and quintessentially English shop

Fantastic spot hidden in the marina. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and the view was beautiful, food was excellent and the vibe was relaxed. If only there was a shortcut walk from Caversham to it!

Had Sunday lunch here today in the restaurant, we had the Lamb and the beef both were delicious the vegetables were so delicious especially the Cauliflower Cheese ..without doubt the best Sunday dinner I’ve ever had out.. 10/10 🥳👏👏👏👏👏

Popped in for brunch with friends. Younger staff were great but the middle-aged waitress appeared to have a bee in her bonnet and needs a lesson in customer service I am afraid. Ordered salmon, avocado and poached egg on toast, and there was a long blonde hair in the salmon. One of our group had a chocolate milkshake which tasted like a glass of milk with a spoon of nesquick in. Wouldn’t go back in a hurry given the choice of cafes in Goring I am afraid.

Lovely setting right near the river Panini was delicious and the staff were friendly The food took a while but it was worth it Definitely recommend stopping here

¡Este hermoso pub familiar es una pequeña joya! Es acogedor y acogedor y celebramos la recepción fúnebre de mi padre -en-ley en el precioso conservatorio, que era perfecto para 30 personas. Alan y Wendy organizaron todo, lo que significaba que no teníamos que preocuparnos por nada. El buffet era delicioso, incluyendo quiche casero y bocadillos y el servicio era excelente. Very nice menu, and tasty, but the portions are incredibly small. You don’t even get a whole muffin just half (on eggs Benedict ) More of a treat place than a regular occurrence, purely due to cost. Coffee is lovely.

Consistently good. Freshly cooked light meals, decent coffee and friendly service. Bike parking in the garden too. A great alternative to Riverside nearby

Pasamos unas horas en este pub hoy con la familia. El lugar es muy ambiente y tiene mucho carácter. La bienvenida fue cálida y muy amable, nadie puede culpar de eso. El almuerzo del domingo no fue muy cálido para ser honesto, pero había mucho. Me hubiera gustado que fuera agradable y caliente. Los pudines eran una delicia. Costo £ 200 para 4 personas, dos platos y café con una botella de vino.

Passing by with my wife on our way to get Christmas Tree (which was also excellent quality). Staff were delighted that I was the first customer to try their seasonal Christmas Sandwich; very tasty and reasonably priced - and all supporting a good cause.

Perfect little friendly shop , I actually thought oh I’m really hungry I wonder if thier is breakfast is any good , well what a nice surprise that was , bang on with that 9 out of ten for that one , clean, cooked perfect , presentation spot on , if I had one very slight niggle and it is slight , sausages aret all that , I normally go to buddies cafe by the station in henley and thier bangers are the best I’ve ever had , and I know the get theirs from A&b butchers in Maidenhead , they are catering butchers wholesalers , or it would be 10 out of 10 , just a tip for you , and thank you for the great service and fair price for a top notch breakfast

So disappointed with my last few sandwiches, hardly any filling Anymore just eating bread!!! Will not be returning
