Lovely spot to stop on a walk for coffee or lunch or drive there too. It had good outdoor and indoor seating and you’re served from a shipping container on a farm. The food is good and some unusual choices. The service is slow as everything is freshly made so don’t go there when you’re in a hurry!

Bland, boring and expensive. Setting was nice but the food was bland and needed jazzing up a bit. A bun on a paper plate was far too mundane.

I have visited Eatnmess a few times now, most recently in the last week. I love the idea of the shipping container and outdoor eating. The place is aesthetically lovely and the baked goods I have tried are brilliant. However, it feels like something is missing. The last two times I have visited (both during the week, not weekend or bank hol) I have wanted to try hot food but been told the waits would be significant, so this has put me off and have stuck with a cake to go. Maybe some cold lunches to go would be a good idea (sandwiches etc). I work nearby and unfortunately waiting 30 minutes for a toastie isn’t doable on my meagre lunch break. Staff are always nice, and honestly seem run off their feet, prices in my opinion do seem on the steeper side (£5 for a crème egg cookie) but nothing we are not used to this close to Sevenoaks unfortunately. Will still continue to visit. Lovely spot on a sunny day and very dog friendly.

Delicious sweet treats for the whole family. As it was our first time there, we all asked for something different so that we could try more of what they have on the menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. What made it special for us is that everything there is gluten-free. Therefore, it was the first time one of my kids (suffering from coeliac) had a real big choice of delicious food, without having to ask about allergens or worry about cross-contamination. Heaven on earth for him! We'll visit this lovely farm regularly from now on.

Popped in to grab some snacks for post dancing treat for daughter. It was super busy but order taken quick enough. I was having a take away and chose a hot drink a cold cake and some toast. Drink was served but several minutes prior to any toast on site. Drink going cold I asked and was told there was a wait (this was ten minutes after my order) asked to take banana toast cold instead as needed to be at collection. Literally chucked at me. No butter on. Paid for butter and toast got dry bit of banana bread thrown in a bag and no apology or acknowledgement that the delay should have been shared at order. To make matters worse when opened to share with daughter two curly white hairs 😫Sadly what should have been a treat was a waste and had to go in bin. Chai was fine if only warm. Hopefully a blip as previously been and good but felt unwelcome and £13 wasted.

After driving past several times, I popped in on Sunday morning to buy my Daughter some GF birthday treats as she is Coeliac. I bought some cookies, cakes and brownies. They are the nicest cakes and cookies I have ever tasted! GF or otherwise. The Pod was really busy too with people tucking in to what looked like delicious GF pancakes and bacon. I am going back to try those for sure. I also had a coffee, which was excellent and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I can't rate this place highly enough and can't wait to go back for Breakfast.

Dear owner, following my review and your response on google, I did not just "storm off". You were not there. The young man in question really ought to learn how to be more positive with your customers; a problem solver maybe rather than "no", or words to that effect, being the first word(s) he says. As for the young lady who had made me what I asked for (with bread rather than what was itemised on your menu), I hope you praised her rather than conveying to her your own obviously very negative attitude, which you, also obviously, convey to your more long standing staff. You have a good rest of day too. Kindest regards, Alison

An absolute 10/10 spot! I used to visit EatnMess when they had a small shop in Sevenoaks and loved it then, but this is the first time I have visited their new location. Their new spot is great - it is an outdoor sort of shack with plenty of seating both outside and also under shelter. Great for dog walkers. Being gluten free makes it so difficult to find places that have sweet options for breakfast/ brunch and so being able to have pancakes is such a blessing! I had the bacon and maple syrup stack which was incredible. Not too much but the perfect amount - you wouldn't even be able to tell that they are gluten free. The coffee is also amazing and they do different types of alternative milks. The friend that came with me was super impressed with their extensive menu selection and said that her tuna on toast was super tasty. A perfect amount of sweet and savoury options. We both bought cookies to take home and are very excited to try them too! The man who served us/ owns the place is also so friendly and welcoming. Couldn't recommend enough! Will definitely be returning soon and will be recommending to friends and family.

This spot came up when I searched for a tea shop. It's just a truck stop! A very nice truck stop, but definitely not the cutesy tea shop experience I was looking for. Avoid this place on a chilly day as it is completely exposed to the elements. Nice coffee, but served in paper cups. Misleading photos on tripadvisor of a lovely cream tea on nice plates...everything is served on paper plates. A perfect Pitstop but nothing more.

I could write a million reviews for EatnMess because they really have the best range of gluten free baked goods and I'm always so excited for when they bring out a new product. They also have good quality coffee (my husband loves his coffee happily has a cup from here) and also a lovely range of other drinks too. My favourites are their red velvet (though it's been a while since I've seen them do their red velvet cake pops, which could just be poor luck on my part) and their toasties. They used to do amazing gluten free cinnamon swirls but they've been off the menu for a while so fingers crossed that they'll pop up again soon.

Me and my family visit Eat n Mess on a fairly regular basis and recently visited the latest opening at SPN. The food and coffee is lovely, the staff generally are lovely too, however the owner who is also the person who runs their Instagram is sooooo miserable in real life and on Instagram. I don’t think there is ever a day she isn’t moaning on there, she never smiles, gets annoyed if customers give any form of feedback, even if it’s constructive and it genuinely makes you not want to give them the business. She appears as though she hates her job and it makes no sense to act in this way when you’re in a customer facing role. Do what everyone else does and moan behind closed doors but be friendly to your customers, smile, be warm and welcoming - she gives you the impression you’ve annoyed her for even being in her presence. A few of my friends follow the account too and everyone has the same view, her attitude has to change otherwise you’ll have no customers one day!

You’re also met with the sight of a good selection of homemade goodies and know at once you’re in for a treat. Pancakes, coffees and juices ordered at the till and delivered quickly and well presented. It’s all very nice and I like that they only take card, too - definitely the way the world is going. A mark knocked for prices which are a bit steep (£4.50 for a single orange juice!) That said, I wouldn’t rule out a repeat visit as a treat.

I stumbled across these guys on Instagram a few years ago after seeing their sign written van and loving the logo! Working in a similar environment and my partner previously owning and running his own coffee shop I knew the hard graft that goes into making the everyday something special which these guys definitely do! I decided that I would buy the brunch reward for 4 as it was helping them to raise money for a designated baking kitchen and was also the perfect excuse to finally try the shop out. It lived up to all expectations. They don’t just make coffee, they clearly have a passion for it, sourcing quality coffee, supporting local dairy farmers and banging latte art. The food is packed with flavour and definitely something for everyone. A great deal of thought and love seems to have gone into the growth of this business and it’s so lovely to see their journey documented in the shop with photos. Every member of the team is so lovely, and although we aren’t weekly regulars (although I would love to be!) there isn’t an occasion where you’re not greeted with a smile. It’s so important to support local businesses in a time of chain eateries, Eat n Mess is the perfect example of what local support can achieve. The coffee tasted lovely but the size of the cup for the price was shocking. The cakes looked nice but £4 for a cookie pie and £3 for a cupcake is expensive for what they are. I'm happy to pay more for some things but I've paid less money for bigger or more indulgent cakes elsewhere so this was off putting for us.

We use Eatnmess regularly. Either my husband when on his own, both of us for coffees and divine cakes while shopping, and family brunches when our sons are in town.

Very nice little cafe. Food was excellent, great coffee, and staff were lovely people. Didn’t try any of their cakes but they looked absolutely incredible. Will definitely return!

Had lunch here today with girlfriends, can highly recommend. Good freshly cooked food, from a light menu, but simple dishes like toasties or avo on toast taken to a new level. Good coffee and friendly service, quiet and well lit environment. Order at the counter and its brought to your table - and the cakes are very good as well. I'll be back.

We have used Eat'n'Mess for our daughter's Christening & Birthday cakes since being recommended the company two years ago. Danielle & her staff have always produced the most amazing looking cakes for us, and they taste equally exquisite. Her salted caramel cupcakes have become a favourite amongst our extended family and friends. We cannot recommend this company highly enough!

First visit with many more to come. Brightly lit from a distance with cakes on display, more than an inviting reason to come on in. Perfect little coffee shop with attention to detail in every way. Pleasing to see not the usual bought in coffee shop cakes and sweet treats. They care about good coffee, weighing the dosage and the Batista producing a perfect layered tulip on a flat white. Toasting marshmallows on top of a hot chocolate very touch indeed. Cleanliness throughout, water jet cleaning the milk jug after every use, fancy.

Eatnmess made our wedding cake for us and it was incredible. Danielle was really patient throughout the design process and the final result was gorgeous. We had a robot themed caked which they managed to make look elegant which was quite a task! The cake itself was delicious - gluten free chocolate ganache cake! I can't wait to have an excuse for them t make me another cake!

A chance visit. A simple breakfast but done well with good produce. We both had smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toasted sourdough bread, 10/10 Staff were very friendly and helpful in sorting out change I needed for the meter ( 9am on a Sunday ....really!!!) councils killing small shopping areas Just go and have a lovely independent business ( Costa have got enough customers) make you a great pot of tea and a slice of cake and leave feed back so I can see what you think. If I’m local I’m back in for scrambled eggs again !!!

A cute setting for a delicious lunch. Lovely, friendly staff. Best coffee I have had in a long time, I had the sour dough cheese and pickle toastie. The description does not do it justice. The crispy bread, the melting cheese with mustard and gherkins was delightful. The cakes looked good, and there was a lovely feel to the place. The mum with three children was made welcome, no fuss. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped here for some lunch as we had seen it when we drove past. Quite small inside but we had a delicious lunch, there was plenty to choose from on the menu. The staff were so friendly and did great considering there were only two of them working! Will definitely come back. Plus the cakes look incredible!

We heard about this place in an Instagram post and saw that it was dog-friendly so decided to take a look. We had to wait a little while as all the seats were taken but it was well worth it. We ordered a toastie and the smoked salmon on toast which were absolutely delicious. We finished off with lemon drizzle and the best loaf cake with a mascarpone cream on the top? I wish I could remember the name! Not only is the food amazing but the staff are so lovely too and made us (including our Schnauzer) feel really welcome. Can't wait to return soon.

I had a gorgeous breakfast here with my daughter today. There were lots of gluten free & dairy free options available I was very impressed. I had the gluten free pancakes & they were lovely but even if you didn’t want/need to go down the gluten free route there are plenty of options.

A nice place to stop for a snack and hot drink if you are shopping in Sevenoaks. Good selection of gluten free cakes - the red velvet cupcake was particularly tasty. Very clever cakes can be ordered in advance for special occasions.

The food is simple, but very reasonable and well done. The coffee is great, much better than the coffee shops in town. The cakes happen to be gluten free, but you wouldn't notice it. Staff are all friendly, and the decor is nice.

Eatnmess looks great, it's a tiny little cool cafe. The staff are friendly and it all looks gorgeous. The coffees are sensational. Very annoyingly the cakes are not quite good enough. I've tried three different slices, and friends of mine have tried others and they've all been a bit dry and not as tasty as they could be. It's such a shame and I hope they can tweak their cake recipes/supplier as otherwise I don't think they'll survive as there are so many other spots in Sevenoaks where there is delicious cake to be had.

Went on Friday and was very poor ( I said before I wouldn’t go again & wish I hadn’t ). No poached eggs as they were “too busy” & can you believe they’d run out of bread by 2 o’clock? How about you send someone to Waitrose to restock ? Definitely my last visit. Will go to Gail’s or one of the other places . This is a cafe without a toilet that charges top notch prices and doesn’t offer the food or service to match .

Lovely garden area, however the food was overcooked to the point where it would have been easier to eat a rock. Completely inedible. They were out of kids burgers so had to purchase an adult 'rock' burger. Chips were like also like little rocks. Ciabatta sandwich was actually a mini French stick - hardly any filling. Emailed the owners to make them aware of the poor quality of food being served, absolutely no acknowledgement.
