Hidden Jen in Sevenoaks

Have visited about 6 times over the past 2 years and now live closer, so no doubt visits will increase! Not a cheap night if you are partial to cocktails but the cocktails are excellent and very moreish! Jen and her team are welcoming and remember their clientele, so you feel very welcome as a returning customer. Plus, good to support independents who add the personal touch and something different in the town.

We had our engagement party at Hidden Jen, the team were absolutely amazing. So friendly and attentive. Everyone raved about how lovely the venue was!! The pork sliders were to die for!! Thank you to Jen and the team for an amazing night x

We had a nice summer meeting from work in there. We did not reserve a table but the allow us to seat in one. The waitress and waiter was very polite and nice. We went on Friday after work they had live music the food, we did l have some chips and sweet potato they were delicious.. nice seating outdoors in the courtyard they provide for you some blankets , they also have seating indoors. You can pay with cash or card The toilets were clean

Had a wonderful evening here. The cocktails were amazing and the food was truly delicious. Not many places have so many vegetarian options; we tried several dishes and each one was amazing! We'll be back!

14-Jun Hidden Jen: Visited on a warm and busy Friday evening, with a table upstairs. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table by a lovely waitress who was on her first shift. She tried very hard and checked when she wasn't sure, and was reasonably well overseen by more experienced staff. It did result in a few mistakes, but nothing major. We enjoyed all the food we ordered (clearly a kitchen that knows what it's doing), but found the menu confusing: It's really unclear which dishes come up as a large plate (main course sized, eg chicken) versus those that are a small portion without accompaniments (eg prawns). Fortunately we were sharing everything so it worked out OK, but I do think a clearer menu would help a lot. There was a large group present during our evening and whilst they weren't loud themselves, the low ceiling and lack of soft furnishings to absorb sound meant that it was incredibly loud and we had to shout to hear eachother, which wasn't ideal. It was also very warm (we opened the fire escape door to try to get some air flow). We had a table outside for drinks after the meal and really loved the outside space. I would definitely return, but would go for an outside table next time (weather permitting).

Fantastic private party at hidden Jen celebrating with friends and family thoroughly recommend for private events or eating out.

We had a fabulous party at Hidden Jen. It was great for us just being able to turn up and not worry about a thing. We had around 40 guests, but everything ran very smoothly. We can't thank Jen and her team enough for making it such a special day for us! The food was fantastic, DJs were awesome and everyone had a wonderful time! We would recommend Hidden Jen to anyone and everyone. Natasha.

Was looking for a place for Sunday brunch as my friend’s usual haunt had closed. Found Hidden Jen whilst wandering around Sevenoaks looking for another place. What a hidden ‘Jen’ it was! We were warmly welcomed (possibly by Jen) and directed to the beautifully decorated upper seating are (there also a great outdoor seating area). The food was delicious and hit the spot. Highly recommended. I’ll be returning for sure.

It was a last minute booking - needing to get out in damp Feb. What a find! Fresh and original food, great atmosphere and lovely atmosphere. Great for a family or friends social. Cocktails, lovely select wine list, and really original appealing menu. We were unsure of the “sharing platters” format but it worked so well! Looks like there are some fun theme evenings coming up - Sevenoaks frequenters should make sure to go and support this fab little place. Do try!
