Amazing place for great food and drinks! Very cosy, stylish and delicious! I want to stay there all day. 😊 I went for full breakfast, with rustic bread toasts, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and avocado. ( sorry, eat it before take a picture 👀) Then I have a juice of the day: beetroot, apple, lemon, ginger and turmeric. Yummy! Fantastic coffee! They’ve got alcoholic and not alcoholic cocktails as well. You can buy plenty of homemade items like jams, honey, bread, organic olive oil, cookies, eggs, fruits, chocolates etc. Highly recommend to visit. It located in Kemptown, close to Royal Sussex County Hospital.

The food and the coffee here taste great, but unfortunately the customer service is really lacking. There is always a very long wait, coffee orders are regularly forgotten, you need to pay attention to what they are serving you because they will often give you the wrong item. Sadly even though this is probably the best bakery in Kemptown and I've been a regular for quite some time I won't be going again because of the customer service. There is another branch of this place on Western Road in Hove, where the staff are friendly and efficient. I wonder if its possible to cross train as its not the first review calling this out.

Have visited twice on a Saturday evening to find the place over run with hen parties. Does not make for a nice atmosphere and I doubt I’ll return. Such a shame as the place has so much potential.

East Park Cafe - lovely staff, always smiling, dog friendly, delicious coffee and easy to park up. Also their curries are super tasty!!!

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere and run by a lovely lady. The smoked mackerel sandwich and tuna melt were the best ever tasted. Great coffee too! Well worth a visit

Love this place. The vibe, food and coffee that the young female staff bring, to this coffee shop, is superb.

We arrived around 3pm and we were hungry. So asked if food was still being served. We got a filthy look, a huff and puff and then a reluctant "I'll have to clear this lot up 1st. I'll come over to you shortly". We sat for half an hour, watched him laugh and joke around us, while being ignored. We gave up in the end and just had the one drink on a dirty table (which remained that way while we were there) and left. Walked straight past the guy that served us without even an apology or acknowledgment. Now I realise it may have been a bit late in the day but when we asked about food, a simple "no" would have been fine. We wasn't demanding. And would have just gone somewhere else. And all they serve is pie and mash so its not like it's anything complicated. But I get the impression this is a pub for the locals only. As we felt like we were treated differently to others for being visiting strangers. Should have known really as it wasn't on the recommendation list of establishments on our welcome pack in the B&B. And as regular visitors to the area we won't be returning. It's a shame as it appeared to be a great cosy pub. Just not very welcoming unless you're a regular or local
