Have visited about 6 times over the past 2 years and now live closer, so no doubt visits will increase! Not a cheap night if you are partial to cocktails but the cocktails are excellent and very moreish! Jen and her team are welcoming and remember their clientele, so you feel very welcome as a returning customer. Plus, good to support independents who add the personal touch and something different in the town.

Good prices and good quality in a nice environment. There seems to be little choice in the area. I haven't tried their chocolate which looks nice...above average coffee

Went on Friday and was very poor ( I said before I wouldn’t go again & wish I hadn’t ). No poached eggs as they were “too busy” & can you believe they’d run out of bread by 2 o’clock? How about you send someone to Waitrose to restock ? Definitely my last visit. Will go to Gail’s or one of the other places . This is a cafe without a toilet that charges top notch prices and doesn’t offer the food or service to match .

Lovely spot to stop on a walk for coffee or lunch or drive there too. It had good outdoor and indoor seating and you’re served from a shipping container on a farm. The food is good and some unusual choices. The service is slow as everything is freshly made so don’t go there when you’re in a hurry!

What's happened to this place? With no notice or explanation this family run, friendly cafe, well needed in Sevenoaks, has become something else entirely. Very disappointing.

We went to see the Bookends Simon and Garfunkel tribute show yesterday. While the act itself was excellent and I'd highly recommend going to see them if you're a S&G fan, the venue was quite disappointing. There is NO legroom at all in the seating. I'm 5ft 6 and hubby is 6ft1 (with back and knee issues but not classified disabled) My knees were pressed against the seat in front and it was really 'snug' and hubby had to move to a (luckily empty) seat in the front row . He said "if that seat hadn't had been available I wouldn't have been able to stay in there" so we spent the evening sitting apart.... The footlights bar had a horrible odor of drains? It hit us as soon as we walked in although wasn't apparent anywhere else in the venue. It was a really nasty sulphur type smell and made sitting in the bar unpleasant. We heard many people commenting on it. The other issue we had was that the concession stand was selling large bags of popcorn and crisps etc. Which in itself I can understand for a children's panto etc but when you're trying to listen to The Sound of Silence with some adult numpty munching a bag of crisps behind your head (because presumably they can't go one hour without eating) it's pretty distracting. I did turn to them and say "please put those away" but it only improved slightly 😔. Rude . DONT allow food in the auditorium would be my advice (rule lol) drinks fair enough, no rustling and crunching there. All in all the act was fantastic. Let down by the venue. Would not book there again unless there was absolutely no other option for a show I wanted to see. It's a shame really as it's an old cinema, and I like to support these types of places but overall not doing the best it could in my opinion.

We decided to visit the Sennockian as we hadn't been before and are 'spoons fans. Very nice pub, the staff were friendly, the food came quickly and was spot on. One of the few I've visited where I didn't have to climb a flight of stairs to visit the loo! We were there on a Thursday lunchtime and it was relatively quiet for the number of people there. All in all a good pub in a town centre.

Yes I discovered that this pub is part of a chain where they all have the same menu and wines! Saying this…this is a nice cosy place near Seven Oaks with also some traditional English dishes (we enjoyed either the fish and chips and the pie!) and more modern offerings. Service is good, food is good the Chablis was cold and…it was raining outside!!!! Perfect for a grey day.

Went into the Halfway house this evening and was greeted by 3 friendly staff members. Had a good chat and they looked after me. A* service, would definitely recommend popping into this pub.
