Nonna Cappuccini's in Sevenoaks

Went on Friday and was very poor ( I said before I wouldn’t go again & wish I hadn’t ). No poached eggs as they were “too busy” & can you believe they’d run out of bread by 2 o’clock? How about you send someone to Waitrose to restock ? Definitely my last visit. Will go to Gail’s or one of the other places . This is a cafe without a toilet that charges top notch prices and doesn’t offer the food or service to match .

Good position, nice to sit out as long as you have very deep pockets. I thought 15:35 was the time on the credit card machine, but no it was the price. 2 iced coffees, one with oat milk & a small bottle of still water!

We couldn’t believe what we were charged. For what you get, this is daylight robbery. Seriously, go elsewhere and save yourself a ton of money

My friend and I enjoying a drink. My Expresso was just how I liked it. Strong like I had in South America. Non alcoholic Peroni but a glass which had been in the freeze. This made it more refreshing in a hot day. Clean tables and friendly staff.

I want to be constructive here . Cladio and his family are a great addition to the food scene in Sevenoaks and the outside area is very nice in the summer. However the prices are crazy - over £17 for a ciabatta and a coffee in a little cafe is a step too far. It’s a shame but I won’t be visiting again .

Whilst the food can be nice, if a bit too salty for my liking and coffee is ok. However, it’s completely let down by the poor service. Lack of attentiveness when I’ve been waiting at the counter to be served and the last time when I was the only person in the cafe. This has happened more than once, being ignored whilst the staff do other things is incredibly rude. I’ve stopped going and now have coffee at Malabar whose coffee is a vast improvement and service is more friendly.

This place is nice but so expensive i know prices have gone up with price of food items but even so nearly 40.00 for a tea and cappuccino breakfast and an omelette that comes with no salad included and extra for side order i find a bit extreme . I wonder when the price of food comes down from suppliers whether or not there prices will i very much doubt it. I know resturants have had it hard over the past few years but even so i find the prices a bit on the expensive side.

I agree with the review listed on 7th May. The service was lack lustre, the food was way overpriced for what it was (£10.95) for a ciabatta ‘panini’ with absolutely no garnish. Cold drinks were overpriced too. You can get much better service and food elsewhere.

Claudio and his sons have started a Tapas evening on Fridays . Might add Italian. One word describes it all. WOW. Amazing food. Cannot fault anything. Thank you Claudio.

Great venue for an informal party. We visited for a birthday celebration and the venue and staff were perfect. Staff attentive and food was very tasty.

Visited mid week thought expensive for a sandwich & tea no garnish with sandwich however it was tasty but the young man who served lacked any form of customer service totally miserable won’t be rushing back.

Firstly I should say I am a big fan of Nonna’s and used to go regularly but less so now due to the price increases and reduction in quality. From the recent 5 star reviews I can see the owners do read (and leave ‘wink’) reviews so I want to give an honest review that hopefully they will take on board. The food is still very good. The ciabatta WAS the foundation of the great breakfasts. The new thinner ones are not so good so you need to change back to the high quality ones you used to use. The prices are expensive. Yes Sevenoaks is expensive but other shops are doing it cheaper but with less quality. So I will pay the higher price but only if the quality is top drawer. We need the good ciabatta’s back for the quality to be what it was. I’ve read lots of comments about staff ranging from grumpy to charismatic lol. I think we know who wrote the charismatic review… but lads come on, it’s isn’t the friendliest cafe and that doesn’t bother me but obviously some people like that so you could be a bit friendlier. This is an honest review from a loyal customer hoping you listen. Even if you don’t think you are being unfriendly it does sometimes come across like that. I get it, I’m the same. But I don’t work in a customer facing role and some customers obviously want a bit more from you. Personally I just want the old ciabattas back and the prices to come down a bit if possible and I’m happy with the service the way it is.

Quality and service is the same standard every time I visit. Friendly and charismatic staff as well as authentic Italian coffee. Last time I came for a breakfast before work but this recent time I had more or a lunch style pasta which was also incredible. Highly recommend if you are in the area

It was my first time visiting Nonnas and I was super impressed with the high standard of food. We had ordered a full English, the nick special and number 9. A good few rounds of coffees and fresh smoothies. Everything was very fresh and tasted amazing, the staff were very friendly and accommodating as I had a puppy with me and my friend had a baby with a buggy. The prices were great for the standard of food, inside was very cosy and welcoming. I will most definitely make this my hot spot on a Saturday with my girls!:)

Hands down the best food in Sevenoaks.. probably in Kent??!! If you want fresh food cooked with love then Nonnas is where you need to go. Small family run business who are passionate about food and always greet you with a smile. The service is always great - food arrives fast. I can’t recommend enough, always looking forward to returning. See you soon guys!!!

We often visit nonna cappuccini as a family on a Friday or Saturday. we live in central london and come to sevenoaks to get away from the hussle. For us, it’s our favourite place with exceptional food & service. The ciabattas are outstanding, so tasty & fresh, the eggs Benedict is amazing and They have a great selection of fresh juices, smoothies and porridges. The prices? You just can’t beat it for the quality and like I said we live in London and can sometimes feel not really that satisfied with the quality. Love supporting a local business instead of a chain and these guys are doing something different! Claudio & his sons are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the great work guys!

Wonderful family run coffee shop! Had a delicious homemade soup - perfect for a cold day and excellent value. Will be back to try the pancakes next! 5 star

I went to nonnas for a catch up with my friend and the breakfast was amazing! Cannot fault anything, family run business everyone is smiling as soon as you walk through the door very welcoming.

It was a miserable day so dashed into the first place we saw which we assumed from the look of it was a run of the mill sandwich shop. Big mistake! Couldn't believe the prices! Over £10 for a Ciabatta! Finally found a toastie that was hidden on the blackboard menu, that was still over £6! We thought well perhaps it comes on sourdough with salad and crisps. Nope! Turned up plain bread and nothing else pretty average too not fancy by any means. So a plain toasted sandwich and a canned soft drink was over £10! Even in Central London it doesn't cost that much. The place was full though so obviously it appeals to some people who want to throw their money away.......

Wow £17.70 for a breakfast and small tea, food was adequate but way overpriced, I didn’t see a Michelin Star anywhere!! I know it was cold but the tea and the beans were cold, if you do go make sure you get your own menu...

Fantastic family run cafe. I’m here most days because it’s the best breakfast, lunch, location and atmosphere in Sevenoaks.

We have been to this café at least 5 times in the last two weeks and have never been disappointed. The food and coffee are excellent and the service is always friendly, courteous and welcoming. Whenever we are in Sevenoaks we always make a point of visiting Nonna. We would not hesitate in recommending this café to anyone.A little gem not to be missed.

I just loved this place and the family that run it are so friendly and can't for enough for you.It's super clean and whilst they prefer you to pay with cash they DO take cards.I admit it is not cheap but the food is if the highest quality and absolutely delicious. Friendly place with outside heating allowing for winter comfort. Its a popular place which allows the rather high prices for food and drinks to be entertained.

I was in Sevenoaks around lunchtime and come across the cafe whilst walking through the lanes. I was solo so wanted to avoid formal dining, so thought I would give it a try. Food was freshly prepared and cooked. CASH only! However there are cash points close. Interior space limited and cafe style, but a covered outdoor area outside, which I nice in the summer. Nice, not full of it self basic dining.

Nonna offers nice variety of foods and it is lovely to sit outside if the weather permits. One thing I don't like is that they accept cash only. I don't normally carry cash with me as in 2019 I can purchase things with my card straight away. I would recommend tham to change their payment protocol.

The food is fantastic. You really can’t fault it apart from the mental prices. £35 for poached eggs for 2 and beans on toast and 2 coffees and you’d think with all the cash. (They don’t take cards) they’d keep the gaff clean.

A regular "pit-stop" for an excellent coffee mid-morning to recover from shopping trauma - outdoor covered and heated seating area - I consider this a vital asset as I can restore my nicotine level.

Nonna’s in the loveliest cafe. Coffee is delicious, brunches are amazing, staff are so nice. In the summer their outdoor seats are perfect but even when the winter doesn’t allow for this inside is cute and cozy and has a really good atmosphere.

this is a very nice café, it was very busy being a sunny day but the food came quickly and was very tasty

Always a friendly service, and you can sit in the sun and watch the world go by as they prepare your meal. I always have the same meal, pancetta two eggs on panini, eggs may vary though, vine tomatoes and mushrooms with a cappuccino.

A very popular cafè with locals and visiting shoppers. Plenty of table space outside in the pedestrian zone but inside it is cramped and you are likely to be nudged by fellow customers ordering at the counter or the waiting staff just doing their job.

Lovely little Italian café, with the most gorgeous cakes and snacks. Lemon cake is amazing! Nice place for a lunch break while shopping on a sunny day, as the outdoor courtyard seating is very pleasant, great for people watching!

My wife and I both thoroughly enjoy breakfast here. The coffee is delicious and the Italian Job breakfast is superb. If we want breakfast in Sevenoaks it’s the only place we go!

Overall far too expensive and average. £7.50 for a small sandwich - nothing comes with it. An extra £2 for a few leaves, £9.50 in total. Good but not that good. Nearly £10 for the small lunch salads, again average and not worth it. British person serving was a little rude and short. There are far better places in Sevenoaks.

My whole family are in love with Nonnas, never ever had a bad experience here, the food is UNREAL, the staff are all lovely! No matter the time of day or time of year, this is by far the best place to go for Breakfast in Sevenoaks. Im here almost every weekend, i generally have Number 9 with an avacado or an extra 2 eggs... You simply cant beat it!!!!

This place is superb, especially on a sunny morning like this morning. Sitting outside with one of Claudio's fantastic breakfasts in the middle of Sevenoaks is just perfect. Great to meet and chat and watch the world go by any day of the week.

Breakfast with the girls after a walk in the park - Nonna's is our go-to place every time. Delicious breakfasts, excellent coffee, fresh juice and a choice of inside or outside seating. If you don't want breakfast there is a wide choice of paninis, pastries etc. Wonderful efficient and friendly service, and they even have a loyalty card. You really can't beat it.

Great place for leisurely weekend breakfast when weather is fine .Food is beautifully cooked and tomatoes are very well dressed and tasty. Coffee also great. Be prepared to pay in cash however - no credit cards accepted. Genuine Italian food a opposed to the psuedo Italian food many restaurants dish up.

We decided to try here having seen other reviews on Trip advisor . The breakfasts were excellent, I am told the full English was delicious, with a unique Italian twist, I had poached eggs and pancetta, with vine tomatoes and mushrooms on ciabatta and would heartily recommend it, perfect poached eggs and delicious coffee, breakfast heaven.

Had to pop into Sevenoaks and ended up here. Found a great seat just opposite and watched the world go by. Ordered paninis. Some ingredients we haven't used together but the results were outstanding. Very good service and value.

We were a group of 10 who had just enjoyed a stroll through Knoll Park so wanted a nice brunch after our brisk walk and this place was perfect!
