Awful pub staff are rude and not welcoming won’t be going here again will go to a more friendly pub

We went for a variety of small plates and the quality was present throughout. Fresh ingredients and thoughtful texture and taste combinations were used

Prosecco is a bit expensive for a small bottle compared to most places but servers are all really welcoming and they serve cider on draft so we return regularly.

Superb. Traditional pub food. Well presented and very tasty. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. Comfortable seating.

Had read good reviews so called in Easter Saturday lunch time to be told they were closed and had run out of a lot of the menu. Know it was Easter and would have been busy but still very disappointed

What a gem, Saw signs on A6 between Garstang and galgate, beautiful setting and location with views over the Trough of Bowland. A lovely Thai Curry in the Hardens to the rear.

Beautiful setting, great food ,spent three hours there sat in front of the duck pond. Give it a try .....

If you’re visiting, live nearby or just fancy a drive out somewhere, this place is so lovely to have a coffee, cake or breakfast/lunch like we did. It was such a nice day we decided to come here for some breakfast.. it was so delicious! The staff are super friendly and the food came quick. I even had some chocolate cake to take away and it was so delicious, proper Matilda cake if you have ever watched the original Matilda film! We will definitely be visiting here again! Lots to choose from off the menu and such a nice drop in if you’ve just been for a walk!

While on a day trip to Cleveleys we stopped in this cafe for lunch, although very busy we found a table. Our food and drink order was taken promptly and arrived equally as promptly, which surprised us given how busy the cafe was. Food was cooked well and piping hot. Prices very reasonable.

We really recommend this pub. We came today, parked outside very easily and had our lunch, it’s great value👍🏻 it’s super clean and was lovely and warm too (heating was on!) staff were so lovely and welcoming. Food was FRESH (salad extremely fresh and crispy) we added onion rings as a side and they were fresh and hot too. Didn’t wait long for our food and staff checked everything was ok for us. Thanks so much… We will be back!

We went here for a function, and living some distance away with public transport not a realistic option, I offered to drive. No problem, I thought, there is a wider choice than ever of alcohol-free beers these days and surely every bar has at least has a couple to choose from - but not here, I'm sad to say. On arrival at the bar, the 'no' was so sharp I was made to feel daft for asking and I ended up with the old default of a mineral water - just the bottle at first and even a request for a glass, ice and lemon saw the latter begrudged. Surely in 2024, good alcohol-free choices should be on any well-stocked bar, not just for drivers but for anyone looking to enjoy the atmosphere but not drink for whatever reason. At similar prices to the alcoholic versions, they're more lucrative for the venue, too, than a mineral water I ended up nursing all night.

If people see Poolfoot farm and no connection to football teams then they might think this is just a sports facility and Fleetwoodds training ground, however it is so much more. Once visited you will want to go back, Food and Service are excellent. The Pizzas are some of the best around and the Sunday lunch is an absolute must

Called in for a bite to eat today. We've been eating here for years and it's been good in the past. Today was not so good... scrambled eggs were way overdone and nearly cold. The staff replaced them but these were overdone as well, albeit warmer. I don't usually moan about cafes, having run one in the past, but I think today's chef needs to learn how to scramble eggs! I'll happily show them how, if they ask.

Just had steak and chips with veg ..delicious. my husband had lamb chops with mash chips and veg..both clean plates.. perfect service. Lovely and clean ..
