Come here regularly for breakfast..always great friendly service. clean tables and decor...food is fantastic..generous portions..good quality..well recommended

Went in today; was super hot so just ordered two coffees to sit in. Place was really quiet but the staff were totally disorganised and didn't seem to talk to each other so had to repeat myself several times. 15 minutes later and still no coffee. Went to the bar and they handed us them in cardboard cups & a takeaway holder. No idea why. Also gave us what looked like the corner end of a pastry as an apology for the delay; weird. My partner went back and asked why it was in a takeaway cup as we were sitting in. All 3 of the staff looked at each other in confusion. Then said they will re-make it for me. Which was weird because that had nothing to do with my question - hadn't asked for it to be re-made, was asking what was up with the cups. Used to come here between lectures when it was Cafe Parisienne. Really gone downhill since. Staff just didn't seem to know what they were doing, so we just left.

Never been met by people in a small business so annoyed to receive custom, tutted and huffed as I entered the shop, yes it was 14:45 and the shop closed at 15:00 but that’s no excuse. I ordered 2 rolls, once the filling was in the roll I stated which salad I would like in each and was told there was no salad left?? No discount offered and to make matters worse when opening the rolls outside the shop the fillings were incorrect. Another customer entered the shop behind me the staff members both rolled their eyes and gave him a dirty look, if you don’t want to be selling products until you close maybe worth advising a cut off time for rolls and food to be made. The filling in the rolls was a good portion and tasted good but wasn’t what I ordered. I won’t be returning

Lovely lunch, we went for the small plates and everything was 10/10. Freddie our waiter was brilliant and a credit to the cosy club team.

Visited here for a few drinks to end our holiday after getting off the ferry on a Sunday evening. Great no nonsense pub that was very welcoming (Unlike Sovereigns next door, shut at 10pm!) Great prices and looks like they have a good crack with lots of bands will visit again when in the area, hopefully catch a band!

Really friendly, bubbly start, tasty food, and unbeatable value for money

Horrible manager (assumed). Extremely rude to her staff and customers. Wouldn’t serve customers because we had different coloured ID licences (green and pink because some drive and others don’t). Very weird behaviour. We were very polite and respectful and she didn’t apologise or have any respect for us or the other bartender working. (She was lovely). Will NEVER be returning and will make sure everyone I know knows how horrible she was.

Late review. I went there for breakfast. Quality food, friendly staff and brilliant location. Free car parking for customers.

We went for a girls Mother’s Day lunch, the roast was great , the best I’ve had out in a while, but the music was so loud it was actually painful. We couldn’t talk to each other or get our order heard by the waiting staff. There was a nice duo singing but we couldn’t really enjoy it because it was just so loud it was unpleasant, when they had a break and the playlist came on it was even louder. We ate and left immediate and went for a drink elsewhere. I thought it was me being old but my 19 year niece and 23 year daughter found it as painful as us oldies!
