Great little tea room had a plate of Scouse wad the best I have tasted in a long time will definitely be coming back

Went with family for my 80th birthday. Food service and atmosphere all added up to a truly memorable evening.

This is a lovely café, beautifully decorated and with great food for brunch and lunch. Coffee is also good, and reasonably priced with the other local cafés. However, I have found on various occassions they close 30mins-1hour before closing time, unfortunately making it hard to choose it as a regular spot for an afternoon coffee or cake due to the random changes to advertised opening hours without any updates online or on the door.

Visited on monday with a friend that had travelled a long, i was on crutch rolling an op. We were put on a tiny table that was a struggle for me to get in. The waitress was slow after 15 mins we asked if we could order and she said we were next to which they went to 2 other tables first !! After eventually taking our order the food arrived. I asked for mayo to which she brought back a empty bottle of aldi mayo, which I don't mind but paying £11.95 for a relatively small dry quiche and about 8 burnt on the outside and hard on the inside chunky chips I was a bit cheesed off to be honest, surely they can put it in a little pot. Food over priced & tasteless Service rubbish Do not recommend

We go here regularly for the quiz. It’s a brilliant night out. The beers are great and the service is spot on. The pizzas are lovely and I’m really picky with pizza. Totally recommend.

Went to watch live music event. Great entertainment. Lovely cosy little place. Had a great time. Met up with family and friends. Staff and owners were lovely

This Cafe has such a welcoming,charming atmosphere. The food is delicious and served promptly,with a friendly smile! It's so nice to use a local,independant business like this,instead of going to an impersonal chain. It claims to be dog friendly and I can safely say that it's probably the most dog friendly cafe that I know of! We travelled from North Wales with our tiny little 'Poppy' and Popsy's is her favourite place too.

I enjoy coming here with my step-dad - it's wheel chair friendly, does nice soup and sandwiches and the staff are excellent.

Poor customer service. The girl behind the counter taking orders was surly to the point of rudeness. She wouldn't take my order for soup and a sandwich at 11.52 because lunch service does not start until mid day.....but that was stated very curtly. I ordered Americano with hot milk but was served ice cold milk. When mid day arrived I asked for a chicken and tomato sandwich but was told I couldn't have it because it isn't on the menu. Chicken and mayo is on the menu. Cheese and tomato is on the menu. We left without eating.

Had a great full English breakfast the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was so much better than expected

So much variety of sweet and savoury. Fresh delicious bread. Lovely, courteous staff and a fabulous family business. Great value for money.

Delicious ice cream and friendly lady ‘Diane’ serving it Ice cream made by her husband . Will definately visit again in future.

Gorgeous cozy little place with a lovely menu. Homemade cakes are absolutely delicious. I am quite fussy re coffee and it is one of my favourites. Owner and staff ALWAYS lovely. Make myself and my twins feel REALLY welcome and we never feel rushed. REALLY reasonable prices too and even doggies are welcomed. This has become a weekly treat ... hot chocolate and homemade sticky toffee cake (Highly recommended) in a warm cozy welcoming cafe right on Babks Road. We love it. X

It used to be a great place, but sadly, it has gone downhill. I went in on Friday and paid for yoghurt with cash and was told they were short of change and would I mind if I was 20p short. Of course I said no and the just looked at me. I said I will pay by card and she said she had put it through as cash. I suggested that she put more fruit on the yoghurt to account for the extra 20p and she said I will have to ask the manager. Then came back and said it was OK. What a State! If everyone agreed to pay an extra 20p then they would be raking the money in!
