Wild Inn in Wirral

Called in for a quick drink with friends on a Saturday evening in March 2025, as a first time visitor. The place was clean and nicely laid out, and we were greeted with a friendly smile from the staff. Staff were polite and we didn’t feel rushed at any point, even though we were only having a drink and toom our time perusing the drinks menu. The atmosphere was relaxed and really made for a good experience. We all ordered cocktails, and none of them disappointed – I had the local variation of the Long Island Ice Tea and it was delicious: very well made, really good size of drink, and at a good price. Also the gents toilet – although compact – was clean and fresh. Would recommend, and will visit again. In fact, technically we did as we left to go somewhere round the corner but it was busy so we went back to the Wild Inn and had the same again!

Styled as an American rock/dive bar, this place is inviting and popular. Seems a true community hub with regulars across all age groups and all professions, very welcoming atmosphere. It's one of those places where you see rough Harley bikers have in-depth conversation with your posh nan. Music selection at night is mainly rock of all decades, but daytime I heard a range between soul, jazz, blues which makes it a perfect place for music lovers. Regular live music on a weekend too, that can get busy, so be early if you want a seat. The two brothers that run it are fit too ;-)

I had a most amazing espresso martini, the bar men were so helpful and professional. Toby and Billy were happy and friendly what more can you ask for so hospitable. Your cocktails are delicious thank you guys you are amazing

Went here with our friends who are local and go there regularly. Everyone was very friendly and we had the best time with the best people. The guys who run the place are very good.

This great little bar is now back to serving up excellent coffee so you can sit back with friends and enjoy the atmosphere and listen to the music. The staff are freindly and welcoming, and the bar area is comfortable. There was a chill in the air so I was reccomend the Mocha, which I enjoyed and my wife had the Latte, which she said was just the best. There are an amazing selection of cocktails, which we will check out on an evening visit or when there is some live music on, when it does get busy, so get in early.

Boss atmosphere and friendly staff throughout. Visited here after a day on the beach and will definitely be returning to this cool bar!

If we get a chance to get out this is where we head. Good music, nice crowd. Often has a good live band or singer.

Went here today for the first time with some friends. It’s hard to describe the place and I’d say rustic with loads of atmosphere. The choice of beers and cocktails were good and the background music was a history of my life (I’m 65). I just wished I lived nearer because if I did this would be without doubt my local. I will definitely be back very soon.

The ideal local rock bar. Intimate venue with the ideal soundtrack and perfect clientele. Drop in for their impeccable selection of Rum, or incredible atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

This place is by far the best bar in West Kirby. Forget about the delusions of grandeur of Blind Pig or the "all fur no knickers" of The Wro. This IS the place to be if you like down to earth people, some of the best cocktails and spirits, excellent cakes and coffee all to a rock soundtrack that could have been selected for a Tarantino movie. Boss interior and while you're there - get their nachos!!

This is a great independent bar/cafe. They have a good comprehensive hot/soft drinks menu. Board games and chess available. It is a great addition to West Kirby’s history street. Also, Prices are reasonable and the decoration of the place is so fun and inviting. We will be coming back again soon!
