The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Rother South East

Had a weekend away at The Fig as first timers last weekend, location was great, room was lovely and staff, breakfast and dinner were excellent! We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived, staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The Fig is popular with locals and tourists and we understand why! The meals were great, delicious well presented and with a clear focus on quality. We would love to come back and recommend people try it!

We came on a Sunday evening. Great atmosphere and a really quirky Jazz duo. Great service and wine also. Would come back when next in Rye…..

The lady who served us was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The food however was dreadful, we were the only 2 eating in there and my order was wrong. I didn't want to make a fuss so I kept it but the chicken was so tough I couldn't even cut it up. It felt like a frozen chicken breast that was cooked quickly. The male bartender was rude and said i was just moaning because I'd ordered the wrong thing and we over heard that. Would thoroughly avoid. My partner's roast tasted frozen too. Terrible experience .

Fantastic Sunday lunch, would definitely recommend this village pub, beautiful location, looks like the locals support it which in my eyes is a good thing, attentive waiters and bar staff will definitely be back

Atmosfera davvero graziosa. Il locale è accogliente e il servizio cortese. Ci sono piaciuti sia i sandwich che gli scones. Ci torneremmo volentieri con più calma :)
