Half empty sadly, great show with lots of audience appreciation. Feels like it's been refurbished. The seats were comfortable enough, but a bit narrow with very little leg room for a reasonable length show.

The Snow White adult panto was an excellent production and very funny indeed. Exceptional! The theatre itself was great and the staff were excellent and helpful too.

We went to see the Bookends Simon and Garfunkel tribute show yesterday. While the act itself was excellent and I'd highly recommend going to see them if you're a S&G fan, the venue was quite disappointing. There is NO legroom at all in the seating. I'm 5ft 6 and hubby is 6ft1 (with back and knee issues but not classified disabled) My knees were pressed against the seat in front and it was really 'snug' and hubby had to move to a (luckily empty) seat in the front row . He said "if that seat hadn't had been available I wouldn't have been able to stay in there" so we spent the evening sitting apart.... The footlights bar had a horrible odor of drains? It hit us as soon as we walked in although wasn't apparent anywhere else in the venue. It was a really nasty sulphur type smell and made sitting in the bar unpleasant. We heard many people commenting on it. The other issue we had was that the concession stand was selling large bags of popcorn and crisps etc. Which in itself I can understand for a children's panto etc but when you're trying to listen to The Sound of Silence with some adult numpty munching a bag of crisps behind your head (because presumably they can't go one hour without eating) it's pretty distracting. I did turn to them and say "please put those away" but it only improved slightly 😔. Rude . DONT allow food in the auditorium would be my advice (rule lol) drinks fair enough, no rustling and crunching there. All in all the act was fantastic. Let down by the venue. Would not book there again unless there was absolutely no other option for a show I wanted to see. It's a shame really as it's an old cinema, and I like to support these types of places but overall not doing the best it could in my opinion.

Thé théâtre itself was really disappointing as no leg room or space to move. It was frustrating that the family in the same row as me needed to get out several times as I literally had to stand up and get out into the aisle to let them past. Very uncomfortable squeezing my legs in too. Cafe dated, but reasonable prices.

Just had the most enjoyable morning at the panto, Aladdin, with my daughter and her family. Although the venue is a little dated and we found the seats a tad narrow, the production was wonderful with plenty of traditional audience interaction, dragons and water pistols in the auditorium, a talented, funny, hardworking cast, great music and dancing, clever stage sets...what have we been missing ! Already booking for the next one. Full credit to all involved.

Went to the Stag theatre to see a local production of the famous Oklahoma musical.I am delighted to say that the show was a real delight to watch. The young cast had 3 or 4 outstanding performers.supported by a full orchestra supplied by the renowned Chichester University. On my first visit to this theatreI was impressed by the high quality of the staff and facilities provided ,with a Hugh car park to the rear. Well worth a visit.

Visited the cafe on Tuesday 24 July. Very reasonably priced and varied menu. There was a young lady serving who, despite the very oppressive heat, couldn't have been more patient and helpful. She is an asset to the cafe. Recommended!

Today we visited the stag theatre in Sevenoaks to watch Snow White and the seven drafts. It was brilliant. Amazing take on the traditional story, cast was fabulous. Just the right balance between panto and adult humour. My kids loved it. The theatre is small and personal, so every seat is a great seat. Worth a visit. Look out for the George michael medley in the middle of this years panto!

I didn't even know this cafe existed until I came here for an informal interview. Lots of seating, comfy seats and nice drinks. Didn't see the full menu, but it was a nice atmosphere.

Nice cozy out just wish kids won't need to run around while parents don't pay attention to them and let them do whatever.

A real gem of an establishment. Came here for a Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago, and it was just lovely… kind of like how you’d expect a humble country pub to be. Traditional, excellent staff, fantastic food…

Shhhhhh... Don't tell everyone, but every Friday evening this cute cafe turns into a wine bar with the best grown-up cocktails in town and a pretty decent wine menu too. We pre-ordered a cheese platter that was generous in size with a sumptuous range of cheesey choice. It was a perfectly joyful date night. Hosted by Simon and Emma, who are warm and welcoming.
