Christ...this place allows people to vape inside and the drinkers don't half take advantage. It was like being in 70s pub but with a fruity twist. I won't go here again.

We only popped in for a pint during a dog walk, but the staff were friendly & they served a good pint! 🍺👍😎 We used the seating area out the back, which was next to a public car park & there was a fairly constant stream of cars in & out, hence the low atmosphere score! 😪

What a let down went for the day to Garstang, lunch time came around & the crown advertised food said come in try the food sat down asked for a menu but was told we are not doing food today. What a joke why advertise something then say we are not doing it today. I have never met as many miserable people either.

Nice clean basic pub. Decent beer at fair prices. Good atmosphere for a late afternoon drink. Bar staff pleasant and work hard.

Cozy little pub in Garstang. Always useful for a little drink when out shopping. Plenty of selection on drinks. Plenty of space in the pub and it's got quite a comfortable atmosphere. We had some food there and it was top class. Their homemade chips are to die for and not at a terrible price either. Curry was fantastic and my mother very much enjoyed her chicken burger and took it home.

Can't rate the food as we didn't eat here, but everything else was great.

A surprisingly good find! As part of a walk we called here for lunch and very pleased that we did - very welcoming clean and comfy. Proper home made food good both quality and quantity , 6 of us ate and all clean plates says it all. Thwaites pub but a guest ale that was excellent . Most mains less than £10 - excellent value

Popped in for a quick pint before going back to our apartment. Lively but lovely pub . Great prices , polite staff and a enjoyable atmosphere too. All age groups , nice to see young lads playing pool.

Great pub. Watched the football in here on a Sunday afternoon with some lunch and a beer. Was very busy with a great atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Almost licked my plate clean! The mash and gravy are next level!

Unfortunately no food was served the day I visited so cannot comment. It was the day of the annual Children's Festival on the Bank Holiday Monday. Very busy!!! Had to make sovwith a burger from the mobile van parked outside!!!

Had the Sunday roast and very nice indeed and well worth the money £10.50

Brilliant pub, love going in here at the weekends ,always a great atmosphere and good selection of beers at a reasonable price.

Friendly staff, very clean and spacious. Dog friendly. Lovely pint of Thwaites and excellent pies. The veg and mash with my steak pie (chips also an option) was the best I've had in a pub in a very long time.

Packed out when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. And Thwaite Smooth on draught, what's not to like? Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

What a great find was 'The Crown'! Excellent beers, friendly staff, spotlessly clean AND ...... THE FOOD ..... WOW! The Sunday lunch you could not cook and present better at home, and the weekly menu is varied and very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very clean, young girl behind the bar is very friendly, the food was very good and nicely presented, we will most definitely be visiting again in the near future..

Everytime we go to Garstang we go in the Crown my wife can do a bit of shopping and I go for a walk with my dog and meet up in the Crown

We arrived yesterday after a organised walk of 7 miles with a party of 11 people and were made welcome and thirst was extinguished, just what we wanted. Thank you.

Never had a bad pint or meal and the dogs are welcome
