What an utter shock! Here in sleepy Hoy-lake Lau-Ra is producing the finest Sacher-Torte I have ever eaten (I have had it at Hotel Sacher in Wien and in Salzburg). The other cakes are also superb, impeccable. Off the scale....

Amazing cakes and tray bakes, form a small local business. The blueberry and lemon curd blondie was perfect, and I can't wait to tuck into the salted caramel brownie too 😋

Stumbled across this lovely place yesterday and bought a few tray bakes and cupcakes for my grandmas birthday tea party. We found them all so delicious ! You can tell they are homemade and made with love.

Took over a week to reply to my initial cake enquiry only to reply to say and I quote: "Sorry we didn't see your message before, if there is anything else we can help you with please let us know." That is not a response I would expect, did not advise if they could help with my enquire and effectively shut down the request. would not use in the future.

Just the best. The cake was everything I had hoped for and more. Looked beautiful and tasted incredible, cannot recommend enough and will be using for our wedding cake! Thank you so much! Xxx

Beautifully decorated cake ordered for my daughter’s 18th birthday, tastes delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive throughout. Definitely recommend and will be going back to Abba Cakes in the future.

We ordered a special cake from Laura for a party and it was perfect. The design was just what we wanted and very precise and the cake itself was delicious. We appreciated Laura advising us how to prepare it so when the party started it was just ready to eat. We loved the cake and Laura's friendly service and we'll be coming again.

Absolutely delicious!!! Having walked past this enticing window display a few times, we decided that we needed to taste something. The puff pastry cheesecake was amazing - light and full of flavour. The Bounty Brownie was also fantastic - perfect blend of coconut and chocolate. We will definitely be coming back for more.

My review is a little late, but I bought some croissants and an assortment of brownies and blondies back in May. Not only were they beautifully presented, but they were all delicious! My boyfriend and his dad couldn't stop talking about how good they were. The pistachio cream in the croissants and the brownies is one of the best things I've ever tasted. I'll definitely be going back to Abba Cakes soon and I've already recommended Laura's desserts to all of my friends. Laura, thank you for your exceptional service and all those delicious goodies!

We ordered 2 cakes for joint 60th party. Laura from Abba cakes Hoylake did an amazing job. They not only looked gorgeous but one was choc with fudge oozing through the layers, while the lemon layer cake was just so lemony! The guests scoffed almost all of them and there were numerous compliments. Getting all my cakes from Laura now!

Lovely bakery, everything is made fresh. The service is up to a high standard. The cakes are amazing and tasty. 10/10 recommend

Best tasting and looking cakes in the wirral- if not the world. Laura made my 21st Birthday cake and it was the most divine cake I've ever had tasted. The butter frosting was insane (I hate frosting normally) but this cake was next level throughout, I still think about it all the time ahaha. I Can't wait to order more for my friends and family in the future and hopefully Laura will do lessons so we can learn from the best!

About 6 years ago I got a birthday cake from Laura, and I’ve never needed to go anywhere else since! Laura always makes my cakes, because they are just too tasty not to. More than recommend for anyone who wants something tasty and looks great too.

I had the pleasure of Laura doing my gender reveal cupcakes, she was so professional when she found out and able to keep a straight face as I didn’t know. The cakes were absolutely delightful and exactly what I wanted taste and aesthetics wise, thanks so much Laura! Also her winter boxes are to die for too.

Laura’s cakes don’t just look good they taste amazing. I’ve had a number of her selection boxes and I can’t fault the flavours the texture and the presentation. Now that Laura is opening up her shop on Market Street I can’t wait to stop by more often for some of her delicious treats!
