The best restaurants in Hoylake and Meols Wirral North West

Travelled from Wales to try the gelato as I have heard about this place on Instagram and wasn’t disappointed! Gelato was amazing, service was friendly and the place was immaculately clean, 10/10 would recommend!

Went here based on the tripadvisor reviews - and the food pictures! Food looked pretty good. And it WAS good. Great food and fantastic staff, 10/10 would go again without hesitation.

The food here is top notch. Our chickpea starter was so flavoursome I could have happily had it as a main. All the food is cooked to order and they are happy to talk you through the menu when you arrive and vary the heat of the dish if desired. There's a good drinks list and it's very reasonably priced. The service is friendly and welcoming and it all makes for a great dining experience. This is a restaurant that deserves to do well. We'll be back!

Mother’s Day Meal…. Nothing beats a family run authentic restaurant. They offered the mother a glass of bubbly complimentary to start with and overall service and setting was amazing. Food was delicious too. First time going and won’t be the last!!

The best cafe in Hoylake! Myself and my partner were recommended this place by a friend. We have been here for lunch a fair few times now and it has undoubtedly become our favourite lunch spot on the Wirral! The owners and all the staff are so lovely and super accommodating when I’ve needed to change things due to dietary requirements!

Styled as an American rock/dive bar, this place is inviting and popular. Seems a true community hub with regulars across all age groups and all professions, very welcoming atmosphere. It's one of those places where you see rough Harley bikers have in-depth conversation with your posh nan. Music selection at night is mainly rock of all decades, but daytime I heard a range between soul, jazz, blues which makes it a perfect place for music lovers. Regular live music on a weekend too, that can get busy, so be early if you want a seat. The two brothers that run it are fit too ;-)

The meals all lovely in there. Take it a little bit longer than some places but well with the wait. Owners are really nice and helpful.

Located at the top end of hoylake, this small coffee house is perfect for anytime of day. Great selection of teas and coffee, around 5 different cakes to pick from.... Tiffin especially good.

Esta pequeña pastelería independientes es un descubrimiento. Probamos varios de sus bizcochos delecate con esponja y otras deliciosas tartas. Tanto así que hicimos un pedido inmediatamente.Yo también estará introduccion en mi café ya que como es tan bueno!Me encanta el estilo de panaderos, así como producir tarta moderna decoración ella es antigua escuela, que me deja sensación maravillosamente nostálgico.Me será ordenar todas mis pasteles de celebración desde aquí de su obra.No se daba.

We had two chicken burgers to take out which each came with truffle fries. All really lovely and a reasonable price. We will be ordering again in the future :)

We love this restaurant. The staff are charming and helpful, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming and cosy. A delightful place to spend a happy evening.
