The Bull in Sevenoaks

We’ve been coming here for sometime now. Especially excited to try their Festive pizza and boy it didn’t disappoint. We had a great time. Eating, drinking and laughing. The perfect atmosphere

Lovely garden area, however the food was overcooked to the point where it would have been easier to eat a rock. Completely inedible. They were out of kids burgers so had to purchase an adult 'rock' burger. Chips were like also like little rocks. Ciabatta sandwich was actually a mini French stick - hardly any filling. Emailed the owners to make them aware of the poor quality of food being served, absolutely no acknowledgement.

What a lovely gem. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was Great value and Great taste. We can't wait to come back.

Fab pub wirh great food beautiful garden and brilliant staff ..we visited today had a lovely lunch .. sadly one of their customers was taken ill .. the staff were amazing helping where they could .. making the poor lady comfortable until an ambulance arrived .. i do hope she was ok… well done to all the staff involved .. would not hesitate to recommend this pub .. 5 stars all the way … see you soon 😊

Lovely local village pub with a great view from the beer garden which is spacious and kept well good food and beer with a nice and friendly service and good atmosphere.

Came for a few drinks to celebrate a family members birthday. Ended up having food due to the great selection on their menu. Shared a bottle of Prosecco and watched the sunset in their amazing garden. Great village pub. Highly recommended

Good beer garden but food disappointing

This 'Bull' pub in Horton Kirby , is one of the best !!!! , located in the Darenth Valley and with outside garden dining areas, combined with the most stunning sunsets it just has be well l worth a visit. I do notice a few opinions , regarding parking facilities which are worth consideration, but parking is very adjacent in School lane,. and near by estate roads, just a 3 minute walk . The food is just fabulous ! and The hosts Katy & Danny are always on hand to both assist & prepare any thing you require. Highly Recommended ! Pete Mantle. see

Visited for late Sunday lunch. Nice views from large back garden. Food ok to average, much better on offer locally. Pub and facilities not clean at all and in need to tlc in places. Not recommended.

It was quite nice here. There is no parking next to it and we had to walk for 5 minutes from our parking spot. The garden has a lovely view and is a good spot to watch football. The food was average the roast beef was nice but the broccoli and the Yorkshire pudding were quite hard. The beef was nice. The ham egg and chips looked delicious and the ploughman's was good. The service was bad as you had to go to the bar to order but the staff were nice. Overall I would come back to watch the football but not on for a Sunday lunch or family meet up.

Randomly stumbled across this pub and what a place. Owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming so decided to stay longer and had a roast dinner (pork belly) which was excellent and would highly recommend. Pub is also dog friendly which is a plus. If every anyone is in the area I would definitely say pop over n

Not what expected The garden was nice area . The food well not that great actually felt it was a bit Overrated Country pub My belly was not cooked in parts of the meat, the cauliflower Well, 112 cheese was a bit mash and tasteless not what I expected over cauliflower cheese carrots not that great. Will I visit again Don’t think so

Went here for the 1st time Easter Sunday with my wife, step daughter and 3 grandchildren and had a fabulous time. Our Sunday Roasts were fantastic . 3 of us had the Lamb shanks and there was so much meat on them . Even the grandchildren’s smaller size roast dinners were big enough for an adult who may not eat a Big dinner. We managed a dessert after a while and they were also very good with us having a mix of sticky toffee puddings and vanilla cheesecakes. Definitely will be back

Cycle club visited this week and we were pleasantly surprised with the pub. Beautiful garden with an equally good view. No shortage of garden chairs either. As for inside, a good selection of beers , spirits and wines. Food is typical pub fayre, and although not tasting their provided nibbles were delicious. . Service was spot on and served with a smile. The fact it was a dry evening weather wise added to the pleasant evening. We'll be returning soon.

I love a good pub and this is currently my favourite pub to visit, even though it's not the closest.

As everyone else says, a lovely village pub! The lamb shank was huge! Very reasonable prices for food and drink. Great value for money. Will return to sit in the lovely garden when the sun comes out!

We sat down and ordered our roasts and saw the board with all the dessert options on and were discussing what we would have for dessert. Then the dinners came out... There wasn't any room for dessert. The food was perfectly cooked and everyone ate it all. Next time I will ask not to sit too near the roaring open fire as it was a bit hot ;)

Despite the poor local weather, the team Bull served a banging pizza tonight with great chicken wings. Great job, highly recommended 👏🏻👏🏻

A very pleasant village pub. Interesting ales and friendly staff and patrons. Dog friendly.

We first visited here for a Sunday lunch and got a great table in its huge garden with stunning views, the roasts were delicious and plentiful and the staff are really friendly. Their homemade sausage meat stuffing is the best I have ever had in any pub or restaurant I have eaten in ( it’s worth going for that alone)! We have since been back mid week and also dined in the garden and tried the burgers and pies which were equally as delicious as the roasts. The pub itself is lovely inside and the owners obviously take a lot of pride in the establishment as well as a lot of investment throughout including new buildings outside to accommodate customers.

Perfect little pub for a cosy drink and one of the most enjoyable roast dinners I’ve had. Plenty of meat, plenty of freshly cooked veg inc cauliflower cheese (yum) and fantastic roast potatoes. Oh and the Yorkshires…. HUGE!

We visited today, as a halfway meeting point for our family to meet up between Essex and East Sussex, what wonderful food we had! Enormous portions, perfect roasties,good range of veg, cauli cheese, sausage stuffing ball etc. We had various roasts - beef, chicken and lamb shank and kids nuggets! All cooked to perfection, we had an issue with just the one beef as was just a dodgy cut but we were generously compensated by Katy to enhance our overall experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub and its food and we are thinking of returning again for a pre family Christmas meal. Added bonus of beautiful outside space and some Wintery sunshine :)

Went for the pizza evening on a Tuesday, great service, knowledgeable staff, friendly locals, fantastic garden.

Absolutely spot on Sunday lunch (particularly the lamb shank) and very friendly staff. 10/10 on all fronts! A nice view from the garden too.

Just attended The Bull on their Pizza Night now cooked by Katy the licensee. They used to have someone come in to cook them. Have to say it was absolutely awesome. I had the extra meaty, our son the barbecue chicken with extra mushrooms and my mother-in-law the Hawaiian. Washed down by a couple of pints of Tribute. Great evening.

This is a lovely pub with a friendly atmosphere and a great menu. We enjoyed a Ploughman's lunch with delicious ham/gammon and cheese with a generous selection of accompaniments and salad. The beer went down a treat (we tried the Kentish IPA) on a warm summer's day and enjoyed the view. A real treat! We will definitely be back.

Came here for some lunch and a few drinks after a walk with friends. A lovely local pub serving traditional pub food, service was warm and friendly and a great selection of beers on offer. We sat in what can only be described as one of the best pub gardens in Kent. With lovely views over the Darent Valley. staff were friendly and even came out to give the dog some treats. Highly recommended!

We stopped here as an alternative to a motorway services - and we are sure glad we did! The food was great (scampi, chips and mushy peas) with a special shout out to the chips which were brilliant! The drinks were good and the staff were lovely - definitely would recommend and will stop here if passing on the M25 in the future. Thank you!

We were told about this pub by friends, we didn't know it even existed. We visited on a sunny midweek lunchtime when it was not too busy but we were still able to get a good feel for the place. It is in truth a nice friendly village pub with a good selection of draught beers and delicious pub food on offer. The food is freshly cooked and served with a smile. An added bonus is the large beer garden with beautiful views across the valley. Definitely a place to visit.

My search for a good roast potato is over! Our roast dinner was one of the best I can remember, and good value. Great service too - a friendly bunch!

We were told last minute that we would be in the heated Marquee. It had only one heater and was very cold so we had to sit in our coats. The publican did all she could to rectify this but the heater she brought in blew a fuse. The burgers that my husband and friend had were ok but my lamb shank was aweful - not hot, semi-warm with congealed gravy. The 'seasonal veg' turned out to be frozen peas. There was no table service - we had to keep going to the bar to order and had to get our own cutlery. immediately inside the door to the Ladies, was a step, which I fell down (didn't notice whether there was a warning sign). The menu on the website was out of date as regards prices - they were a pound or two higher. We did not stay for a dessert or coffee.

For Easter Sunday we decided to try The Bull’s take away roast. All the family loved it. All the meats and sides were amazing. The portions were large, the service picking them up was very good. Great way to have a Sunday roast

I came to the bull about a week ago or so with a few friends we had a beautiful cooked meal would definitely recommend the beautiful bull burger and the chicken kickers, the landlord was so friendly and welcoming and such lovely staff would recommend to everyone I know and definitely will be going back soon

Had a lovely meal from The Bull, it was very busy (as it was mother's day) but we didn't have to wait too long. Food was excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the landlady Katy, she makes you feel very welcome.

Went to the Bull for a pizza night great to see a lovely little local pub doing their own fresh pizzas. Very impressed with the size and the portions of toppings ... and ... even accomodated me with gluten free! Definitely returning on a Tuesday...

I’m extremely disappointed to be writing this as I was so looking forward to it. They were running late with the table. Not a problem however having booked for 3 o clock and only getting starters at 4.45 was not acceptable. My granddaughter was crying...

Recently moved to the village and just love this pub. Superb selection of cask ales and excellent service from the team. The food is good value too and it just has the ideal country pub feel. Can’t wait until it’s warmer to enjoy their lovely garden!

We love coming here. We’re always made to feel welcome and met with lovely friendly staff. The food is also brilliant which you can enjoy in the beautiful garden looking out over the stunning views.

I will not be going back to this pub. As I felt very uncomfortable by the landlady and unwelcome. There are plenty more pubs in the area that cannot do enough, to make you feel happy drinking in their premises.

Lovely pub, have beaver town neck oil which is relatively hard to find but a lovely IPA, friendly staff and even let you clean your visor after a day at brands hatch. Strongly suggest to the motorcyclist community 👍🏾
