Can't comment on the food as didn't stop to eat. Walked in and not so much as a hello, Stood by a table with plates and leftovers on not so much as a give me a minute and we're clear them for you. Walked upto the counter twice and completely ignored and wanted to try charging £12 for a breakfast. I never normally leave bad reviews but just don't bother going here.

Wonderful café in the middle of the beautiful park. Marilyn was so lovely and kind to us and the food was delicious - especially the homemade chilli jam! everything is made from scratch and you can taste that in the food. Special thanks to Marilyn for also helping my mum when she got stung by a wasp! we are hoping to make this our regular haunt.

I had the most delicious cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and my friend had a mushroom and cheese toasted sandwich which she really enjoyed! Lovely bread and generous filling! Great coffee, I look forward to visiting again soon. Lovely people who have taken over this really nice park cafe and recommend this as a lovely peaceful stop for replenishment.

I see some pretty scathing reviews here for a café that has undergone a few changes of ownership in the past. But lets set the record straight, East Brighton Park Café is now (2020) under the management of Stephen and Marilyn, a couple whos years of experience in catering clearly shows in the quality and variety of food on offer. We stayed at the nearby caravan and motorhome club site situated on the same road and had breakfast there nearly every day. Quality food, great coffee, extremely friendly and welcoming staff, dog friendly, what more can I say. I recommend the full English with the amazing sausage patties.

My friend can't drink milk so ordered a chai latte with soya milk not knowing this particular place uses a blend that contains milk powder, the staff member was blunt and said no you need to pick something else, her manner was patronising and rude. We ordered drinks and brought sandwiches with us, again another member of staff was rude and said we needed to read the sign that says we can't eat or drink our own and have to order from the cafe but we had ordered drinks from them which was quite obvious and we couldn't see a sign. Fair enough we can't eat our own food but I feel like they could have been a bit friendlier.

Really enjoyed a fry up overlooking the channel. Decent ingredients, well cooked and served piping hot. A bargain at £5.50.

Came here as we were just about to go into the palace and decided to stop for drinks and snacks. I had the vegan chocolate cake (normally I stay clear of vegan stuff as I find it stodgy and tasteless in most cafes), and it was lovely! Full of flavour, a little sickly but worth the money. My wife had afternoon tea for one with jam/cream scone and enjoyed it very much! Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Many thanks.

The Pavilion gardens is a great spot for a coffee shop, they do good coffee and lovely homemade cakes. It's all outdoor seating or sit on the grass so its definitely a fair weather venue

Located behind the famous Brighton Pavilion you would do well to try and find if you are in Brighton. They serve homemade food and cakes which are delicious. Plenty of seating but if no seat available you can sit on the grass and enjoy your snack. Prices are a little bit high but for good food you don’t mind. They have tea coffee and soft drinks but have no alcohol. A great place to rejuvenate before carrying on exploring Brighton.

We had our wedding at the Pavilion and celebrated it with a toast at the Pavilion Café before heading for dinner. David was really lovely to work with. He's relaxed and is someone who will certainly listen to what you want. On the day, everything was ready and prepared and we were able to enjoy the good weather in the gardens of the Pavilion. The tea and cakes were yummy. It was a busy period but his staff were still attentive and really helpful!. Everyone stayed around till we left as well. Thanks for having us at your café! We really enjoyed it :)

This little café was a delightful find in Brighton. We had lunch here both days we stayed in the town and highly recommend it to travellers. It's alfresco eating area overlooking the Pavilion gardens and lawns was lovely. It's a small café but with a good selection of light meals and hot beverages and the sandwiches and scones were beautiful and fresh.

We really enjoyed our combined trip around the Brighton Pavilion and our cream tea in the Pavillion Cafe. The scones were nice, the clotted cream lovely and the strawberry jam completed the cream tea. It was served with a pots of tea and I was able to have rhooibos tea which was very good. We were bought a BuyaGift voucher which paid for the trip and the tea so other items would probably be available with the cream tea on a normal visit.

The Classic Breakfast was really good. The food was cooked fresh, hot, and very well presented. Fresh orange juice and lovely coffee & tea. The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The rest of the menu looks very interesting with a long list of available sandwiches and baguettes. Would very much recommend this cafe and will definitely return when visiting Brighton again. Thanks very much !!
