Harpers Sandwich Bar in Portsmouth

Never been met by people in a small business so annoyed to receive custom, tutted and huffed as I entered the shop, yes it was 14:45 and the shop closed at 15:00 but that’s no excuse. I ordered 2 rolls, once the filling was in the roll I stated which salad I would like in each and was told there was no salad left?? No discount offered and to make matters worse when opening the rolls outside the shop the fillings were incorrect. Another customer entered the shop behind me the staff members both rolled their eyes and gave him a dirty look, if you don’t want to be selling products until you close maybe worth advising a cut off time for rolls and food to be made. The filling in the rolls was a good portion and tasted good but wasn’t what I ordered. I won’t be returning

Chilli cheese panini with red onion, definitely the tastiest ever eaten, and 5he fillings were big too

I love coming here. The food and good and the staff are delightful! Wouldn't go anywhere else for a cheeky sarnie... or sausage roll at that.

Harpers provided the Buffett for 50 people at my brothers 50th. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Harpers delivered the buffet inclusive in the price. Everyone commented how nice the spread was. Thank you.

Lovely cup of coffee & delicious bread pudding. Such friendly service, even offered to order bread pudding if we visited again.

Lovely fresh food always come here during summer for lovely salads rolls or baguettes or during winter for hot panninis or sausage rolls Great service always happy to chat to you about your day. Yum yum Fabulous food all year round

Pleasant staff. Always a great choice of fillings. Great value for money. Only down side is they do not take card payments.
