The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

These guys should not be in hospitality rude beyond belief. This was my second visit thought the first my be a bad day but no, just the same rude attitude. My mistake never again explains why on a sunny Friday lunchtime only three people in the cafe. I can only imagine its their first time as well.

Terrible terrible service by the lady. 6 of us ordered food, and one couple wanted to share a pot of tea and cake. Met by the lady with no you’re not allowed to do that. I dare her to smile once in a while as well, would not go back and would not recommend to anyone

Overly steamed/ heated oat milk to the point of it becoming denatured and creating a foul, bitter taste, along with a cup filled a little over halfway. The staff in this branch are inconsistent and are brand damaging.

Please 🙏 don’t make this a habit. The breakfast was very disappointing. Tomato rock hard and hardly cooked, as was the fatty, again hardly cooked bacon. Not your best for sure.

Ordered a walnut and caramel cake for a birthday. Cake looked great but was so sweet and sickly we threw it away. We both love sweet cakes but this was unpalatable because of the sweetness.

Me and my son thought it would be nice to grab a nice drink at Harris & Hoole. I had really high expectations for our visit! I was extremely disappointed with the customer service skills of this young man serving, he barely spoke or smiled. My coffee tasted like burnt coffee, made me feel sick 🤢 never felt so rubbish after that experience. Sort it out harris and Hoole!

Went to spend some time in Hampden Park and to stop for a bite to eat. The cafe was being re decorated so only sandwiches and toasted sandwiches available. Thats fair enough. However: Can of Pepsi £2 Toasted sandwich £5.00. The sandwich was appalling. A small amount of ham with a dusting of red onion, no butter, no condiment, no salad. Dry, inedible and grossly overpriced. Take my advice bring lunch and sit on the wonderful benches taking in the birds and wildlife. This cafe is a total rip off with an older female assistant who couldn't care less.

The Sainsburys cafe in chichester offers excellent value for money meals. A full english breakfast for £4.85,excellent value and such polite staff.

The muffins especially the apple and cinnemon was nice but £3.10 for a medium American seems alot . £4 for a milkshake. Seating overlooking the river was a bonus. Nothing wrong the quality but these prices seemed a bit steep.

Called in while house-hunting in Billingshurst . Thought it was brilliant - warm welcome , fantastic bacon sandwich and yum yum , great coffee. Good value

Very very poor breakfast, most of the food was cold, asked for well done eggs eggs came out under done no napkins looked like the hand towels had come from the toliet, & staff should spend a Little less time talking out load, this is not the first time we have had a poor breakfast here free drink or not each month will be a long time before we go again,

Popped in for snack, very quick service for my Coque Monsueir, which hit the spot. I can't wait for the sun to come out for lazy lunches on the decking!

When Debenhams changed the style of it's cafe offering, they seemed to have really taken it up market. Standards, particularly those of the staff, had rocketed and although I reckon a lot of folks wouldn't have liked the improvements (old habits die hard), I and many others did.Unfortunately the honeymoon period has clearly passed and this visit was less that satisfactory.Tables littered when we arrived, checkout system slow and food no longer quite as classy as it previously has been.Ordering soup and a jacket potato, we took our seats and waited on it's arrival. After about 10 minutes, the buzzer flashed (they use an electronic table ID system) and we waited expectently for the food to arrive. Nothing! Thinking that perhaps they had changed the system and we should go back to collect it, I headed to the till point. Could see both items sitting under the heat lights but was advised that it would be brought over.Returning, we seemed to wait for ages before the Baked Potato arrived. Putting it down, the waitress advised me that my wife's soup would be following. I was about halfway through my meal as she passed us with two more baked potatoes for another table. Almost finished my meal, the soup finally arrived - along with appologies for the delay.The baked potato was packed with filling but frankly, was mildly warm rather than hot whereas my wife did say her soup was very hot (maybe it was thanks to the time under the heat lights). The salad accompanying it was poor and really only represented compliance with a menu description, certainly not adding to the value of the meal.A real disappointment which left me feeling that Debenhams have allowed their cafe to begin to sink to the depths of the old one which would be a real shame.

Went to watch the FA cup final. Bar staff done a sweepstake. We pulled out 30>40 min united scoring. They refused to payout. Would not go. Beer was flat and not great.

This is our local Costa and we don't normally use a café so close to home, but it was raining, so we took a break and a coffee here. It is just as any Costa Coffee should be, predictable but reliable. They were cleaning even the ceiling lamps when we were there, so they must take cleanliness seriously, even though some tables needed to be cleared. Happy to come back again when it rains.
