Cafe Ninety7 in Brighton and Hove

My omelette wasn't mixed properly. It says you get coleslaw well needed magnifying glass to find it

Tried out this cafe in george St, amazing service ,friendly ,my daughters loved the amazing milkshakes ,chips are hot with lashings of cheese.Chicken wrap was presented well and delicious.

I had a lovely breakfast here with friends, very cheap prices for an amazing quality breakfast. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are very lovely and talkative. The coffee was amazing just the perfect tempature.

We have been there many times with and without our dog. My mother has Alzheimer’s and feels comfortable there and likes the food. Today we were told we could not sit where we wanted with the dog. We were told we could only sit in the back. I tried to talk to the manager who would not let me speak and was very rude interrupting me all the time. He said ‘whatever you ask me the answer will be the same’! I did not want to ask him anything but just tell him something. I told him that we had always sat in the front booth with the dog and no one had minded. He was very arrogant and dismissive. I will never go there again. I will not be spoken to like that by anyone. Absolutely disgusted and sad for my mum. In reply to the owner!!! I did not threaten I promised I would write a bad review and I did. The manager was arrogant and rude to us. My mother has indeed been there and has enjoyed the place because she felt safe and comfortable there. I usually didn’t eat because I do not like the food there. Neither does my sister particularly. It is too oily for me and bad quality. There is also not much on the menu that I can eat. We have been there many times with the dog and have never been asked to sit in the back. Fact. Ask your staff and they will confirm this if they are honest. There was no one waiting to be served as the owner said there was. Therefore we did not hold up anyone who was waiting. Fact. I was not rude to him however he was very dismissive and disrespectful to us when I was trying to talk to him. He kept on interrupting me when I was trying to speak. What happened to the place that used to be so welcoming? It certainly is not like it used to be and I will never use it again. If you like good service and good food there are many other places to go to. I will be doing that in future.

Enjoyed another breakfast here. Not only a good choice of items and the usual teas and coffees but they also serve proper milkshakes.

Popped in here this morning for some breakfast, as my washing machine had broken and I had to go to the laundrette close by. What a lovely find 😊 I had egg & bacon on granary toast, it was delicious and huge. I also had a gorgeous coffee. Will definitely be returning to try something else! Thank you 🙏

Friends brought us here as they have been before. I had a full English and the food was lovely, not at all greasy, the hash brown was perfect, sausages were lovely and the coffee was excellent. Great service and really good value for money. Would definitely eat here again.

Would recommend the jacket potato with cheese and beans,a good sized potato, served with salad and coleslaw,and I opted for one of their lovely smoothies,and the staff are lovely too.😊

Very cosy cafe and wonderful vibe. The quality of the coffee was also great, I had a couple of double espressos that were at a great standard (and I'm a coffee enthusiast!) The shop was very clean and the staff were also very polite and accommodating.

Went here with son yesterday what a lovely little cafe we had the Ninety7 burger chips then a strawberry milkshake. Staff said makes own burgers and can definitely tell so tasty 😋 and the best burger I've had in ages especially the milkshake with big portions of ice cream inside thankyou for your custom.

I called in with my daughter for breakfast one Saturday morning during a trip to Brighton & Hove. We were greeted by a smiling lady behind the till and were given a menu and left to make our selection. The service was quick and within 10 minutes of our order being placed our food was brought to our table. The breakfast was lovely, quite a large plate all freshly cooked and well presented. The vegetarian sausages were lovely and good value too!

We fancied the look of this little café when passing by, one Saturday lunch time. With a varied menu of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, burgers etc we were spoilt for choice. Friendly staff, with good service. Delicious lunch - I can recommend the falafel wrap, which was served with a nice side salad. Jugs of water available to serve yourself...nice touch. Any disappointment? Yes, one.....my lunch left me too full to Warren a dessert! Worth a visit.

For the price the portion size and the quality was actually really good! The staff weren't particularly welcoming but it was a little busy. Will come in again to try something else, oh and the milkshakes are awesome.

Came here for bday breakfast, v pleasant experience, good service, good food, good ingredients! They coped well with different breakfasts ordered to come at the same time, made our drinks the way we liked them. 10 out of 10, we will be back

I eat here about once per week. Usually breakfast but sometimes a burger. The food is excellent and the service is great - fast and friendly.

Sat outside this brilliant cafe. I thought the food was good quality and well priced. I had the halloumi salad for £7.50 which was perfect and came with nice houmous and a sprinkle of walnuts. I saw others enjoying some very intriguing looking milkshake creations. My partner had a mushroom omelette which was also excellent and it came with fries as standard. We liked these extra touches. We sat outside in the sun. It’s a very busy part of Blatchington Road so while it’s not scenic it is interesting.

Had a good lunch here with my partner. I ordered a cheese and mushroom omelette with chips! It was yummy and reasonably priced. It came in a reasonable time after ordering. You can sit outside in the sun 🌞 and watch the world go by. A woman next to us ordered a milkshake which she said was nice and said "they do reallly good milkshakes". Nice cafe for lunch or breakfast on Blatchington Road and you won't have to spend a fortunate like other places.

Extremely rude . Snatched tenner out of my hand and was rude to his staff in front of me.

Do like this place but when it's busy manager seems a bit pushy and feel you have to leave clearing up the table but apart from that it lovely

I arrived with a friend at 3.00 pm the cafe closes at 4.00 pm but the staff were already more interested in packing up. First they put up the chairs on many of the nearby tables, then asked us to move from a table at the back (which another staff member had said it was OK to sit on) to one at the front of the cafe so they could clean the back. The food was good so no complaints, but if you run a cafe you need to make people feel welcome. You've saved yourself maybe 20 minutes at the end of the day, but lost a customer in future.

Was in the area shopping and from the outside it looks lovely. So we decided to go and have breakfast. Lovely welcome from the staff. Got our seat and ordered at the till. The place was so warm and inviting. Our breakfast was delivered with a smile. My partner had the big breakfast I opted for the small and we both agreed it was delicious. Very tasty and Free black pudding . I’ve never seen that in any cafe as it’s always a extra £1 and we would have happily paid for this. Whilst waiting we watched the lady make yummy milkshakes. Will definitely go back if we are over that end of town. Well worth a visit folks .

I had a great experience here so came back and sadly the front of house was very rude and ruined it. I'll probably not bother again. It's such a shame as the food is good and my kid likes the milkshakes.

This has become our family favourite cafe in the Blatchington Road/George Street area. We have never had a bad coffee in here. Always delicious coffee, food to suit our different requirements and lovely, friendly staff.

We came here for lunch and really enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable and portions are huge! I had the chicken, bacon and mayo sandwich which was enormous. It was very tasty but needed a side salad. My friend had the halloumi burger and chips which she enjoyed.

Excellent Cafe, great food. Good music with Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, The Four Tops. They even have a small pile of books for customers to read including interesting cookbooks. It is not table service so be advised you should go to the till to order. The food however is really tasty. The Crispy Bacon & Egg sandwich is particularly recommended

Such a moody waitress. Products good but order wrong so changed it but by the time it got back the eggs were stone cold... could have been easily rectified by Good customer service. When you walk in smiling and cheery and get a stony faced glare back it is difficult to come back from that. Tbhe cook seemed nice but front of house ruined it. Shame as just moved in next door and was hoping for better.

Was in Hove and looking for a coffee and saw this place, thought it looked nice so went inside.It was moderately busy, we were served by a nice lady who smiled and was pleasant.I ordered 2 coffees, a Mocha and A latte and 2 pieces of their Lemon Slices. it was well presented on nice plates and cups. My Latte was excellent, as good as I've had anywhere and my wife said the same about her Mocha too. Couldnt ask for more. Finally, the toilets were nice and clean.

Gd food and really nice staff defo recommend 10/10.

Always lovely food here. Plus their funky shakes are amazing, had an oreo and a skittles one today (not both for me!) we went in the other day and they were out of skittles, but as soon as we went today they told us they had them in!

Beans were cold, and it took an age to get food. The server could have been a bit happier as well.

If you are looking for a friendly, clean cafe for a hearty full English breakfast then Cafe Ninety7 is the place. Decent quality, generous portions ( black pudding included if you like) at a very reasonable price. The coffee is also good, piping hot. Quick, friendly service. Very enjoyable visit.

Good place for breakfast! Big selection of different types of English breakfast, sandwiches,bake potatoes, wraps...etc... but the omelette with ham and cheese is the star. Big portions and good coffee. They have a selection of milkshakes too.
