Very friendly staff, we had two vegetarian English breakfasts, and they arrived very quickly. Very good.

Had lunch here and was really pleased at the freshness of the food as well as the taste. I chose the Chicken Shawarma which was really great. Definitely somewhere I’ll be going again. It also seems like a great place to work as it wasn’t too noisy!

50p for oat milk, are you serious? Thanks for helping with allergies. And no toilet paper. Won't go back ever

Drive past here daily and only ate there yesterday! Super wrap, tasty, well filled and great value. Many tasty things on the menu and will return soon. This place should be PACKED, everything is fresh cooked and served with love x

Lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and professional. The coffee is great and, although I’ve not tried many of the items on the menu, I have had the Falafel wrap on multiple occasions and I am always blown away by how amazing it is. Definitely stop by and try it if you haven’t already!

Unfortunately the owner chose not to honour a Crave gift voucher I had been given for my birthday. What a shame. The food and atmosphere might be ok, or even lovely, but I'll never know now . The service certainly wasn't.

My partner and I have recently stumbled upon Crave despite living in the area for almost a year now and I can’t believe what we’ve been missing out on! In the past couple of weeks, we’ve ordered for delivery, had takeaway by collecting and had a delicious breakfast in the cafe! The coffee is lovely, the sweet treats AMAZING and the breakfast we had was so so tasty. Special shout outs to the shakshuka and the caramel brownies. So glad we found this spot!

I live close, and have been here many times. For me, their coffee is the best of any Coffee Shop/Restaurant in the area. On top of that they have fantastic food. I'm a big fan of their Shakshouka and Chicken Shawarma.

Honestly such a great place! The owners were so helpful and welcoming. My partner is lactose intolerant and they went above and beyond to help “we can do anything the way you need” Will be going back! Highlight- Shakshouka was one of the, if not the, best I’ve ever had

We were looking for somewhere for breakfast before our drive home from Brighton and I am so pleased we found Crave. The food was delicious cooked perfectly, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxing - I would highly recommend it 😋

Fantastic food and very friendly service. Made us feel very welcome, including the dog. Really wish we’d discovered this place earlier in our holiday.

So nice we went back the next morning! Difficult to find good places to eat when on holiday. Finding breakfast early morning with dog in tow where we didn't have to sit outside was a struggle however not a problem at Crave. They had lots of footfall (should really have more) so we popped in. We made our order including a sausage for the dog. Everything arrived quickly and was delicious 😋 even the sausage was all cut up in a bowl. The hot chocolate was one of the best, with real dark chocolate chunks sprinkled on top but it was throughout. The coffee was a proper cup of coffee not a chain-bramd cup of flavoured water. Definitely worth a pitstop whether you reside in Brighton or just on holiday like us.

Just popped into Crave for a much needed sugar hit. The lovely and friendly Sandra suggested the salted caramel brownie. It was so super scrummy. Really gooey, perfect sweet caramel and the right amount of salty goodness. I would definitely recommend. Also Sandra makes the most fabulous homemade Baklava. It is insanely good. Just two brilliant reasons to visit this great family run business.

I cannot recommend this lovely, family run cafe enough! Not only do they serve the most amazing coffee and food to take away or eat in, they also were willing and able to host a buffet reception and drinks at very short notice. The food, service and atmosphere in this lovely little cafe is the best!

Popped in just killing time and grabbing lunch while getting the car cleaned next door. Staff very friendly and helpful. I asked and went for their recommendation of a spicy chicken wrap and I wasn't disappointed. Great atmosphere. Nice and chilled. Clean. Food was delish!!!! I'll definitely be back

We booked a table for 7 people for last night. Personally I found the place unwelcoming. Point blank Refused entry without face masks and told to go and buy them. No option to provide them inside which was odd considering it’s their preference and disappointing that they were so stern when telling us to go and buy them. Considering our group took up half the restaurant it just seemed ridiculous to enforce this and be so rude about it when there appeared to be no additional benefit. The limited staff serve you unmasked so it was effectively to enable us to walk past the bar on entrance. Really odd. Just a bit grotty inside. Especially the loos, felt more nightclub than restaurant. The food was ok to be fair. Nothing spectacular in my opinion, very vinegary and a bit tough. But it wasn’t bad. Huge portions. No order to how food came out. Mains came before starters and people had finished their main before others had even received theirs. It just didn’t flow well at all. Then a compulsory service charge is added. Not great in my opinion.

Mostly well cooked and very tender meats but the rice was overcooked. Flavours powerwful which I like but something in there that wasn’t for me. Not that it was bad just I didn’t get on with it. Staff very lovely. Atmosphere positive and not so busy.

I popped by here when my car was in the hand car wash next door. I bought a coffee in a to go cup as the car wash guys are super quick and i wouldnt habe time to finish a coffee. The entire cafe was deserted and I sat down to wait 10 mins to go back and get my car. The fella that served me asked if my drink was eat in or take away (i was already sat down). I said I was waiting on my car and would only be here a few minutes so needed a to go cup. He said it's 'a different price if you want to sit down'. There was no one else in the cafe. I said fine and got up and left - basically unfriendly and rude in there and I'll not be going back.

Ordered through Uber Eats. When Uber Eats said it was ready to collect, I went to the reception of the restaurant and i said to the man on the till 'Here to pick up' in a friendly approach, and he quickly said ' pick up for what' and i said 'im here to pick up my order' and he said 'order of what'. I showed him the uber eats app and showed the order i placed and and he was like 'oooh'. At this point he looked around under the till to see if my order was processed but it was not even ready to pick up. He said to me it wont be long give us 5 minutes. I said thats fine, i asked if i can wait at the waiting area. he said 'you can wait'. I waited nearly 15 mins. When i got the food, i said thank you and left the restaurant. I went to have the food at nearby public bench to eat. when i opened the food, I saw a long dark hair hanging off the sandwich i ordered, not only one hair but two strands of hairs were inside the sandwich. My hair is short and it is definitely not mine. I did not go back to complain as I was on my lunch break and i did not want to waste anymore of my time. This was my first time going to this restaurant and it will be my last. the man who was at the till needs to be more patient and understanding when it comes to customer service. he should not be quick to dismiss a customer in the same situation as i was in.

I ordered my takeaways lunch of ham and cheese croissant with my coffee today. After I left Crave, a guy at hospital asked where I got this coffee from. When I said crave his reply was “oh Crave is amazing”. He was correct. I have enjoyed my toasted croissant and coffee soooo much. Everything was superb from the service to the quality. Crave never disappoints. Thank you team

Had some time to pass while visiting the hospital nearby. We picked the right place to pass the time. Good coffee and great burgers, with very pleasant staff as well. Recommended.

I regularly go to Crave, they make delicious food, my favourite is their amazing homemade falafel wrap! They also make the best baklava in Brighton (my husband doesn't want me to buy baclava from any other shop/cafe!). They sell good quality (often organic) store cuphoard food and lovely local cold cuts of meat. Sandra and Simon are lovely people who run the cafe/store.

My office is based just around the corner from this delightful cafe, so I am a frequent visitor! I had previously been getting my coffees from marmalade a few doors down, but have to say I much prefer the food and the drinks at Crave. The service is excellent too. Sandra & Simon remember me by name and have my order ready to go before I’ve even asked for it! Highly recommend

I am a regular customer in Crave and adore Sandy and Simon and today I went in for some lunch really not knowing what I fancied. They have just started lunch bakes / dishes on the counter that can be heated and taken away with salad, today's offering was Tatitsio, which I had not had before, minced beef, pasta, sauce, slight hint of spice, I thought I had died and gone to heaven, absolutely amazing, thank you so much, Sarah

I was waiting for a friend for 2 mins then to order something but staff was very rude and angry for no reason, thinking that I was not planning to order. I felt like they will attack me physically. Rude staff, avoid!

My son and I came here for lunch - what a lovely treat. Delicious burger and shawarma, friendly people and nice, relaxed atmosphere. There aren’t many places like this locally, and so nice that it’s independent.

Expensive but very good quality, very clean, good and cheery service, nice surroundings and with 1.5 hours free parking in Lidl less than 500 metres away. I had my sandwich on a panini. Is it worth over GBP 3.00 than the others, well I don't really know, but I will come back. It's a little bit further from the free parking at Lidl than Mac's but I think I'd do the walk and pay the extra and that's no criticism of Mac's.

Absolutely delicious food. Really tasty and full of flavour. The veggie burger was fantastic and cooked really well. The halloumi fries were the best halloumi fries I’ve EVER tasted in my entire life. The service was just perfect, so lovely and helpful from start to finish. Will come back as soon as possible!

The best falafels I've had in years and hummus that tastes exactly like the one from Damascus! What’s more, it’s always nice to walk in and chat with warm and welcoming staff.

Easily the best coffee in town I wont go anywhere else. The food Is great and the burgers are excellent. The staff are always helpful and have great recommendations.

Had the pleasure of working from here today. Absolutely lovely breakfast. Bacon and sausage was super tasty! My only complaint, there was too much food and I couldnt finish it! Lovely iced coffees too. Great service, lovely staff/owners. Highly recommended, do visit if you are in the area!

A Full English Breakfast in Brighton can sometimes be "touch-and-go". From the quite good to the "downright awful"... But.....Crave breakfast is consistently first-rate. I am no longer surprised when I order that it turns up on my doorstep EXACTLY the same each time. Part of it has to do with the presentation - they pack it in such way and in a certain type of box, where each item is protected and the eggs are on top and always remain intact. It is always delivered hot, and the flavour is delicious! Sausages are well-done and the eggs just right. I give a full 5-stars to this breakfast and to Crave. *****

Literally the best and tasty food in Brighton, run by the loveliest people!

Horrible experience! My wife went in to get takeaway coffees and asked if she could use the WC first. Man behind counter refused unless she paid extra. I arrived moments later and explained we were genuine customers wanting to buy coffee. Man’s response was “We’re not a public toilet”. I don’t know if we caught him on a bad day or something but he was really rude. I said then we wouldn’t buy his coffee and he responded pretty unpleasantly. There are a lot of excellent cafés nearby where customers are treated with politeness and respect; I wouldn’t reward this behaviour with your custom.

Very pleasant place! Open till late. Reasonably priced food. WIfi, chilled atmosphere. I like it here :)

I had the chicken and avocado sandwich on brown today, normally have gorgonzola, onion/tomato on brown but today changed it around, well what a revelation and an absolute killer lunchtime treat. The chef certainly knows how to put those sandwiches together that's for sure. Great warm-n-friendly service, highly recommended, always look forward to popping across the road for their sandwiches, thank you guys.

The BEST sandwich I've eaten in years. Our little production company were filming nearby and stopped in for lunch for cast and crew. Every single person was blown away with the quality of their sandwiches and wraps. Beautiful fresh breads, fresh and flavourful fillings using top quality ingredients. How sandwiches should be done. The owners were warm and welcoming and we came straight back the next day for more. Truly fantastic.

This place has everything! Tasty bakery treats, delicious homemade hot food, groceries, lovely coffee, and most importantly, excellent customer service. Sandra & Simon are a delight and brighten up my mornings more than the coffee does!

My partner and I visited Crave while on a day trip in Brighton and it was a lovely experience! The staff were all very warm, chatty and friendly, and we felt very welcome in their shop. They had a great range of delicious-looking products, there was so much to choose from and plenty of things you wouldn’t find every day - we had a hard time narrowing down the things we wanted to buy! Initially we stopped for brunch and a coffee, which was absolutely delicious, fresh, and promptly prepared and brought to us. We then stopped by later to sample a couple of things they had to offer, and we will definitely be paying a visit next time we are in Brighton! It’s a little way out from the main shopping areas but 100% worth the walk:) If you are considering visiting please also be assured that they are doing everything possible and within guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19!:)

Friday work lunch from Crave is the highlight of our week! Keep up the good work guys cannot recommend the Chicken Escalope enough!! Will definitely be back again and again!

Crave is a fantastic treasure trove of delights. From beautiful pastries to Turkish coffee, there is something for everyone. The staff are so polite and very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Always come here.... better than Marmalade.

Moved locally Sept 2019 and very grateful found Crave. Now most days I fulfil my CRAVE-ing .. for a good quality coffee, or a lovely sweet treat. Also with the help of lovely friendly team I am trying yummy new things for me off their healthy and interesting menu - all very good value and big portions!. They have remained open with good safety precautions in-place. And supporting local community including all NHS key Workers etc. The main thing is they put the CARE in CRAvE. Thank You... Chris 💖

I had lunch here almost everyday for 7 week and not even one day I had complaints. The food is exquisite and the staff is friendly. Crave is perfect for luncheon or any time really. The Avocado chicken sandwich, the pastrami melt or the Mediterranean Shakshuka are a few of my favorites in Crave.

What an absolute gem! One of the only places to stay open in the covid lockdown, us lot in the medical rotas department at the hospital can't keep away. The friendliest team you'll ever meet running a café and the most delicious sandwiches in the world. (Honestly, the Shawerma wrap has changed my life). Their cakes and pastries are delicious (banoffee brownie is insane) and they have an excellent selection of both snacks and drinks. Excellent coffee with any milk of your choice. And their takeaway cups are compostible! NHS discount - winner. If you like your wine, ask their advice! I've tried two of the nicest red wines I've ever had and keep coming back for more- there's one with an upside-down label which is out of this world. You can order ahead or pop in and they even have an excellent breakfast menu! They've been brilliant in keeping the place open with limits to 2 customers at a time so you don't need to worry about the social distancing. Thanks so much crave, you're the only place I've been spending my money during lockdown and I don't regret a penny.

This was not quite the PERFECT bacon sandwich but definitely the best in Brighton and surrounding area. It was also the most expensive at GBP 5.80 including a cup of tea. The bacon was good and I like the the bread which i suspect to be ASDA's Polish Bread. I thought it was well worth the price. Service is friendly too.

Crave had been recommended by a friend to have the best vegan burgers in town and salad selection. We were Greeted by smiley staff who were very polite and welcoming. We were served in no time and the food came fresh and i got to say they were the best vegan burgers we have ever tasted!! We also had a green lentil salad which i highly recommend. We will definitely be visiting crave again and if i can give it 6 stars i will from service to quality of food.

Came in around lunch time in between viewings, stressed out! The owner made it so easy and even let me try a sample of a dish before placing my order. I ended up buying the Falafel I had just tried for the first time. Kind, easy, affordable.

Came here for a quick bite and the service was great, the staff was extremely helpful and super welcoming. The food came out quick and exacly how we asked. Several tasty vegan options as well and a variety of healthy smoothies and drinks. Great experience overall! Would 100% come back!

Needed to pass time waiting for visiting time at the hospital. Location: close to hospital on main Eastern Road Small with two main tables and some bar stools. Quick service asked for two shot decaf black americano with a sugar. Tasted really odd; I am guessing was a coffee substitute?chicory based. £2.30. I didn’t eat but the food looked good and prices appeared reasonable. I would have commented but waitress was busy and I could not stand listening to a customer on next table explaining to his Spanish friend why he voted for the Brexit party. Rather than let that affect my rating, I left my coffee.

Visiting the hospital and looking for a quick lunch, we stumbled across this lovely cafe. Burgers were excellent and at around £6, half the price of a pub. Halloumi wrap was equally good. Nice chilled atmosphere and great service with a smile topped the visit off. Will be back again in the next few days.

Very busy at 1pm and seating for only about 25 persons. Despite this popularity we waited just 10 minutes for our freshly made Chicken Club sandwich and orange juice. We saw the oranges being squeezed for us at the counter. The sandwich arrived hot and stuffed with chicken and bacon. Sitting near the kitchen entrance we observed various dishes coming out - the burgers and chips looked hugely bigger, tastier and more inviting than anything from a high street chain. The staff were friendly to everyone throughout our visit, and it was very nice and unexpected to receive a cheery thankyou & goodbye despite our very modest order value. Although it is 10-15 mins walk from the Sussex Kidney Unit (at the very top end of the Royal Sussex/Brighton Hospital site) it is well worth it if the weather is at all decent.

Visited here yesterday, didn’t know what to choose as many choices of panini and sandwich fillings, jackets potatoes and cakes. I went for the salmon and cream cheese with lemon panini and the haloumi chips. There was plenty of salmon in the panini the the haloumi chips were the best I have had anywhere! We also had two soya lattes. The vegan brownies looked delicious but I will save trying them for another trip! Have to say I was very impressed with this place.
