Just wanted to say your bar staff poured a perfect pint of Guinness yesterday. They were busy with the Italy v Wales rugby, but still had time to do things right. Pint allowed to settle, foam head didn’t touch the harp, and served with logo facing the customer. It’s the little things that go a long way. Well done.

Monday morning 28th January and we were in the landside area of the Arrivals Hall in the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport. Our British Airways flight had, amazingly, landed over an hour early. We had some time on our hands before collecting our car so we decided to have a coffee here. It is located on the ground floor of the Terminal directly outside the exit from the Arrivals Hall. We found somewhere to sit and stow the cases out of the way, then one of us went to the counter. It was all a bit chaotic at the counter, there was no formal queue, customers were turning up at the counter and staff were randomly serving people. I was asked by a member of the staff if I was being served, I said no, they walked away and began serving someone else. When she returned to the counter I said to her, I am not being served, I was served next. I ordered two flat white, which were served in paper cups, which cost £8.10 for the two. Once ordered I had to stand and wait with others for our purchases. I was there a while as there was only one member of staff preparing drinks. When drinks were ready a member of staff would call out the drink that was ready, there was not name recognition, technically anyone could claim the order. The coffee was not the greatest but it was the best we had had in the last two weeks.

Small community pub with lots of locals. No sky tv. Ideal for walking to. Rear garden.

Ordered tuna panini, too much mayo and cheese made it almost inedible. No cutlery, looked as though it had been torn apart rather than cut in half. It was ghastly. Food very expensive for what it is over £10 for a jacket potato and filling. Tea pot lid chipped, carpets dirty. Dirty plates left on table. Would not return.

I went to the Chalet last Saturday and waited like an invisible person for over 5 mins to be served with not so much as a good morning, we will be with you soon, I was just ignored. I walked out and said nothing. (Not wanting to be sarcastic!!!) I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned this morning. Well please come back the Chalet, because what i bought today was absolutely disgusting. I bought the following: Croissant: It tasted like it was made from rubber. Small Bloomer: heavy, not like I like a bloomer, its gone in the bin!!! Cornish Pasty: the biggest disappointment, I was really looking forward to this treat for lunch. It was as dry as a bone, empty inside and extremely under whelming. From here on in, I will vote with my feet and not bother. Sort it out the owners, its is a rip off and a pretence as you are trading under the previous owners good will and intent. Its just NOT working.

ORDERED MY TEA WITH SOYA MILK AND SERVICE WAS GOOD, BUT SAT DOWN AT THE TABLE AND IT WAS A MESS, ASKED SOMEONE IF THEY COULD COME AND TIDY IT ALL AND STILL NOTHING IS BEING DONE, I HAD BEEN SAT AT THE TABLE OVER 45 MINUTES WITH THE PREVIOS COSTOMERS TRAY STILL ON THE SAME TABLE. I AM DISCUSTED BY THE CAFE STAFF, YES I UNDERSTAND DURING TIMES OF BUSINESS THEY DONT HAVE TIME BUT NO PEOPLE AT THE PAY COUNTER THEY SHOULD PRIORITISE THE CLEANING OF TABLES.

We heartily recommend the Garland Public House. I visited with my family, friends, dogs, babies and children. Mine host is Peter and he’s a really welcoming Governor of the establishment.

Halal only, no pork based food at all, once again religious beliefs ruin what was once a decent cafe, never visit again...

Stopover night in Horley for a flight back to Canada. Thought we'd go in for a drink just to have a "pub" experience. Ended up staying for hours, it was Open Mic night and the music was fantastic! The people were friendly and the drinks really well priced. Highly recommend! (Although I didn't see anyone ordering food and there was no menu so I assumed there was no food service.)

Came for some breakfast & it was okay to be honest. Only had poached egg on toast but it took a very long time considering it wasn’t too busy either. Also got a hot chocolate & it wasn’t even stirred properly either. So overall okay

Basic cafe/diner on an industrial estate open from 6:30 to mid-afternon. Quick detour for us off the M25. Definatel a local greasy spoon cafe - lots of workmen and contractors. Proper builders tea served with a really tasty breakfast plus fried bread. Lots of options available plus able to swap items for thers which was ideal for me. They also serve lunch options (hot, sandwishes, rolls and take-away)

It’s annoying when you end up with an argument about included drinks They are happy to charge for black filter coffee when you ask for a black coffee which is supposed to be included in the meal When asked where the coffee was they were happy to assume we didn’t want it Poor customer service - used to be a good cafe but won’t be back
