Quick lunch today. Food and coffee both very good and reasonably priced. We need to try the evening menu sometime. Looking forward to it

Substandard drinks and cake, even worse service. Nothing memorable about this place and disappointing as have visited previously and enjoyed it. Won’t be returning or recommending.

Had a great evening at Serendipity listening to DJ playing Ska music. Great atmosphere and a good selection of cocktails. Staff very engaging and pleasant look forward to our next visit.

Perfect spot for lunch. We always get lattes and the coronation chicken - good value, friendly staff, good coffees and cakes.

Met for a coffee with a friend and had heard good things so thought we’d go there. Coffee was lovely and food looked lovely, unfortunately being gluten free I wasn’t able to have anything except for a g/f brownie (or g/f carrot cake) as they didn’t have any gluten free bread which was a real shame as I hadn’t had breakfast before I left. I wouldn’t go again for breakfast but if wanted a relaxed coffee then I probably would. Maybe a gluten free option could be considered???

Decent place for a bite at lunchtime. Good range of fresh sandwiches. It was fairly quiet when we were there, but reading other reviews looks livelier in the evenings

This is my go to restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner or night out. The staff are professional kind and attentive and the food to fairly priced and delicious. Able to sit inside or out, depending of the British weather. They also hold themed nights which are great fun. Top marks all the way.

Went here last night, table of 9. The food was quick to be served, piping hot with the steam pouring off which you don't normally see these days! Huge portions so after starters and main course was completely stuffed. Cocktails were brought through, and after dinner went next door to the cocktail bar. Really good music, really good cocktails, really good night. Highly recommend and we will be back!

You know as soon as you enter the venue, it's right up your street 🙂👌 Wonderfully laid out and decorated, relaxing and friendly environment. Equally friendly and accommodating staff. My double poached egg atop bacon and avocado and farmhouse loaf bread, with a few tastefully seasoned sausages, were perfection 😋👌 I thought and smiled to myself about my breakfast visit at Serendipity's for the rest of the day ☺👌

We had an absolute ball here last night, went with a group of friends, we laughed all night thanks to the brilliant staff... Im still smiling today. On top of that the food was incredible. Between us all we had quite a selection from the menu and all had great food and large portions. We will 100% be back, ' karen night ' or not! Thank you all for providing great food and being so brilliantly entertaining!!!

I was meeting friends and was given the address for this place. I thought we were having dinner, so why a coffee shop? It has a great restaurant with very friendly staff. We ate well, and they had some nice wine too.

Absolutely wonderful meal here. Both the bolegnese & carbonara were delicious and very generous portions. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays it is 50% off selected pizza/pasta which was extremely good value. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I went for dinner mid week. Great food and service. We will definitely be back especially as it was great value for money.

Excellent overall - coffee was nice and food was great - the sandwiches are very nice. Play area for kids was also great and kept my two occupied for an hour. Only problem was the smell of smoke - there were chain smokers outside and because there was no fan or ventilation out the back the smoke just stayed in the café the whole time. Great cafe. I mostly get a takeaway sandwich and coffee. The doorstep sandwiches are very well filled and are a substantial meal. Staff are always friendly and helpful. If you are eating in the cafe is well laid out with plenty of space.
