Driven past this pub many a time. On way to Merstham by bus so stopped this time. Four ales on, one very good condition the other three OK. The staff were great and likewise the clientele who are friendly and communicative. Will stop there again when in the area. Recommended.

A relaxed and informal atmosphere well managed and with a wide range of reprobates, such as myself, to talk to. Good beer too.

The Jolly Brickmakers pub. Very nice friendly and understanding staff. Not forgetting the dogs, Deva, Mia and Nala. Been one of my regular favourites for quite a few years. Nice to sit down and watch the Six Nations Rugby etc. Inside or outside depending upon the weather. A Duke box on the wall to use when convenient. Even the regulars make you welcome and at ease. The pub is very clicky! If your face doesn’t fit, then your not welcome. Can’t fault the barmaid but she’s wasted in there!

Looks lovely at this place, I live just down the road to it, first thoughts is a reminder of a country pub,

The song ‘Welcome home, come on in and close the door’ springs to mind when I visited this pub. On the outside it seems like just like an ordinary pub, however once through the door staff and locals will give you an extraordinary welcome. What this pub lacks in looks and decor it certainly makes up for its warmth and friendship by its patrons.

It ok, or rather was. Not been here for 10+ years, but not inclined to go back, now living in the area once more... Maybe I should give it a chance...

We been in this local bub few times and we always feel welcome and we used the heated pateo garden with TV, never seen something like that anywhere else before! Excellent touch! In our last visit we experienced Open Mic which is hold every first Wednesday of the month. Must say some of the contributing acts cold be easily seen in front of bigger audience. The saund was perfectly done with care to individual needs of the performers. We be back! Well done to all at Jolly Brivkmakers!

Nice atmosphere and a down to earth pub

Visited twice for pub quizzes. We travel all the way from Maidstone and have not been disappointed. Lovely landlord and clientele and Mike's quiz is such good fun.

Not been here in a while and it isn't the same since Dick and Judith retired. But it has kept that feel of a genuine old fashioned pub with friendly locals and a good selection of ales.

This traditional pub is great for all including families. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and they hold great events, such as quiz nights, charitable events and music gigs.

Great traditional pub! Wide selection of ales, largers, wines and spirits and a very friendly atmosphere. Don't serve food but have rolls and bar snacks also u can have a takeaway delivered to the pub and eat it there and they will provide cutlery and plates!
