Waitrose Cafe in Reigate and Banstead

The place is okay and I can't say that the staff members were not nice. However what put me off was the fact that your staff members are not provided with tongs or gloves when they do the iced coffee or generally dealing with food. I do not think it is very health and safety for your staff members to just grab the ice cubes with their bare hands and put them in the glass.... I am not aware why you don't have a specific procedure when doing certain type of drinks.....

Such a shame, I was so disappointed that there were absolutely NO VEGAN options except for a brownie. We came for breakfast and my son has a milk allergy, there was no options for him to eat anything other than a brownie. No options of sandwiches, cakes, breakfast rolls etc. how hard would it be to offer a vegan sandwich or roll or something. Won't be coming back

Sadly this is below par! Had lunch here with a colleague and is was very average. Staff not very attentive and the food is not up to much. Lots of other places nearby that are better

Ok if you are shopping in Waitrose to have a coffee but the selection of cakes are bland no atmosphere but staff are friendly though

Considering Waitrose stock a wife variety of Vegan food I was suprised that there are zero Vegan meals on the menu. Even the Falafel has egg in it for some reason. Ended up with Chips & Beans! Overall service was friendly but my partners dish (chicken pie) was not the best either. With a bit more TLC and a few minor changes could be much better

We used to go in here for coffee and a cake frequently. We also spent inside the store on each visit.Now that My Waitrose cards are no longer accepted for a free coffee we hardly go into the caffe at all.We have notic ed that there is no atmosphere and the selection of food and cakes and presentation is not tempting - especially as there is a cake counter attached.I my opinion Waitrose have shot themselves in the foot and lost custom in the long run.Such a shame, we now go elsewhere.

Limited offer of cakes and snacks in the afternoon, very clean and cheerful staff. However, does take some time to be served. Seating ok, but needs a bit of a rethink in terms of space at table and ease of being able to move chairs to sit down. Tea is very nice, but coffee far to bitter for me!

Ok if you a Waitrose’s card limited menu the staff are friendly but the menus needs to expand there are better coffee houses close by

Considering it is Waitrose cafe and part of John Lewis it is very disappointing. Tables are very rarely cleared

Good café inside the big Waitrose in Horley village centre. Nice and clean, quite big. The food is average food, not bad, fair price. Friendly and kind staff. Nothing to add. Recommended!!!

My regular place for a cup of coffee and a sandwich. It is a surprisingly nice place to relax whilst you are doing your shopping. The menu is inviting, coffee good and the service and staff friendly!

Well done waitrose horley a really good cup of coffee and capuchino good flavour. Lunchtime pies great well done.

This grocery store is amazing. Lots of great Christmas items, decorations, etc. The prices for fruitcake, shortbread, cookies, were great! The walkers shortbread was cheaper than duty free. I ended up doing some Cristmas shopping here. I actually came here twice in one day.

There's a huge amount of trust and loyalty in John Lewis and Waitrose and the Horley branch is (almost) a joy to shop in - well, I am a guy! In truth, it is very well laid out and stocked and the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. The aisles are wide and the roof high, so it is genuinely a pleasure. The café serves tasty Waitrose food and, of course, we get free coffee with our cards, if we buy a cake of other food. My one observation is that the cappuccino is too milky and in too big a cup, while some of the staff behind the café counter are inexpert and don't always engage with the customers. It's usually the boys and not the girls. But, compared with all other supermarket cafés, Waitrose is far superior.

Located in Horley in a new purpose built building not far from the station. It has a large free car park near by. Waitrose on this site is well organized, and everything is very easy to find.

Service a bit slow for the drinks and pastries a bit on the expensive side. Good choice though- love the yum yums! Drinks average. Had a toasted sandwich which hit the right spot when peckish. No glass for my cold drink-really Waitrose, I expected a bit of decorum from the 'upmarket' store!

Waitrose is an excellent place to shop & to eat a quick snack or meal.You can pick whatever you want from the counter or order the hot goodies.

I like Waitrose, the selves are well stocked and they have a good fresh display of fruit and salad, I have eaten in their coffee shop and yes is good quality

This Waitrose has plenty of parking spaces and its conveniently located in the centre of Horley, also near the railway station. Inside is a typical Waitrose supermarket.

Plenty of free parking including mother and baby spots. Very clean and welcoming, free coffee at the entrance/exit for after you have purchased your items and used your my Waitrose card. Good range of items.

The cafe in Waitrose is great for a free coffee if you have a waitrose card. Always clean and you know what to expect. Could provide a more varied range of sandwiches and salads after all they are available in store - noit everyone whants cakes !!

I am in Waitrose at least five times a week. The shop is clean, tidy and airy. Shelves are stocked and generally they have most of the things I need when I go in.

I like their good rang of health foods and Organic Products, also some good rare finds like Cacao. Would like to shop there again

Obviously, it's a Waitrose, stocking all the lovely things we want. There are other supermarkets in Horley, but Waitrose will have the particular item you want, which the bigger boys won't stock because they are driven ENTIRELY by profit. Horley Waitrose staff very quickly note your preferences, and very quickly become your friends as well. Even the security staff like to smile! But the greatest plus for visiting is their cafe. A simple cup of coffee can easily lead to a very extended stay, as everyone exchanges pleasantries.

Most cafe's in supermarkets seem to be in a separate zone; this one somehow feels like you're still in the shop, strange! The food is fine the coffee is good. But it is somewhat inefficient; and clearing away is hit & miss. May depend upon the time you arrive.

Cafe far from perfect. Food goes cold by the time you actually get served. Constant staff shortages, tepid hot coffees. Hard to find a clean table Often customers have to remove dirty items from tables which rarely get cleared. Staff hide away chatting in the kitchen. Slow and slower service patronised by smug middle class customers who just want a free coffee with their waitrose card.

If you want the best tasting coffee in Horley, get a my Waitrose card and get a free coffee, nothing tastes better than free right

This is a nice place to visit for a sit down for something light with a Coffee and a chance to read the Daily Newspapers.Staff are friendly and happily transfer items from Cakes / Sweet counter to where you can choose a drink.Site had good parking and a chance to wile way some time while the world goes by.
